As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

not much to say on this, the chapter was very short, other than it was predicted that (of course) Syaoran would win xD and somehow i knew that if Chii was in the manga 'Freya' would be there too lol
so at the end of the chapter we find 3rd worlds being connected through her: Infinity, Celes, and the unknown world that Sakura would've landed in. (ooo the suspense x3)"

"I think that's to expected considering the fact that Fye's wish was not to return to Celes (it must be really bad to make him not want to go back right? o.o)side note, in case anyone hasn't read it already, chapter 145 is out:

honestly from my perspective both Syaoran and the 'doll'(xD) seem to be quite evenly matched. (i hope this won't on too long o.o)
as for Sakura, there's more info about her 'cross-dimension on her own' wish. in addition to winning the ability to crossover to another world from the Chess game, Sakura wants to be able to select the next world she goes to, (that makes more sense compared to the info given in the last chapter about how the she wouldn't be able to choose the world she'd land in -that would've been pointless) however, as a price Sakura would have to give up her 'good luck' which apparently is the reason why she's been 'protected' and was able to move forward. so when she moves to the next world there will be no 'luck' to protect her.
quite a bold move (i wonder what future Sakura saw)"

"^that's definitely possible, Ashura could make Fye go back to Celes, after all Yuuko did say before that fate will determine when his wish would be granted, it was never promised that he wouldn't return to Celes :pbtw, i found it kinda amusing at the end of chapter 144, Eagle's first piece is a 'mechanical doll' lol...angelic layer teehee (it just looked a little out of place there xD) "

"Wow, i haven't been here in a lonnnnnngggg while xDDDi agree with shirahime, personally i'm not really loving Sakura's new attitude. i mean it was nice to see Sakura wanting to help and all, but to take responsibility for everything is just too much. her good intentions are hurting others (imo, especially Syaoran since he's already feeling really really guilty)
