Well, basically, it's obvious that Nagato and Madara are part of Akatsuki. Both wielding their Bloodlines to their max power. We don't know the full power of the Rin'negan or even the Sharingan for that matter. So my theory comes down to either Madara and Nagato came to some sort of agreement about Akatsuki or one is controlling the other.

He [Madara] must be the strongest shinobi in the series so far, we have to remember that he is one of the leaf village founders, so there is a apparent difference in abilities.

Although, I must say, I doubt he's the one in control, though he might be. You're assuming he's probably the most powerful due to the fact that he's old. The only things we know about him is he is old and he wields the full extent of the Sharingan. We can't assume he's the most powerful as Jiraiya himself said that the Rin'negan is probably the most powerful of the Doujutsu, in which case, he's probably at level with Nagato.

How did they assume that Tobi is giving Pein commands in Akatsuki? Tobi might just be taunting Pein because recently, they have always failed capturing Kyuubi and it matters to Tobi thinking that he might be Madara. Now if Pein would be the one for the job, then success is more probable because he leads Akatsuki. I don't even think that Madara is strong. If he is, why he needs to hide his identity or use Akatsuki? He maybe the founder of Uchiha Clan but he lost to the First Hokage.

For someone having Rin'negan, Pein sure is weak, at least his emotions are. Even Naruto and Sasuke lived the way he experience life but the two aren't nut heads like Pain

Here's a little piece of trivia for you. Serial Experiments Lain originally had a high yet subtle amount of Anti-American sentiments throughout the show. When the producer Ueda first came to the United States for a convention he was shocked and surprised that Serial Experiments Lain had such a massive popularity. He could understand why Haibane Renmei would be popular but not Lain. The reason being most Americans didn't know about the anti-Americanism within Lain. Pioneer noticed it and left it out of purpose and fansubbers weren't accurate enough to catch it. This lead to some dissapointment when he had wanted a conflict of ideas between the two cultures which never occured.

You can be intelligent but stupid, smart but dumb.

A combination of both intelligent and smart is hard to come across, and judging by some of your answers, that concept hasn't lingered into your minds yet.

There are varying degrees of intelligence. Ambition, drive, passion, the desire and ability to learn and absorb various different fields, are a few attributes towards being both intelligent and smart. There is also emotional intelligence, which again, is something many people lack and have no consideration of.

And then there are people in denial that some English dubs really ARE better than Japanese shows (by Japanese standards), but really, that's such a stupid way to look at things. Every body has different opinions so lay off picking on dubs, please. There are Japanese people who like some of our dubbing better than their original voices. Just because it's the shows/games native language doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws...
