This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Well there's two types of easy;1. Easy for a beginner.
2. Easy for a user.
So I guess it can be newbie friendly but when you know your way around a linux system doing configuration can be a bothersome task."

"Well, I don't get your "by tracing them like shapes" thing but I have to remake it from scratch since my .xcf (GIMP's version of .psd ;P) got toasted. So I'm going to install inkscape and remake it from the same picture but now from my own screencap which is a lot larger and easier to work with. If you got some tutorial or something for me to read on whatever you meant with "by tracing them like shapes" pleaser share it with me asap! And I'm home from the northern parts of sweden and back in my warmer home in Uppsala."View

"Now that I have taken a look at the larger images I must say that the first one fits best with "blade of the immortal"'s theme. You just need to tinker a bit with the stock(?) so it blends in with the sketchy scan like "botim" is supposed to be. Meh, hope I got you something to work with! ;D"View

"Even though it might not look like it I'm workin' on it! I have taken care of the face shadows as in that one around his nose and the one around the upper neck. I darkened the "light" shadow a bit and added a darker one. As for the outlines I'm pretty bothered by them as well but damn it sure is some bothersome work remaking them from scratch! -.- Well, I'll give it a try anyways, if it goes well I'll finnish that and stick with it, but if it gets too bothersome (read "if I get too lazy") I'll stick with the old lines. As for the un-spiky hair I just noticed it as well so I'm working on that too. Expect a snapshot soon!"View
