"I find the idea of e second season made by the same morons disgusting
the very moment they abandoned the manga, the anime turned into a pile of bull
they did whatever they felt like
for instance, turning miria (a calm, smart, knowledgeable leader) into a total idiot who charges right into the arms of an enemy far out of her league and miraculously, nobody dies because of this bottomless stupidity
the dbz-like model of an awakened being awakening even more is uhhh...
lots of flashbacks during a fight, even more uhhh
oh and that they let priscilla go just like that was the peak of peaks

i really enjoyed most of the anime, but right after ligardes went down, the anime jumped the shark and the final episodes outweighted all the positive things about it tenfold
should they however realize their mistake and use the 7-year gap to return to the original course like ShinuMirai suggested, then we might have something to look forward to
or they might just shoot the story writer of ep25-26 and let a drunk monkey write the plot for season 2, that should work fine too..."

"Oh man, ep25 is the height of lame

first of all, since when is miria so dumb?
she knew exactly who prescilla is and what happened in the past, yet she attacked her
3 much stronger claymores miserably failed to slay her before

secondly, prescilla awakened "even more" and became the ugliest awakened being known to me
huge, bulky, unoriginal
the volcano setting is as cheesy as it gets

and thirdly, how come nobody died so far?
prescilla totally outclasses all of them, yet she doesnt kill nobody?
thats not the prescilla that killed no3-5 before without even thinking about it
additionally, she carries a monumental hate towards teresas presence inside of clare, but she doesnt seem to care too much in the end just standing there and waiting for god knows what

animes often spoil towards the end, but this forced misguided showdown might just as well be the biggest f*ck up ever"

ep24 has pretty much severed any connection to the manga storyline
seems like well have a simple flat showdown next, without any consideration of important manga elements like luciella&raphalella, riful&duph, the organisation...
all that makes up the storyline has been simply pushed aside in one single ep

should the totally unlikely scenario occure and a second season be created, wed probably get something wed rather not see at all, considering how little talent the animes authors have shown in altering the storyline so far...

"Raki, a girl... hmm, that would make "her" even weaker
at least girls are naturally more emotional, which would make "her" outbursts more acceptable
but id still dislike such a character greatly since this is claymore and not slayers
i dont hate him, the irationality of his deeds tends to make me tilt my head often tho
too irrational for his age, thus i dont care about him
charas of his type are immortal in nature anyways - dont think his sort could even die in a show like claymore, would be an interesting change tho...

either way, while reading a lucky star doujin i stumbled upon a sidenote explaining a pun, which reminded people of the good ol fact that written japanese sucks at english words just as much as the japanese themselves do
thus they spell lucky as raki
and i had to burst laughing
what if the wimps actual name is lucky? muhahaha..."

the part where he decides to ride to pieta and help clare almost made me cry with anger
how come hes still not getting this?! hes trash, getting in the way is the only thing he can accomplish so far

and since youre at ch72 id say youre reading fanmade scanlations, which seem more like lightspeed to me, double lightspeed compared to the official translation
ch73 is the last so far and scanlators sadly have no influence on the author himself"

however, i cant recall any other series that has the guts to let characters die off in such a realistic fashion
i was like "holy cow! they can actually die without any further ado, just like that, cool..."
depressing? yes
but i hate it when all the somewhat developed good guys cant die because they have been around for a while, death knows no differences, therefore death is the fairest thing in life
either way, as long as we dont get all of the original cast wiped out (clare and raki not counting), im satisfied

id say having your head pierced is a much nicer way to go than what the others got
getting "nailed" as lol3ndir fittingly described it is rather dishonouring, but looked fast
undine would surely agree, as she got her arms ripped off and was then sliced in half which seemed just as painful as dishonouring
luckily for all of them, they dont appear to feel much pain
i mean, they lose arms and receive arm thick wounds in their torso every other day and continue fighting
even the toughest normal soldier would lie down and scream in agony for hours

doesnt seem like well be seeing any of the "after 7 years" events in this season if at all
but either way, raki looks 14-16 atm, which makes him a wannabe appetizer in the claymore world
the following 7 years might as well give him what it takes to be a little bit harder to swallow and i dont call people in their 20's old

"Compared to the manga they added like 200% more gore in ep21
funny how i heard people saying before how the manga was too violent and will certainly get censored in the anime
yet here we have pieces of our poor claymore heroines flying all over the place

many scenes from the northern campaign are significantly different, including the missing match between clare and flora (how did you know that?)
however none collide with the manga so far
the team leaders are killed by ligardes/rigald/rigardo about in the same way and speed as they got smashed in the manga

just the part where raki discovers prescilla feasting on some guts is an unknown scene to me
maybe they want to patch some half baked ending together to finish by ep 26
they clearly have no space left to cover all thats left
i still hope that they asked the author about that cave scene and put it in in advance, planning a second season later
whether raki has any idea of who prescilla and easley are is an uncleared matter in the manga so far (its about 2 volumes since the end of the northern campaign)"

i dont know how much youve seen of the anime, but vol4 is where things are starting to get interesting
imho, vol1-2 are a looong useless introduction - everything begins with teresa in vol3
then again, it is true that i cant really get myself to like clare too much... i find her stereotypical, but not irritating or boring and she does develop somehow...
what gets my interest much more are charas like miria, helen, deneve, galatea and such... none of which you know yet i presume
the anime basically follows the manga like a shadow up to the northern campaign, where minor differences start to apper, the peak being the recent ep20"

bees have no ego, humans do
humans want wealth cos thats what determines their chances to find a partner, spread DNA and the most successful/common DNA determines how everything is going to be in the future (a beehive basically shares the same genome, so the individual success of its members is meanigless as they all depend on the queen - a beehive is one single organism in a way)
yet it is a fact that letting the strongest survive is not the best choice in human society either

even people from poor families can posess qualities of great value for one reason or another and thus its a logical objective to find these and refine them for greater future profit - thats what schools are for more than for the overall wisdom of the community
its cruel, but people are in fact NOT equal in value to society and capitalism shows this the best, no matter how much you might object
intelligence is proven to bring the most profit, mere workers get much less appreciation cos they generally pack less intelligence
sportsmen represent an interesting exception

aditionally, humans want safety and comfort, therefore laws that regulate capitalism just like everything else exist
cities really would become concrete jungles otherwise"

right, rosemary was no2 by then... so lets review what an awakened priscilla was like or how strong flash sword irene/ilene could be after awakening

i think ive heard that the manga is on a halt until october and well be getting the ES until then
man i cant wait to get my hands on 74>_<

its kinda nice to see how exactly the anime is following the manga so far, but the flash-flash-arm-falls-off battle design is a serious drag, even though it is very close to manga in the picture-after-picture aspect...
the animes main trump over its manga should be "animation", or at least thats what i believe

and please stop nagging on clarice
at least she knows her limits and doesnt do the fearless hero thing raki always did (for now)
surely, shes much weaker than your average claymore, but i believe that the tree incident happened due to the pills they were taking, which would explain the surprised look clarice had when it happened
you can easily forget some sideeffects in the heat of battle after a surprise attack
it can seriously confuse you if you get attacked by a large number of yoma you couldnt possibly sense
also note that even clare couldnt win against such a large group of yoma as miata and clarice encountered in the forest only a few volumes back, so clarice aint that weak for her rank actually
additionally, bout 50% of clares battle capacitie now are actually irenes/ilenes arm"

But why on earth is the "highlighted" wallpaper located closer to the bottom than to the top of the page? Underneath all the advertisements I'd like to add. Maybe I'm weird, but the only thing I regard as lower than advertisements is the utmost trash.

So OK, its above the shoutbox, but how many people do really care about whats going on in there anyways? Can't be too much, they'd get bruises on their fingers from pressing the refresh button all the time otherwise.

I'd rather like to see the highlights above the "Top Rated Today" wall section of the main page and right underneath the "Notices" on other pages. Weren't the highlights located there in the first place?

So to sum it up: I honestly wouldn't feel like my work is very appreciated if it was located beneath a banner advertising kimono wearing toilet papers and pillows in the shape of a female lap. How pitiful is that?"

i think that from before the big bang the laws of physics control everything and that everything has therefore only one possible outcome, which cant be influenced nor foreseen (unless you would know the exact location and state of every particle in the whole damn world and posess a madass powerful computer to calculate the outcome)
so what im headin to is that everyones fate is set, but nobody can possibly know what hes got comin
naturally, if you never board a plane, its rather unlikely for you to die in a plane crash
whats left is something that seems like free will, but is not truly free

bottom line: f**k destiny, youll never be able to figure it out, just live your damn pitiful life the way you see fit and have fun thinkin that its you who decides - youll remain a chunk of particles dancing according to physical laws no matter what"
