FLAC vs mp3 (at 320Kbps)

"I think FLAC would benefit the most if you have a dedicated DAC, amp, and high-grade headphones.

I am trying to sell my computer sound card right now and go on an external DAC/AMP and headphone, to see how it is.

For portable use 320kbps MP3 is more than sufficient... and with the music we listen to, I think it is unnecessary :D - I think FLAC is beneficial for classical where you have subtleties which need to be heard."

"Actually yeah since in manga the series does take a ton of twists and turns and gets quite insane... which makes it THAT damn good - the first half of the series is nothing. I don't know of the anime will portray the intelligence and thinking that the characters will brew up well enough like the manga did.

Anyway, as for the OP and ed... I dug a bit more into the ED and I sort of found some interesting stuff on youtube... and then I came to appreciate the ED more. (the OP sux, haha) You guys should check it out."

Yeah the new death note OP sucks. No offense to the people that like it.
I listen quite a bit of metal myself (stuff like dragonforce, rhapsody of fire, kamelot, nightwish etc) but this is just too much.

Agreed.. a bit overboard with the OP... the first time I heard it I really couldn't call it music. And why the heck is there so much swearing, haha.

The ED is alright though... a lot more decent than the OP. "

Taking a look at APv4 and APv5 makes this look like a downgrade, from a neutral standpoint.

Interesting design, but I'm going to have to get used to it. And something seems wrong with the tags too - the font is so huge on some for some reason.

Oh, and what is the font used for the banner "animepaper five"?

And one more thing: You guys ought to iron out the bugs in AP v4 before going for a new layout at all.. when you delete a wall or favourites, the # count still remains as the original. So you can have like 1 current favourite, but it'll say like 100 you have favourited."

"All I've got to say is that it's quite simple and well done.

What's bugging me is the artifact on the bottom left of his jacket - something white there, and you carried that onto the shadow as well. Might want to fix that.

And as Beckor pointed out, perhaps some leveling to suit the BG brightness will turn out a better result. Or heck, if you vectored Ed, this'll be amazing, but I suck at vectoring, so I have no say on that.

"It all depends on the screener who's checking your wall before admitting it into the gallery. Apparently I've seen some works that have much more terrible extraction than yours which made it into the gallery.

But yeah, it needs to suit the lighting from your stock a bit more, Tezuka stands out a bit."

"The character is fine. After all, if people don't like how it looks, it's not your problem, so don't worry.

What I'd worry about is the matrix sorta looking texture on top of the whole wallpaper. I am sure it'd look a lot more pleasant without it, since it will bring focus to the characters a tad bit more effectively. Most importantly - it TOTALLY destroys the scan. (in my opinion)

Perhaps you can add some faded background or something to it rather than using the vertical lines.

As for the spiral text, it is hard to read as pointed out by another user above, but it's up to you.

"You can use the "simple" idea of a wallpaper, but in my opinion, it only works well with a vectored scan. Otherwise a creative background or scenery usually does the job for regular scans.

Since I suck at vectoring, I can't give you any tips on that. Good luck with your wall!"
