"I've seen a couple. I think I'm really addicted to the Korean dramas. I really really like Full House, which is also a manga. There are a ton of different kinds of asian drama's at http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/index.php and http://japan-tv.afraid.org:6969

Both are bitorrent sites, which is not a hard program to dl or use. They also have forums, and there are a lot of recomendations. "

Has anyone every takes 28 units in state or university?

"I was on the quarter system. The most I took was was 19 or 20 and I was always working. It was terrible the few quarters I did that to myself, I had no time for anything but studying and working. I did get a better GPA but it was not worth it to me. The quarter system at my University was 9 weeks, that included a week of finals(it's a lot harder than the semester system). Of course, it does depend on the classes one takes, but at the time I was already working on my hardest upper division courses. Full time is 12 but most people took between 12-15. Anything over that was considered heavy, with good reason :) I did learn good time managment skills. I didn't consider it worthless, just not worth all the effort. "

What do you guys think? Also for girls on the forums, what does it mean to be "safe?"

As for being safe, it means you're a friend and that women don't worry about their virtue when they're with you. It's a good thing because it sounds like you are gentle and not very aggressive, which are good qualities. However, it does sound as if you need to be more honest about what you really want from the people that you care about."

"I started playing when I was five years old. I wasn't forced, I loved it. I had lessons for years before I picked up the trumpet. I love listening to others play, and I still enjoy practicing when I have time. I also think it's easiest to compose on the piano first before writing anything down or transcribing or orchestrating a piece. The piano is very useful, as well as being beautiful :)"

That's hilarious! I tend to agree, I would rather meet someone in person first. I think it's really interesting how online dating has become such a fad, from hook up sites to actual internet programs to match compatible people. Does this make relationships more complicated than they already are?

Chinchillas

"My best friend has a chinchilla and it has issues. It's really really cute but it hates all of us. We all think it's psycho. He chews on his fur until there are these huge holes(it looks really odd) and he makes these really terrible noises, like it's choking to death or being murdered. Mocha, the chinchilla, got a little better when we bought him a little rat friend. I guess he was lonely but it didn't completely cure the problems(there are others but I won't bore everyone with the details)."

"I know that when I really love someone, not just infatuation, it's a choice. I think about the person too much. And I want to be with him and talk about nothing and everything. It's not hard to talk about him to other people. I think it spills over in other parts of my life. It's exciting and scary all at the same time, at first, but it mellows as you really get to know the other person. I've truly come to belive that true love is a choice and it's not just based on emotion, although that is part of it :) "

"Well, I think I've gotten to the point where I think it's a personal choice. I would rather not make that choice for myself because I do prefer meeting people in real life. But that's me and my opinion.

I've heard all the arguments about online dating and like anything else it has pros and cons. I don't know, it's just a really hard concept for me to wrap my mind around.

" Recently I've had a really good friend meeting people through the internet and going on dates. I've also known people that have met and actually gotten married after meeting in a forum not very different from this one. But these days there are all kinds of dating services and whatnot on the web.

Honestly, it's a little scary to me. I worry about my friend getting hurt or worse. I understand that it's her life and she needs to make her own decisions and there have been happy outcomes. I'm just not sure about the whole idea of meeting someone online.

Your First Kiss

"This is so nostalgic. Hmm, my first kiss with a boy was stolen when I was 10 I think. He chased me until he caught and pined me and then planted one. I don't think I would count that though.

My first REAL kiss was really cute and sweet. It was at a park near my house underneath my favorite tree. It was with my first steady bf. We had been going out for three weeks or so by then. We were talking and then he got this look in his eyes and he slowly leaned over and kissed me. It was really gentle and innocent and even though it's been years since then it's still a wonderful memory."

Enter the Underworld

"Underworld was the first DVD I actually bought for myself. I like the whole idea of Vampire and Werewolves and I think the movie did a good job of portraying the strife between the two groups. I obviously really like the movie although I'm not completely sold on a sequel. I guess I'll have to wait and see but most sequels are just not as good as the first(there are exceptions and that's what I'm hoping for...)."

"I think my first manga was Angelic Layer but I'm not positive. My friend owns a ton of japanese manga and I think I first got into it by looking at it while she translated it for me. Since we started with the phone books, I have no idea which story or mangaka it was from."
