I don't think a woman president will change anything. It is also very unlikely, given that female representatives in government comprise a tiny minority.

I wanna know ppl's opinion for there being a woman president of the United States of America.

I personally think we shoudl msot definetly have one rite now. THe male presidents are making lots of mistakes and ignoring the ppl. IF a woman was president there would be a total change to how politics is like now. But I wanna know the truth of wat others believe. Is there hope for a woman to become president are is it a lsot cause? Tell me your opinion even if you want to say bad things I am not here to change your opinion. Just ot listen to it.

I did find some verses in the Bible about this kind of stuff. I'll put it in direct quote the way it would be read exactly on the page:

1 Timothy 2:9-13
"Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments; but rather by means of good works, as befits women making a claim to godliness. Let a woman quitely receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve."

That tells a bit. But even my mom doesn't like the idea of a woman President. Firstly because they're extremely emotional. And have flowing hormones that usually accompany their time. So they could make very irrational choices then say they never wanted that.

Another thing is every President ages very quickly while in office. Take for example Abraham Lincoln. He went in a very young man and about 5 or 6 years later when he was shot he was old and wrinkled. Or with Ronald Regan. He had slick full black hair when he went into office. When he came out of the presidency he had white hair that was falling out. ONLY 8 YEARS! The Presidency is very stressful and women can handle certain ammounts of stress such as a desk job then taking care of the family and all that, but a man must handle more stress because they're capable of handling more stress. My dad for example handles the stress of his job every day. Because of his very hard job he hates holidays and weekends. He just wants everything to hurry up so he can retire and finally relax. The place is so stressful that 5 women who got employed there either quit or were fired the next day because the labor was too stressful and their production rates were way too low because they couldn't handle the job. In it you need to throw cases of water and very heavy stuff and take them to the docks so they can be shipped to the stores. My dad got hurt plenty of times there and he finally got an easier job, but the work he does is still stressful because of that place he works in.

That is why a woman shouldn't be a President. They can't handle the stress, have too many emotions to make rational decisions, flowing hormones, and women always want to stay beautiful. It'd be easier for them not to be President.

What are you talking about? a woman can't do it unless she's a dictator thar murders congress?? I am sorry to say this, but this post sounded degrading and chauvinist. You are stating that, while the a good part of the female society nowadays has a job, takes care of the house and looks after their children, can't run a country?
If you wanted to give another meaning please clarify it.

i wouldn't mind a woman being president. if she can do the job, is smart, knows the people's wants and needs, can fufill her duties.. then what the hell does it matter if the prez has a period every month? LOL really gender doesn't matter, it's more of what they stand for and what they're actually doing with teh country...

will we get a woman prez? maybe soon b/c of hilary.. but really women do not have precident as VP or P, so it's hard to accept for some people b/c they are in the mind-set that "if we haven't had one, then i guess they're just not good enough, if they were good enough they'd be elected" ((aka. like when you are looking for your first job, but the business wants those with experience.. but you can't get experience w/o a job O.o)) and then there still are a lot of men in the US that truely believe that women cannot handle it, and still basically view men as "higher" then women and would be aghast if a woman were to become P. So there are a lot of kinda retarded issues that are kinda keeping women out..

but i think we're doing much better in that more people are acceptiong of it, and even want a woman to be prez! lol.. so YAY for the progress those political women have made... :P
