"I do have to agree that the quality of the image is a bit low. You can either fi/repait the image, vector or recolor it. The blue color theme goes very well with the image but it seems that the contrast of the image is a bit off from the background. The image seems to bright for the background. Also the background could use some more work. You can add more stars, sparkles, swirls and other shiny elements to your background. It seems a bit too bare. You can also consider changing the positioning of the character to make it a bit more unique and different. You can position her at a slant or change the perspective.

You are definitely on the right track so do not lose hope. I remember when my walls were being rejected. It just motivated me to better my walling skills and learn more photoshop tricks. I look forward to seeing the finished product."

Highschool Sweethearts = old fashioned?

"I agree with what Byaku-sama has said earlier. I think that its rather great that you found yourself a great guy who you are in a committed relationship with. There are a lot of highschool sweethearts that do end marrying each other in the end. I thinks that they are rather lucky to have found the person they want to be with early in their lives thus able to build a strong foundation. Even if I did not end up with my highschool sweetheart we still are very good friends. Their is just something special about your highschool sweetheart that you will always treasure and remember.

My thoughts on living together is that you may want to wait for a little bit until you both get settled in college. College is a major event in the life of a young person. You certainly learn a lot and college is certainly NOT EASY. Both you and your boyfriend will have your own challenges and obstacles in college.

My family is very traditional and living together is not a welcome idea in the family. However I do think that it is a good way to get to know the person better and get a feeling of what life would be like together before you exchange your vows. "

It could also be an action of rebellion or a way to deal and cope with personal problems. Most of the time people turn to drugs and alcohol as a result of trying to cope with personal problems.

Use of these subtances are not without risks. There is always the risk of dependency occuring even if you have only tried it once. Drugs are highly addicting and addiction is hard to overcome. Smoking as we all know have serious effects on our respiratory system as well as our cardio vascular system. Smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and hypertension. Alcohol affects our liver and causes cirhosis of the liver (liver disease), it can also cause mental depression and cause fetal abnormalities for pregnant women. Drug toxicity can lead to mental retardation and worst... it can lead to death. "

"There really is no easy way to loose weight. As the saying goes "No pain, no gain." The healthy way to shed some pounds is by decreasing your caloric intake and increase your excercise. A low carbohydrate and a high protein diet should do the trick and olso don't forget to drink a minumum of 8 glasses of water per day. The more dehydrated you become the more your body tends to hold on to water and thus cause bloat specially for women. This then leads you to gain "water weight". Crash dieting is no good becuase it starves your body of the essential nutrients it needs to function normally on a daily basis. Starving yourself is not a good way to loose weight because the more you starve your body, your body adapats to it by slowing down your metabolism. A good balance of diet and excercise should get you started on shedding extra pounds."

"Makeup is just something you can put on as easily as you can take it off. It is just supposed to accentuate or bring out the beauty that you already have. Makeup can go either way as well... if done right it can make you beautifull and if it has gone haywire then it can make you look like an overdone doll.

I have to say that I am very much guilty of being a girlie girl and love makeup. I mostly use it to make myself look older as people have said I look a bit younger than my real age. Although I do have days where I absolutely don't have the desire to put on make-up."

"A lot of young girls want to look mature and older than they appear. In my case I make effort to look my age because people always think I am way younger than what I really am. I attended my brother's highschool graduation awards ceremony about a year ago and one of the parents thought I was the one graduating from highschool. Gawd... I graduated from highschool ages ago. I do have to agree that most asians appear younger than their real age. My brother was 14 years old and we went to a restaurant and the waiter gave him crayons and a kids menu. We all had a good laugh about it. "

"In all honesty kid... theres no easy way to break somebody's heart. If the person truly cares for you and likes you it is almost inevitable really that her feeling will get hurt once they are rejected. It's just a manner of being honest and nice about it. You can tell the girl that you aren't ready for a relationship at the moment and that you really enjoy their company and would like to keep your friendship. After you tell her the truth be nice about it and don't ignore her and snob her. Be friends in that way you haven't given her any reason to speak badly of you. "

"The best thing we can do to help with the increasing incidence of obesity is to educate people to help them make good healthy choices. I do think that more and more people are becoming health conscious and make an effort to make healthy lifestyle choices. It is also encouraging to see that more and more fastfood and restaurants offer healthy alternatives. There are those that blame the fast food and junk food industry for the obesity problem but in all honesty we really can't blame anyone else but ourselves since we are the ones making the decision on what to eat and how much excercise to do. But there are of course some instances where obesity is hereditary and predetermined through DNA. A balance of a healthy diet and a regular excercise regimen should do the trick. Low fat, high calorie and high protein foods are good. Excercise doesn't have to be vigorous excercise. Walking is a good excercise that uses every muscle in the body. We should all strive for healthy living!"

"Asian culture is a very broad term since Asia is composed of many countries and each country has its own distinct culture. We sopmetimes tend to use the term "Asian" too often forgetting the fact that each asian culture is unigque in itself, though some may have similarities and share the same values. Being an Asian myself I can say that I am quite proud of my asian heritage. Its the values and culture that I have learned that help me become the person that I am today.

I get along fairly well with other asians but what I love most about living in California is the diversity of people. I love having friends from different races and ethnicities. That is how I get to learn about other people's cultures.

"I watch a lot of J-horror. It's a good thing that our local blockbuster carries a lot of good titles. Ju-on was still the scariest for me and I did like "The Tale of Two Sisters". I haven't really watched a bunch of Japanese films but one of he more notable ones that I have seen is"The seven samurai"... boy was it a long movie however the story is so involving and the characters are very endearing and interesting. I like to watch foreign titles because its a good break from your usual hollywood flicks. I try to think of it as immersing myself in different cultures."

"I will be graduating on May 18 from nursing school. Yay! Hopefully I would have gotten a job before then so I wouldn't have to worry about it. But before I actually start working I still have to pass the boards and that is the challenge right there. I plan to specialize in critical care someday."

"I am sure even the most organized person have experienced some degree of procrastination. If I could avoid it all together I would but sometimes it's just unavoidable. Even when you have planned everything ahead of schedule something can always come up the last minute and throw you off your schedule. I remember in highschool I always end up doing projects the evening before the due date. I figure its nothing a bottle of red bull can't handle right?! But now that I am older I actually have learned to hate the feeling of rushing and cramming. The stress can drive you insane. I try my best to study ahead and finish my papers and projects at least a day or two before the due date. "
