This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Okay, thank you for what you have said.. actually I did everything by hand :P I just erased the outlines and did it all by hand.. I know its the long way and probably the most horrible way.. but it was the first ideas that I had... Gimp has masking and all of that but the commands are diffrent and that made it really hard for me to figure out... I'll probably go back and try to figure it out...And Paint.net is an open source painter program... It is based from some college and it allows n\me to do most of the painter things that I can't figure out in Gimp..
Thank you again for the ideas... abck to the proverbial grinder :D"

"Okay everyone this is my first attempt at this, so please don't be too harsh... I would appreciate any constructive criticism that anyone would share... This work is not done, and I'm showing it in process so someone might be able to help me find an easier way to do these things :Dthat's the original scan...
That's what I have done so far...
I use GimpShop and Paint.net to do these things... and unfortunately it is tougher than I thought it would be :P Hopefully someone is willing to help :D

"Hola all,I stubled upon your small niche of the internet not to long ago, and have suddenly been struck by the bug to make a contribution.. I do not promise that my first few submissions will be good, but hey.. I'll try :P Feel free to drop me a line, and start up any kind of conversation.. I will try and write back...
For some background info... I'm an american soldier currently in Iraq, I have to say I don't agree wiht the war, but I have to be here anyways... I'm married with three great boys, that I miss too much... I've been an anime freak since 99 (not sure I rate Otaku yet) and just recently found the joys of Manga too... I hope to find friendly people and fun times...
