Ok, now for some ranting:
- Fonts don't blend with the background.
- A border in a wp? Pleeease. At least not like that one.
- The bg looks nice, but it's kinda boring.
- And I don't like the Drop Shadow behind the girl.

"Ok, so I am really bored and instead on starting making two school rumble walls (which one of is a bigger project), I've corrected some things here and... started vectoring the main image. Y'all have a great persuation skill. This is how it looks now - the only thing it's missing is all those black line besides the center of the face, where they are already made.

But that's not the thing I want you too look at now ;p Please tell me what about the placement of the chibis and ther 'descriptions' now? Is it better than before?

I also have some minor changes of them issued, that is: changing some of the colours of the Shana chibi and adding a black outline over the top of all four characters, to make them more recognizeable from the main image.

"Done, done and done. How could've I miss such obvious things? As for the bluriness of the mian pic, I'm aware of that, but I'm afraid I can't do anymore than on v2. Why? This is simple - I won't vectorize it, cause I'm too lazy, this wall was supposed to be a quickie.

chowfun, I wanted it black. As I stated before, it's just a variation of my wall, a variation I will use from now. I like it. If anyone likes it too and will DL it, good for him. If it'll get rejected... well, I won't correct or alter it. At least not now. Maybe some day. I know that's a bit "uncommunity'ish", but I've made two wp's recently and this one is just a mere intermission :D

"Ok, so this is a variation of my current (nearly two weeks and running ;d), which is a variation of a banner I made for AP4 :D I took a good shot from the DVD ending (B&W), colorized it, and closed it in a wide rectangular. Included a logo and text in kanji. That was my wall. For the submission here, I added some new, minor things, and added vectorized chibi versions of all four Flame Hazes. (the characters from the right are from the Assorted Shana vol. 3 CD, chibi Shana eating ramen is from the artist's artbook). I wanted it to be as simple as possible, while enjoyable. Everything took me circa 3 hours, which is quite a good time ;d What do you think? I'm very happy with it, and I don't see any need for improvements here, but I'll listen to your suggestions:

- The font is meant to be hard to read, as an effect of Kyon's migraine.
- Thanks for mentioning the gap in the hair, I'll get to the shape of the vector mask in a minute.
- Hmm... the BG... Yup, my idea was to make it annoying by repeating it all over, but maybe it is a better idea to change it to something else. I'll think of it.
- I'll look for other chibis, though I think it'll be kinda hard... Well, we'll see about that

"Was it 'filters -> artistic -> cutout'ed? Grained, blurred, pixelated. Oh, and very... empty. There may be an idea here, but the wall is far from great. First, let Ed be not so grained - I don't know if his character was vectored or not, but you can do better than that. Try to use better light effects. Next up is the background. Maybe something less boring and more detailed?

If I were you, I'd rework the whole project, but wait for what others have to say :)"

New work! Suzumiya Haruhi!

"New day, new wallpaper from me. And a Haruhi Suzumiya one, to make myself clear. I loved this show sice the first episode (which I quite enjoyed, am I creepy?) and I wanted to do something as soon as possible. The day before yesterday, upon completing my NGE wall, I found a great chibi pic of Haruhi. I got an idea right away: vectorize it and make a wall that is a compilation of different pics of her. I did the first part, but then I lost my motivation. Yesterday, when I came home drunk, I though of a Kyon wallpaper, but I don't remember the details very good ;d The only thing I did before falling asleep was taking a screencap from episode 2 and making 4 layers of colours to the vector. Today, when I woke up I got the greatest idea of the day - to compile those two 'projects'. Well, basically it is Kyon getting a headache because of Haruhi. The title is of course the tagline from the anime.

I used only raw photoshop tools with both of the vectors I made + that screencap. Filters? Many radial blurs. And a distort for the text. Finally I made a 'border' made of the Haruhi ISM logos and blended it with everything.

I'm happy with it, but something seems off. I'm not sure, though. What would you add, or suggest to change? Post your comments, please.
