Finding Out The Hard and Harsh Truth, Yes or No?

" Would you prefer to know the truth all the time? Even if it might hurt?

I think it would be nice to know the truth all the time even if it does hurt. It is as if a person becomes happier and happier but when the truth comes, it hurts more because of the huge letdown. I know my story isn't a big deal, but it might have helped me deal with it better if I had known before hand.
I have really liked this guy at school for a while. I used to talk to him all the time last year, but now, we barely see each other. Once I finally got the courage to tell him that I liked him, I decided I needed to find out if he had a girlfriend or not. I hadn't seen him with anybody for a while, so I assumed that he wasn't going out with anyone. I assumed wrong, and when I found out, it was incredibly heartbreaking because I didn't want to say anything if he was already happy with someone else. I blame myself though, for not finding out beforehand. If I had know, I probably wouldn't have been so hurt...
This is kinda different from your story, Omni, but because of this and other stuff, I feel that knowing the truth from the beginning brings a lot less pain.

Would you tell someone the truth about another person they care for even if it means it will hurt them? Or would you spare their feelings?

I believe that I would tell the people who are close to me the truth even if it hurt, because they would find out eventually anyway, and that would hurt even more. I believe that people who are close to you deserve to know the truth because they are close to you. Those people should also do the same for you. "

Last Exile: Luciola haunted by the past

"This wallpaper is pretty cool, but the extraction on Dio and Luciola (big ones) is pretty poor. Esp on Dio's fingers...it looks a little off to me. When I try to reinforce lines, I try to just darken the line that was already there because the pencil tool creates sort of a pixely look that I don't like.

Also, the background is just too plain. It's just a color...which make this look like two scans pasted together. Since the scan of big Dio and Luciola is kinda grainy, maybe the background should be as well. The gray is nice, but is should have more depth. Try something like one of their vanships or something. Just make it grainyish like the scan.

Little Dio and Luciola need some color. They don't look very good black and white. Faded is good, but not too much.

The text is a good idea, but the font you used isn't very good. Also, the one in the background should be a lower opacity so you can see the darker one better. Try a different font and that should be good.

The logo for Last exile is great, but it needs to be a little cleaner. It looks grayish.

"Try and re-cg the scan (just the parts needed) or use the clone stamp tool in photoshop. There also needs to be more light from the lamp and hence, around chii. try to blend from the light from the lamp to the dark. Try a moon and maybe some clouds and/or stars or something.

There is also a better version of this scan in AP's scan gallery. It's called night chii and it's on page 5 of the scans. Get it and that might help."

"The realistic background doesn't look right with the very anime style Shinobu and Naru. Try messing with filters on the stock photo. Color can be a good thing. Sepia is a good idea, but it doesn't look all that great here. Also because of the sepia, the text is hard to read. It is also too big. The scan is wonderful and I hope this helps! "

"Very cool idea but Ishida's neck's lines look a little blurry and the extraction from the loveless scan is pretty bad, especially on the left side. Ishida's body is also missing some lines (on the left side of the blue shirt on the bottom) and maybe the scan needs a little cleaning up? Also, the whole brown background thing looks a little weird. You should leave it in color, but have the colors be muted (?) like the colors on the scan. Also, the little border looks funky because I thought you were trying to make him look like he was in that room with everybody else. On the right side of the wall, someone's head is cut off. Looks weird. Either try and fit his head in by messing with the scan(s) a little or just re-cg him out. Love the flower on him though! x_x makes me laugh...haha! great idea and I hope at least some of this helps..."

"The character extraction is very ickyish. I like the grass, but should it stick up a little (to give it more depth). Right now it looks as if she is on top of a picture of grass. I like the brighter grass a bit better than the one with the moon though. The sparkles look off now too (a bit too dark to be sparkles). The brightness suits this scan so try not use the night scene. Try a sunny day instead, and maybe she is lying by a tree or something...(stock photos help with this) Hope this helps!"

"The hair fades too much and the text looks alittle weird. The background looks a bit too sharp(?) compared to the softness of the scan. Maybe soften it up a bit."

"I think the lines on Kyo are bit too jagged. Try and smooth them out maybe. Also, since the moon is so bright, maybe you should brighten up Kyo a little as well, maybe mess with the shadows on his face."

"The idea is nice, but you need a better scan because it was cut off on the right. The background is also nice but it just looks like it was colorized pink. I think it needs to be the original (stock photo?) so its not completely pink. The extraction needs to be a little better and maybe be vectored. Your name sticks out a bunch as well. By the way, for the thumbnails, you go to image shack (imageshack.us) and upload your images. Then a screen comes up with a bunch of ways to link to your uploaded picture. 2 of them are thumbnails (the 2nd and 3rd ones).
