"I don't like the ending of Blood+, Wolf's Rain, and especially Gundam Seed Destiny! WTF was Fukuda thinking? It's almost the exact same ending as Seed!
I like the ending of Evangelion though. It leaves us with many questions...which is why they are making Rebuild of Evangelion. Still, this series is great by itself."

"My parents thought I was wierd when I was watching the End of Evangelion. I can understand though because of the events occuring...you wouldn't understand a thing when you haven't watch all of the episodes. Plus, they got creeped out when they were doing that sacrifice ritual thingy. I thought the whole thing was cool, but I don't think I can ever convince them to appreciate this anime more.
Also, my parents think I'm a hentai because I watch Gintama and Crayon Shinchan...why why why...

"I liked Spirited Away too, but my favorite still remains as Princess Mononoke. I love the OST of PM too. I can listen to the main theme forever!

What is the best final fight scene you have ever seen?

"The most exciting fighting scenes are from the final episodes of Gundam Seed and Destiny. I just love mecha! The beams and missiles flying around and gundams blasting out to space...I can go on forever.
The end of Wolf's Rain was also good too."

"I reccomend:
Neon Genesis Evangelion <---an amazing series...just amazing...
Naruto <---an essential anime that most people watch
Bleach <---also a essential anime
Gundam Seed/ Destiny <---VERY popular in Japan
Blood+ <---rather violent, but the storyline is very good and original
Code Geass <---pretty new. A carbon copy of the gundam series, but it's really good.
xxxHOliC <---a very unique anime with lots of comedy

"I prefer the manga over the anime, but I have to say that the manga is a bit more gory with all the blood and flesh flying all of the place during the wars and fights. The story is more deep too, but I haven't been reading it these days because...Roy isn't in any of the chapters lately! T.T I have all of the volumes too 1~16? I think or whichever is the recent one."

"The hardest game I have ever played is Megaman X. Some of the bosses are INSANE! Especially in the beginning when you don't have any armor or element weapons. One shot and KABOOM! So I always keep 9 lives with me just in case."

Why do great anime falter in America?

"I think it's because the standards of what's appropriate and what's not appropriate is different between America and Japan. Japanese people don't mind nudity as much which becomes a problem here in America. Parents sue companies for showing even silhouettes of nudity or a second of it. Generally, kiddy shows like Pokemon and Digimon aren't that much oriented in that stuff. A great example is Crayon Shinchan (lol I refer to this anime so often, sorry). It actually shows Shinchan's penis, butt, etc. but it's a classic(and still going on for...15years?) and it's mainly aimed for little kids in Japan. Everyone knows that anime over there.

Nudity is one thing, but religion is a larger issue. I recently was looking through an Evangelion forum and it had a link to this christian site that posted bad things about it. One of the posts from a "concerned mother" said that her 16 year old son attempted to commit suicide because of the biblical references in Evangelion and that it was Satan's fault her son watched the anime(no offence, but WTF?) The reason this kind of problem didn't occur in Japan because the amount of christians are very small since the majority are shinto or budda. This kind of conflict is present in many other animes too."

"Yaoi, yuri, hentai, and anything of that nature=gross=stay away from them at all costs
Although, I watch Crayon Shinchan if that counts as one of those categories.
Shoujo tends to annoy me since it's all sparkling eyes, skinny people, and cheezy lines, but I don't mind a little romance like the gundam series."
