"First of all, the movie was horrid. HORRID. It was sooo overly dramatic and cheesy and seriously what was with the white makeup? Secondly, the movie ruined all the magic =[

I'm not a Twilight hater but i'm not much of a "Twihard" either, just another fan that read it before it was ever propagandized by the media and people who had never heard of it 3 years ago. I think the series is a nice STORY but its not much more than that . I agree with LenasLover, Meyer isn't the greatest author ever, she's just another novel writer. I do enjoy the Twilight series, but it compared to some literary books like The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby, its nothing but a popular culture landmark. I hate how everyone is making it such a great deal now (helllooo it came out 3 years ago) and saying how its "the greatest book ever" because in reality IT ISN'T! It's just another story! WHY WON'T YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND?

ok, now to the good , its got a nice plot although it sort of turned downwards sometimes (New Moon-seriously, no one cares about Bella and that dog! Where's Edward!). There was a lack of character development (again, its a STORY) and a repetition of catastrophes (how many times can Bella's life being in danger come up?).
The books were very captivating and drew the audience deeply into the plot. I remember never wanting to put the book down and read it even as i was walking. Breaking Dawn came out when i had two weeks left of summer before school started and i had tons of Bio homework to do, but i still decided to take a risk and read the entire thing in 3 days . Stephanie Meyer really knows how to hold an audience and always creates a life or death situation that's interesting no matter how redundant =p."

Text Messaging

"Haha these days its not too surprising. My friends average 500 texts a day actually, so maybe this is the only reported record? Thank goodness for free text plans or the phone company would be using money as toilet paper! I don't have free text so i don't text so much and only average maybe 10 a day sent and 15 received.
Texting is very convenient and not like calling where you have to be talking all the time. With texting, you have the freedom of not saying anything for awhile and can send pictures if you can't express yourself in words. It also provides privacy and a sort of respect to people who may be around you and would like it quiet like in a library lol.
My teacher allows a certain amount of texting (like when he isn't speaking) and he finds it amusing and wasteful at the same time how much people text. His T.A has her fingers moving every 30 seconds so he asked her what the heck does she text about and the entire class turned around and says they text about "anything."
i guess texting also contributes to the lack of real communication we have nowadays. Before it was the phone and already people started talking face to face less but now with texting and instant messaging, you lose a lot of personal connection like with the increase in text breakups ."

Do you cry alone in the street?

"Lol short answer question. I try not to, i think crying is something you do alone or when you're with someone you trust. Crying is being vulnerable so actually, its more of being able to cry when you are in public. Course when you are little, crying doesn't mean much except that you didn't get what you want. Being older means more control over emotions and i guess part of not crying in public is not wanting to bother others with your problems, at least..that's what i think.

So i guess my short answer would be that yes, i would and have when i absolutely have to, but i try not to. "

"Well with you, censorship is also any issue. These days everything is getting censored because people don't want to get sued. There is no such thing as saying what you want even in countries where they guarantee your rights. It's a big issue right now because everyone wants to be politically correct, but it just makes us all the more stupid. For example, the change from A.D and B.C to B.C.E and B.C.

If you're talking about cartoons, then yes. Cartoons have gone to hell. It all sucks really really bad. I can't stand to watch them anymore =[. We used to have cartoons every week day on Channel 5, too. And now, they just have stupid comedies. But even if they did have cartoons, i wouldn't watch because they really suck. They try to use the best graphics and stuff but that doesn't mean it makes the cartoons better. I feel like they're targeting 7 year olds that don't have an opinion on what's good or bad to watch yet -__-. I wish the good ol' stuff like Looney Tunes and Magic School Bus was back. I loved those shows.

As for shows like Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural =]. They're addictinggggg "

There's probably not much to investigate if he raped a BABY. Juvy record can't be released? That's like if all the sex offenders wasn't known to the public and you let them babysit your kids.

"Lol yea it's weird when you're all alone laughing but i laugh even harder when other people look at me like I'm crazy. When something happens in class usually my friends know about it too and we just giggle like crazy together while other students wonder what the heck is so funny. In the street it is a bit embarrassing but when you need to laugh, then just laugh. Happy people live longer =D. "

"Manga doesn't have to specify a certain culture. I think it's more of a type of comics. Sure Japanese people started it, but it doesn't mean people who aren't Japanese can't do it either. You don't have to think of it so on the surface. And just cause it's from a country other than Japan doesn't mean its bad quality. There's some really crappy Japanese manga and there's some really good American manga. So don't ask if its American or Japanese before you read it. Decide based on quality not culture. "

We look pretty for the guys lol. But it's not only women. men worry about their looks too and you'd be surprised how vain some of them are. I take showers 20 minutes max, i don't look at every single mirror i pass by, i eat as much as i like whenever i like, i try to eat early though...and sure i worry about my weight, but not as constant. "Well in the last book, it was kind of obvious. I expected as much since Dumbledore and mcgonagall never really worked out lol. I think it's great that J.K Rowling made Dumbledore gay. Homosexual people have been put down for ages and now she makes a greatly respected man homo. I think it's something of a break through =p.

I don't think Rowling could've said anything until the series was over anyway. Dumbledore's choice of sex couldn't really get developed and told. If she did say he was earlier in the series, then it probably would've been a spoiler. "
