"Try checking out the first sticky topic on this thread - "Tutorials, Resources and Hosting" - it's a good place to start.also, if you find you don't like a certain design program, don't fret. there are so many different programs you can use so it's just a matter of trying them out (start with the free ones so save some cash) ^^.

"The background is an improvement and i'd say that the one with the text is the best out of the 3.as for blending the grass, i think the best way to make it look more natural is to do it by hand - it may take a while but it'll look better than some filter. :)"
