After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. "My sister and I are six years apart too... she's a goat and I'm an Ox and we fight all the time. Our personalities are completely different. We're almost exact opposites. She's better at math, which I hate and I'm better at English and writing, which she does badly in. We fight about stupid things mostly but we get really heated about it. "I definitely think any job where you have to work with human waste is horrible. Human waste is THE dirtiest, germiest thing on the planet.I think I would only take one of the jobs you listed if 1. It paid REALLY well, 2. It included really good benefits like health care, vacation time, whatever, 3. The coworkers were really amazing and nice people to work with, and 4. I was really desperate. "Basically, the issue with the Westboro Baptist Church, and Al Quaeda, and the crusades, is that these people are saying that they are doing things "in the name of god," and that makes god and religion look really bad sometimes. Religion frankly makes me uncomfortable, because there are so many people who insist that what THEIR religion says is right, and they want to get in your face about it and start wars over it. I absolutely agree with Ryuu when they said they hate religion. ANYTHING can be called a religion now. Look at the scientologists who got their religion from a sci-fi book. And that's exactly the problem, everyone claiming that the way they think about god is a religion and should be respected and valued above all others. I'm not saying that everyone is like that, but there are too many that are, and unfortunately they give everyone a bad name. I find it easier to just be wary of everything and everybody that uses god's name to justify actions."View

And I totally agree. The storyline is getting confusing, and I think it's just being drawn out and complicated to make the manga longer than it needs to be. That's why I stopped reading X/1999 after like the 12th volume. It just go to be too complicated, and too much of the one character being whiny and emo all the time."

"I didn't like the first chapter when I read it in Shojo Beat, but when I was at work I needed something to read on my break, so I grabbed it and I really liked it. I like how the main character (forget her name, sorry) is so intense about what she wants to do. And I like the fact that although she begins acting for revenge, she seems to be realizing as she goes that she really enjoys doing it. It's a good read."View

"I would guess you would have to start out as an underling doing internships or something. There are not a lot of colleges that offer "Animation" as a major. It's sort of just something you have to learn as you go I think. I used to want to work for Disney. Then Michael Eisner went and closed the traditional animation feature film department and I lost faith in the company altogether. I think FIT in New York City has some kind of animation minor. I was looking into that school before I decided to major in Creative Writing instead."View

"I've heard from people who have played the PS3. The only thing new and special about it is that it has improved graphics. The Wii though, has motion sensor controls, and speakers on the controls (so when Link shoots an arrow, you hear the string of the bow on your controller, and then you hear the arrow being shot as the sound travels from the controller speaker to the tv speakers). You can also use the Wii's wireless connection to download all the old Nintendo games (except for GameCube ones) onto your console. Plus, it's only $250. The new PS3 makes no sense to me."View

"Well, to be frank, men are raped all the time. I don't think it's a question of "if" men get raped in prison, I think we can just say "men get raped in prison." Especially the ones who are in a long-term prison, and especially if the man is slightly feminine looking. Prison rape is never prosecuted though, mostly because the men are too embarrassed to say anything, and also because if they do say something, it will only be worse for them with the other inmates.That said, the reason women make such a big deal about being raped is because nine times out of ten, a woman isn't strong enough to defend herself against a would-be rapist, so the only defense a woman has is to take legal action. Outside of prison cases, it's rare for a man to be raped because they are strong enough to defend themselves. That's why there IS, a lower possibility for women to rape men. Also, when women are raped by a man, most of the time the crime is motivated by lust- lust for violence, lust for a feeling of power, and lust for the act itself. For a woman to rape a man, she would either have to be really desperate and skanky (in the case of the office rape), or she would do it for revenge of some kind.
Basically, people make a bigger deal about women getting raped because of the frequency of occurance, and because of the fact that it's harder for a woman to defend herself. No offence, but I think anyone who says otherwise is just reading into the equality idea too much. Men and women are different. They're supposed to be different. You can't change that."

"It annoys me that TIME magazine named YouTube the best invention this year over the hydrogen powered car. It's like, the hydrogen powered car could possibly free us from dependence on fossil fuels, and YouTube frees us from dependence on... buying things legally? setting up our VCRs to tape TV shows? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against YouTube, I just think the hydrogen car is a bit more important than watching stupid mindless videos uploaded by middle-schoolers who have too much time on their hands."View

"Well, they can't be charged with voluntary manslaughter because "manslaughter" means the victim has died. I think the reason they only got 60 days in juvie is because they planned a prank to freak people out. They were probably too stupid to realize, "oh wait, someone might get hurt." Granted, stupidity shouldn't be rewarded, but since they weren't actively trying to kill someone, the 60 days makes sense. The part that bugged me the most was that the judge suspended the sentence until the end of football season. I'm sure it was one of those, "his career is going to be in football, if he misses the season it ruins his life." I say if you choose to do something stupid, you better be prepared to live with the consequences. All of them, for however long they keep coming"View

Small plane slammed into a 50-story skyscraper

"I think we can rule out terrorism. It was a small plane that basically disintigrated on impact. The body of it was a composite, so the metal pieces that didn't burn up just fell to the sidewalk below. Plus, the building that it crashed into was an apartment building, not a government office building or anything. None of the residents were even hurt, as far as I've heard. If it was terrorism the terrorist would have used a bigger plane, crashed it into a more famous building, and made sure that a lot more people die. Sometimes planes just crash. It's just that after 9/11 every single plane crash gets people in a fit. Especially if it crashes anywhere near NYC."View

"I know what you mean. Manga and anime are so good at portraying all the extreme highs and extreme lows in life. They can evoke really strong emotions from us, which is exactly what the creators are trying to do. People are attracted to really strong emotions because they make us FEEL. They remind us that we're alive. What you have to remember is that life is not always going to make you ecstactically happy or immensly sad. Most of life is in betweens. It's okay to be just content. Discussions with many pages

"Sometimes (okay, most of the time) I avoid posting in discussions that already have many pages of replies. When I post in a discussion, I like to read everyone's replies before hand so that I'm not just posting the same thing that someone else has already said, because that can be boring and repetitive and kind of rude. I think it shows that you don't care enough about the discussion to read what is actually being discussed.I think on this forum sometimes it's hard to post replies because there can only be one thread about any given topic at a time. This means that discussions go to 8, 10, 12, 18 pages sometimes, which makes it hard to read all the replies. I think in cases like this people don't read the replies and that leads to people posting the same things over and over in the discussion. Has this problem occured to anyone else? Does anyone else feel like sometimes it's hard to post new and interesting things, and to have in-depth discussions about things here?"

"Well, I think our brains all tend to focus on different aspects of a thing (like a person's face), so one person might look at a guy and say "oh, he has dark eyebrows" while another person doesn't see the eyebrows because they are looking at the guy's big mouth. I don't think it's that we see the face differently, I think it's that our brains interepret the face differently.There's also the issue of taste where being attracted to a person is concerned. Each person has a bit different opinion on what is attractive, so while one person says a guy is good looking, another might say he's butt-ugly. It's not necessarily that they see the guy differently, they just are attracted to different things."

"Yeah, I used to collect Beanie Babies, but I didn't have a lot of money so I didn't get a lot of them- only about 50.Right now though, I'm really into My Little Ponies. I went and dug my old ones out of the garage sale stuff, and I've been telling everyone I know that if they have old ones they don't want I'll take them. They were one of my favorite toys as a kid, and one of my favorite shows too, so collecting them now brings me back to my child hood... not that I'm that old, but at 20, 15 years ago feels like a long time."

"Yay! More Tsubasa/xxx Holic cosplayers! I actually think I'm more excited about cosplaying than I am about the rest of the con. This'll be my first time cosplaying so it'll be interesting. Is the Marriott the one right across from the con center? Cuz I think that might be where I'm staying with my friends too.
And you know, it makes me wonder what regular people who live in that area must think of all the people walking around in cosplay..."

"*sigh* The world is so messed up at the moment that sometimes I think it would be better if all life was wiped off the face of the earth and things started all over again. Who's to say it hasn't happened before?But really, we're all gonna die eventually anyway, so what's the point in worrying about it? If you get worried about how soon "the end" is coming, then just make sure you do all the things today that you want to do so you don't die with any regrets.
Sorry, but when I start thinking about the end of the world and everything that's messed up with society right now it makes me really tired and pessimistic. Kinda like if it's gonna end might as well get it over with, you know?"
