This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"well, yeah, since they are known for that.
Yes, the japanese consider that term as racially discriminating. it is racism to them when you say "jap"
back on topic, i have installed and tried AppLocale. Worked like a charm.

Can kids learn values from watching ANIME?
2 years 5 days ago
"It's a matter of looking into the story a little bit more. definitely, you will learn different things, be it in anime and other forms of entertainment.the question is, are these values good? my answer, not all the time. but definitely all of them have good things to learn. it just depends on the current predicament you are in."

End of Tenjou Tenge

"Anyone who watched the anime will definitely say the same. off course you have to read the manga to get ther rest of the story.this is not the first time this ever happened in anime. most anime titles are continued on their manga counterparts. yeah, like flame of recca having an entirely different story than that of the series, but that is another story.
you can get the ten-ten manga from stoptazmo. you can also check out the sites at MangaPaper."

Japan in trouble
2 years 6 days ago
"Haven't visited the forums in a while due to lack of good discussion. good thing you brought up something like this =)First, let me give you some of the things i have learned about their sociology for the past 10 years. the youngsters in japan get exposed to sex at an early age. i read in one survey 1 and a half years ago that a regular junior high school female has an average of five sex friends. yes! the sex culture is more prominent in the female population. though i have not personally confirmed the statistical speculation, but a friend of mine who went there and stayed for a few years. he also mentioned that if you date a japanese female, once she knows you are a filipino, she will cling to you like you are the king and she's the only concubine. to support that fact, my uncle who stayed and wored in japan for more that 10 years married a japanese woman. guess what? the my new japanese aunt is so lovey-dovey with my uncle that she doesn't wanna let go.
my analysis: japanese women are serious when it comes to serious relationships. maybe it's because of their male-dominant culture that women get left out. in the process, the women somewhat dignify themselves by hunting boys. also one of the few reasons why there are many young pron stars there. how i wish i live there... XD
seriously, about the article, i do not think japan's economy will fall simply because of the so-called parasite singles. accepting immigrants would be another story. I don't think that's gonna be easy either. My uncle and friend only got their because they work in a japanese firm here in the philippines. well yeah! they don't even do outsourcing, for goodness sake!
my two cents... =)"

Dual Core Processors

"I don't think there's an automatic setting for that. but it would be very very convenient if that is the case. that is definitely one feature where you can say that dual cores are effectively utilized in XP."View
Dual Core Processors

"The thing about having xp control dual core procs is to have each process assigned to a core. say this program will use core 1 while another, use core 2. i am not sure how that is set up but i've heard from my friend who uses a pentium d who can actually pull this off. however, it just ends there. basically, unless you're on vista, your dual core procs are a bit ineffectively utilized."View

"Naughty shibuyabashi collector =)yeah, there copuld be some issues with non-unicode characters. can also be annoying when you set them to japanese in the regional and language options for xp as this turns the backslashes to yens.
i use nero and i also get the issue. what i normally is rename them in romaji, but that is time consuming.
applocale also works with the coding, as a friend of mine uses that.
i have tried burning with alcohol 120% and it burned non-unicode characters without problems."

how to make my PC fast..
2 years 6 days ago
"Leaving the situation as is, without tweaking the vm or anything of the same sort, i would suggest you check the basics first before going through them. might save time as well.check your hdd space. ideal disk space, as per defrag recommendations, should be at least 15% free.
check your startup programs. there might be running programs when you boot windows that you might want to disable, if not uninstall.
run a full spyware and virus scan. everybody knows that spyware and viruses can degrade performance significantly.
and if all else fails, i suggest you backup, reformat and reinstall. we all know that windows has its issues. i reformat once every 3 months as a maintenance procedure, but i do not specifically recommend that for novices. best interval is every 6 months. never had problems with slowdown or anything related to performance."
