After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"I'd have to disagree with what the other people say about the background
its not the center of attention in this wall so i think the filters work well with it. and i have no idea how you went from the scan in the first link to the second, but that is freakin awesome.

anyways the wall is really good. The rocks near the front could have more definition since its like... in the front, but i really had to look for that one. The scan draws enough attention on its own. I guess the rocks near the sword are too close to towards the center to be blurred like that.

dont worry about the filters.. i mean.. having them or not is more like an artistic taste thing, so whatever you want would be fine"

I think that Guilty Gear X 2 is an amazing game.
The graphic is fantastic (I love 2d) the music are simply great and the characters are very cool.
Personally I use Millia and Chipp, I love speed ^_^
I also like Sol and dizzy for the pure power but I'm still learning how to be a good player.
It's a bit difficult for an hardcore Tekken fan like me to play this games ^_^

Millia and Chipp realllyyy have to work for their victories as opposed to slayer and potemkin (a.b.a. too?) who could win after exploiting one mistake.

but.. in Guilty Gear Slash Chipp's throw has longer down time. meaning you can followup with Gamma Blade or normal otg (off the ground) hits vs all characters ... except May i think (overlooked bug?). So you can probably keep on the offensive for alot longer. Also theres an FRC for 2 of chipp's teleport moves for more mixup. However i read somewhere that its only 1 frame."

It's weird because the scan looks as if you conveniently vectored PARTS of it. The extraction is not that good, as the sides of the shirt has a white outline. The cat looks like it's PART of the wall, rather than in front of it. basically the whole wall is too, "In you face" and there's no sense of depth to it. Parts of the guy's shirt needs cleaning. Somehow the way you put together sort of a hard vector style with blured vectors didnt work out so well..

Also your "vectored" graffitti wall obviously has the bricks horizontal while the one you overlapped it on is going sideways.. o.0


yeah i see what you mean about the hard and soft vectoring. Actually the parts that are hard i didnt really vector at all. I could clean of the edges of the scan but should i vector the rest of it hard or soft?

as for the cat, im thinking i should put a drop shadow but... its kinds supposed to be against the wall so im not sure if it will work out that way.

btw the reason i put the overlay on the "vectored" (yes its vectored) graffiti was because it blended with the wall too much so i had to make it look different

"I submitted this wallpaper a couple of months back and they accepted it, but it was somehow deleted along with the other wallpapers submitted that day.

i resubmitted it recently and they rejected it. They didnt really say why but i guess the standard has changed.

anyways any help would be appreciated. i dont really know what else to change so ... here it is

background is made of 2 vectored images of graffiti that i found on google
bricks and cat are from a page in the black cat manga.
the train scan can be found in the scans section. it was already pretty clean but i still used the smudge tool to make it smoother. The hair part was hard cuz of the text that was over it

Well, I'm a big fan Of Guilty Gear (I'm sure you can see it^^).
I've played it since GG > GGX > GGX Plus > GGXX > GGI
It's a damn good fighting game^^.
I'm playing as KY and Jam. Those 2 are my best fighter. Other than them I used : Venom, Bridget, and Axl.

I've got a crazy combo vid from my friend, so I don't really know where to download it.
It's a combo vid of Jam and I-no played by 2 crazy player comboing every GG characters in training mode.
Most of the low defense chara's just dead in one combo with no time to even restore his/her health x_x.
Jam's doing a 100+ hit on Potemkin! Damn!

I'd love to share it but I don't know how and where to post a video??

I'm currently downloading your vid Kardis^^.


glad to know im not the only guilty gear fan around here.
however, i've only played since GGXX and its been keeping me entertained for a longggg time
so far my best characters are venom and baiken
venom cuz he has great pressure and okizeme
baiken cuz of the guard cancels and dust loop

btw hendi, that endless combo jam can do on potemkin is probably gonna be taken away in guilty gear slash
thats gonna suck

LIES LIES. FF will never die. It still owns, although occasionaly a older ff game might be better than a new one that comes out. HOWEVER, almost every FF has a HoooooOOOT girl. Man Tifa BBABBY. HMMM I want some of that. OOO ADvent CHildren o baby, she was soo hot in that movie, dang she is suppppaaaaaaaaaa hot. ahah but sometimes she looks wierd in that movie, but most of the time she was inresistable. DANNG Cmon Cloud go make babies with her and make little tifas that wil grow of to become beautiful models that will make the world a more romantic and beautiful place. PLEASE CLOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

though you do have a point. Just because the ff games aren't getting better and better all the time doesnt mean that the series is dying. However i have noticed that they are reusing story lines (dirge of cerberus:ff7, ffx-2) and even ff12 is based partly on the world of Ivalice from final fantasy tactics) I know this doesn't make the games bad, just a little less original. Perhaps they are running out of ideas =/"

"I think if you tone down the rainbow overlay of the second one you can find some middle ground between the 1st and 2nd one. i definitely like the color in the 2nd one, but its a bit too much. lower the opacity or something so there's color, but its not as kaBLAM. =D and i realllyyy like the design / idea. *thumbs up*"

"I can see every layer you made.. heh well first of all... the blank space could be okay, but that image in the top left corner kinda gives a feeling that its incomplete. see if you can get the main image on the right to be larger, and if you still want the image on the top left... mebe center it on the left side. it feels like its in the middle of nowhere. the lens flare is really random... XO use some brushes in the bg if you want to give an effect thing. color scheme is nice though, stick to it =D"
