After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

i have a heavy background in design, so i can tell when simple works and doesn't. and honestly, it's pretty obvious to anyone when simple is working or not. we're not disallowing all simple walls, just lazy ones, and ones that are badly designed. simplicity can be amazing, but it needs to be used correctly. we're not allowing the ones that are NOT well done.


I have a background in design as well (as if it should matter that much) and I still disagree.
All I really see going on here are mods resisting this new and "unrespectable" fad in wallpapers.

Back when making iPod walls were all the rage, mods were against that too. Long ago, Kalico was the one who told me that iPod walls were "unoriginal" and didn't deserve their own category when I suggested creating a separate gallery for them. That same Kalico is the one who highlighted an iPod wall less than 3 weeks ago -- because clearly he/she has a new fad to stomp on these days, and everything said about that other fad a couples months ago has been rescinded.

Just let simple wallpapers be. They're really not hurting anyone.

"I think this new rule is ridiculous.
Just because something is simple doesn't mean it has less artistic value than a more "complex" work. There is no standard measurement for how much thought or "hard work" is put into a wall. Less can be more, and in many cases simpler is beautiful."
