After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "The problem I've had when I tell people that I watch Anime is they don't understand what Anime truly is. I tell them it is Japanese Cartoons and they instantly close their minds. The key problem is the word "Cartoon", when many people hear that they think of something they watched every morning as kids. As fallengodofwar said you pretty much have to "tie them down" to make them open their eyes and truly understand what Anime is. Plus shows like Pokemon have ruined the name Anime in America. Then you have U.S. studios trying to bring Anime to American T.V.'s the wrong way. Take Cardcaptor Sakura for example, huge hit in Japan, but when it was brought over to the U.S. the studio totally ruined the show by changing the words, adding more emphasis to supporting characters while taking away from the main character, and even changing the title! The show didn't even make it through the first season. So in the end if I try to explain that some Anime is for adults it and if they still wont listen, then I just shrug it off and go watch an episode of NGE or something (WHEW >.<)"View
