Also, i'd like to watch Burst Angel. That might be worth it. And they're finally getting the translated version of Yatsubato out. That'll be a treat to many fans.BUT MOST OF ALL! They will be released live action GTO! Though i already have them all on cd-rw's, i'd like to get the OVA's on a disc. This is truly a great adaptation, people."

"I also really enjoyed the stick episodes. And i'd love a second season, but i do realize, that in the reality of things, there will not be one. It's a shame that the anime ended where, literally, it is my favorite scene. I even backtracked the last few minutes to make sure i didn't miss anything.as for the manga, i highly reccomend it. its great and i'll be waiting for the last,( four), i think."

"I just finished watching the series. I am aware that the anime ended when the manga was still in production, which explains all the recap episodes near the end, and the ending left me very "empty". I felt very unfulfilled. But am i right in saying that there are only 26 episodes? There is no "sequal or second season"? I still love the series and i'm glad there are still more manga volumes coming out, but the anime left me wanting more."

"Manga. most definately. There are many cases where, in the transition to anime-form, the characters are just drawn worse. Case and point: Love Hina. The characters are drawn horribly. The way the characters are drawn in the manga really makes it look good, but when it was re-drawn by someone else, its just pretty bad looking."

Why anime dvd cost so much...

"Yeah, i also read this article. Its a shame that it all makes sense. But if you're still in search of the lowest price dvds, try best buy. I dont work for best buy, so i'm not trying to advertise them, but you can at least find them for less than $30. Its ridiculous how i can go to any other store but best buy and a dvd is $29.99. BUT the bad news: i just went yesterday and it seems that best buy is raising their prices on dvds. for a while, they were selling all of their new anime dvds for $20, but now i think they kicked it up $5. it may be just me, but thats gonna be a killer in the long run."
