This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

What's the most "Creepy" anime in your opinion?
2 years 2 months ago
"Elfen Lied was SO MUCH LOVE. Gah, one of my favorites despite the overwhelming amount of gore. I don't think it was the gore that was "creepy," to me it's how the series seemed so melocholy in a way with mysterious storytelling that makes it a bit spooky yet intriguing to watch, haha.Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni freaked me out in the first arc (Rena door shaking/watching Keichi from his room, GAH). But after that, the other arcs overused the whole face distortion deal that it became more hilarious than scary. Haven't been that impressed with the series after the first arc, but it's still good for a horror/mystery series.
Hm.. I guess I don't watch enough horror..."

2 years 2 months ago
" Katekyo Hitman Reborn! - The storyline is awesome and I ADORE the character designs.Hunter x Hunter - Just something I've been hooked on since... forever, roflmao.
BLEACH - Shounen series with a lot of action and hot guys, yes.
Peacemaker Kurogane - Art AMAZING, storyline AWESOME. Can't get enough, haha.
Aishiteru ze Baby - I'm a sucker for cute, sappy shoujo manga really.
Meh, there's a lot more like Ouran, Hana Kimi, K2, Death Note, NANA, Hana Yori Dango, D. Grayman, etc. etc. but I'm too lazy to list reason why for them all, haha."

"I think you did great with the dress details - in fact, it's my favorite part of the picture. The background is nicely done and the shading is excellent. A few things I think you can work on are facial structure - it looks good overall, but Shinji's head looks a little distorted; when the ear is too far back in the head, his neck will become a wider. Hope you didn't mind me saying :O But even so, I think you did a great job! And yes, don't try the tape-lamenating method again, haha (I've ruined a piece or two like that before as well, rofl)."View

"I think the layout is rather good already, actually. i'ts not necessarily confusing, but it lacks a certain "focus" like... i don't know where to begin to look when i see the image. i think characters being cut off by border is sometimes better than having the entire body - a crop can sometimes make the character seem in motion rather than just a still pose. SHUFFLE!

"I finished watching SHUFFLE! and I thought it was a pretty good series - it definitely isn't one of my favorites, but the storyline and characters are very intriguing. It's not just any average light-hearted harem series, it also has dark themes (box-cutter Kaede! -runs-) and serious moments that makes SHUFFLE! really stand out. Plus, I was happy with who Rin ended up with, muhaha ^o^v"View
