This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

He punctuated with a full stop. What if you just accepted you misread it?

Then why would he put a period instead?

What if he forgot to put a question mark :P

His comment was a statement. Not a question.

Seemed more like a rhetorical question to me.

"Once I got this game came in the mail, I was immediately going to play it but several circumstances shoved me away from playing it for several days, but now I have played it. And I must say, I was a but disappointed with ACE3 considering ACE2's superb...uh... everything. Well, not everything, mecha selection being one, and full vocals, being another, but the whole game seemed too... dry to me. Either that or it just seems like I've played ACE2 too much and I'm just bored of the series. Which I'm not, of course. All the missions really felt the same too, with the Musou like zone capturing and the boss battle right afterwards.

Well, at least ACE3 had refreshing units, and refreshing is good. I loved the inclusion of Shin Getter (Armageddon pilots) and Black Getter as well as King Gainer. And I pretty much began limiter releasing them once I got them. Geez. I still think it's awesome that they have a whole story/type-majig for the Getters and Go being completely hotblooded and yelling out GETTAAA BIIMUUUU and STONAAA SUNSHINE and GETTA TOMOHo~ and yeah, you get it.

tl;dr I love ACE2 and Getters and I sorta love ACE3."

There's much more to the story than just who Hanyuu is. Those who actually have played through most of the chapters of the games would know what I'm talking about. Higurashi is a massive story of manipulation, illusion, experimentation, revenge, and all around mystery.

Maybe I'm looking into your post too much, but you can't just summarize Higurashi in one spoiler box. And besides, that spoiler might not even be true:

"The first episode (the beginning of the explanation arc for Yakusumashi-hen) was pretty neat; a great introduction to the second season and closure to the first. It's great that the anime has a good arrangement. I can't really type much because I might spoil it for everyone, and I'll probably conclude it here. "

"That's Burning Batsu.

Project Justice, the sequel to Rival Schools was pretty damn good. It was, as far as I was playing the game, balanced (except for the few infinites here and there). Rival launching and low launching in this game were the first of its kind. Being one of the first games I've played competitively and not casually, it will always be one of the few games that I value in my collection."

"Display on stands(Action base stands for your HG, MG, SD if you have them) and if dust collects, clean it up with a cloth. Really, plastic problems don't make a bit of difference if you end up sanding and cutting the individual pieces and painting over.

Really, what's the point in Gunpla if you don't display what you have accomplished?"

"Considering that from SEED and the later series from then, the designs of the mecha have been outsourced from the fan base. Kind of disappointing, really. You'd think that there would be some logic of the evolution of Gundam technology and chronology. It kind of makes you think of what Sunrise and Bandai are shooting for..."

larukuciel is right though. If you were to convert the Universal Century time line into Anno Domini the years would be as follows:
U.C. 0001 = 2045 A.D. (Earth's population reaches 9 billion (He was wrong on this point though, I have the technical manuals to prove it))
U.C. 0079 = 2124 A.D. (Mobile Suit Gundam)
U.C. 0087 = 2132 A.D. (Zeta Gundam)
U.C. 0093 = 2143 A.D. (Char's Counterattack)
U.C. 0223 = 2268 A.D. (G-Savior)

Dnwalker, Before each respective calender change, for whatever universe you are in everything in the time line was cataloged as Anno Domini (A.D.) For Gundam 00 no such calender change ever took place. It is still a separate reality from all the other gundam universes and that includes ours as well. As you can see G-Savior, which is one of the last gundams to take place in U.C. still predates Gundam 00's 2307 A.D. time so of course there would be no mention of it in the entire U.C. time line even if the two separate realities were to somehow collide.

Hmm... I was under the impression that U.C. 0001 was at 2081 A.D. because that was when one Side 1's branches was finished. Thus the conversion of from U.C. to A.D. is by adding 2080 to the years.

I wiki'd the information and this is what it came up with:

Wikipedia

A few early unofficial sources even listed UC 0001 as 2046 AD (or even 2045, using bad math), but current official materials indicate the presence of a gap of years between the AD and UC calendar systems. Therefore the first year of the Universal Century calendar is deduced on the official Gundam website in North America as being 2053, 2081, 2109, or possibly later, meaning UC 0079 would correspond to 2131, 2159, 2187, or later.

Gap in time, eh?

I'm seeing really, more things alike to Gundam 00 with Gundam Wing. A number of pilots gaining Gundams to fight off a couple of organizations for peace. I bet we'll see some emo guy going... "*tear* Stop fighting! War isn't fun!" At least I hope that doesn't happen.

And god, G-Savior sucked. Hard. No matter how live action you want it, no matter how many forms/weapons G-Savior had, no matter how many times Tomino bashed it, it will never be good in my mind. I thank nychi for making me remember it. Thanks nychi :(

Geez. I'm pretty damn pessimistic today.

...we just don't know how far into the future...

Sorry to discredit what you just said, but,

larukuciel

The U.C. time line is just like any other time line. Most people generally agree that it the U.C. time line started at 2081 A.D. After that being the U.C. 0001 and so on. 2045 A.D. is when the colony building began when Earth's population is at 9 billion.

Evidence being the last episode of Gundam 0080. The O' Neill Cylinders support large habitats in space being made during the 2045~2081 A.D. time span.

I wasn't too specific in my last post, so allow me to elaborate. Really, I pretty much support the theory that they all take place in an alternate reality considering Gundam as a whole it's fictional work and each time line being in an alternate universe.

As all time lines seem to point to the realities we have now, I'm sure our realities have happened but the time line splits into it's according calendar. I prefer the generations to split to understand what has happened in the past. Considering I don't hear Kira, Domon, Heero, or Amuro refer to the other main characters on their ridiculous accomplishments, it's fair to say that they live in different universes. That is, unless you play any of the SRW, SRT, whatever mash-up games. Even then, SRW explains that they come from different universes.

Just like what I just explained massively, Gundam 00 will probably refer to our realities and split off to form it's own time line alternate of all other universes of Gundam."

I know that U.C. is technically still this earth but it’s an alternate version of earth. So U.C. is not the same as our calendar or reality as it is not the same as the C.E. calendar or reality...

So I think is fair to say that this new Gundam reality is our reality only that its 300 in to the future.

The U.C. time line is just like any other time line. Most people generally agree that it the U.C. time line started at 2081 A.D. After that being the U.C. 0001 and so on. 2045 A.D. is when the colony building began when Earth's population is at 9 billion.

Considering Gundam 00 is 300 years later from today, we can pretty much conclude that the U.C. time line and 00's time line are both different and alternate from our realities.

Gundam 00 had better not shell out lame stories and less than desirable designs. Since there isn't too much to go on from their main site, I'll reserve my judgement when more information becomes available.

And I was hoping for Gundam Unicorn to be animated but I guess that isn't going to be happening..."

Let's just hope it comes out good.
