After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

A Question About Wallpaper Originality
4 months 3 weeks ago
"As the description says, I'm currently working on a wallpaper which is essentially a re-work of an old wallpaper I submitted to AP some time ago.Link 1: http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/wallpapers/nova-kun/item95050/
Link 2: http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/wallpapers/comments/item96894
To cut a long story short, I took a look through my works some time ago and realised that the original "Memories of a Childhood" wasn't up to scratch. So I started it from scratch but maintained one very major element in the wallpaper, the Polaroids.
Now the crux of the matter, to mis-quote the FAQ a bit,
The context of the quote is understandable if the source was ripped from another guy but what if the original source is mine? To my knowledge from randomly surfing artist galleries, submitting two versions of the same wall has not been done. So would it be fine if I upload both walls or would it be better if I just deleted the old one and replaced it with a new one?
Side-note: I was deleting an older version of the re-work in SZ when I think I accidentally submitted it to the approval queue yesterday. And today, I neither see it in the gallery nor received a wallpaper rejection notice which I believe I should and the old version is no longer in SZ, so I'm not entirely sure what to make of all that."

"Another thing about sessions, is it possible such that full viewing sessions does not contribute to the total download limit coz after I go through the sessions, I move to the gallery and spot an awesome wallpaper I want to download only to realise that I hit my daily download limit (I'm pretty sure it's because of the sessions since that was the first gallery pic I full viewed)"View

"I made the suggestion for session zero new revision "bumping" in another topic. I really don't want to copy the whole post here since it's VERY lengthy. So a link to the post here"View
Suggestion To Improve Session Zero
11 months 1 week ago
"Ok...I'm an avid participant of the session zero section (the wallpaper section, not the forum section) and one thing I noticed could be a problem is that older sessions get buried even though they are being updated. To explain my case a bit more, I take the example of "IDespair" by DjSidux which is currently in session zero. At the time of writing, the wallpaper is written to be done "1 week 19 hours ago" even though she submitted a 6th revision 2 days 21 hours ago.
Now the problem, even though the session is being relatively actively revised, it is buried on page 4 of session zero. I strongly believe that people tend to not dig so far into session zero and even for those who do, would-be commentators wouldn't know if a session is updated unless the change is blatantly shown in the thumbnail. The following result is that the wallpaper doesn't get much attention which then stagnates the progress of the session and in effect defeats the purpose of session zero.
One way people get around this problem is to just submit a new session zero. However, this effectively kills all progressive comments made by commentators and also does not reflect the progress of the wallpaper. From a technical point of view, it is also a waste of bandwidth and storage space and defeats the purpose of having the "upload new revision" button in the first place.
Now the suggestion. What could be done is to "bump" a session when a new revision is uploaded, much like how a new post would "bump" a particular topic to the top of the thread in most forums. That way, members who are keeping track of a session would know when it is updated and other commentators can comment on the newly revised wall since it gets more attention being on the top page.
A short review of the downsides of such implementation could be that the older revisions would cease-to-exist. But I highly doubt other members who not as particular as me wouldn't bother themselves to dig into session zero just to see an older revision. An alternative suggestion is to upload sort of a "revision history" so commentators can see the progress and changes made to a wallpaper and make comparisons, maybe even comment on bringing back a past feature of session which was removed in a later revision. Another plus side is that commentators also get to see the progress of the waller him/herself which might help commentators aid in the general improvement of the waller and not just the wallpaper.
Another downside is that a person could abuse the "bump" system so that a wall receives more and in effect, takes attention away from other newer and unrevised sessions. In that case, you could have rules implemented regarding how often a new revision can be uploaded, which also would help in possible flooding situations; and maybe have a mod oversee that sufficient changes have been made before the new revision is upload (I'm quite against this suggestion though, as it would probably waste the mod's time and create problems when a mod rejects a new revision even though to the disagreement of the submitter of the revision...nevertheless it is a suggestion anyhow)
Side note: Ya, I tend to write like this. Bad habit. Never really could make the way I write any less official when it's regarding these kind of things. And ya, I'm obsessive and long-winded so the stuff I write tend to get very, VERY long."
