"Well I see the colors of your wallpaper and maybe they're a little palid or off (or maybe it needs level correction).

Another thing I was thinking to improve the image, is to strong the line art of your scan (say by 2-3 pixels..) and maybe if you use some shadows (or shadow effect).

Its only a suggestion. I hopes it helps.

What are you talking about Akiranyo?? Obviously the image is based in Yoshika from Strike Witches... (Or am I wrong??).

Well, my only suggestion is to get better your image (or if you consider to use a vectorized scan...). I like the original art and the main idea, you only need to improve it.

"Nekonohana, try to match your personal animepaper signature with the signature of the wallpapers you submit (this will show you are the real maker of the wallp). Also, try to fix the size of the wallpapers you submit.

As a sugestion, try to vectorize the scan and give it more vivid colors.

The image is very blurry and out of focus. Try to put the character image in a different layer (in your favorite image editing software).. Another observation, I like the blue colors and tones of the wallpaper, but I think it may be too saturated.

"I like the composition of the wallpaper, but i think im agree with the color of it. Using diferent tones might help improve the wallp. I would say to invert the lower skulls (to match with the ones upper), but its up to you...

"MMMmmm, Ok, lets see... I like the originality of this wallpaper. I can say you put a lot of effort and emotion when doing it, but I think you abuse a lot of the blur brush (in the ears and in the back).

I suposse you did well for the clouds, but in this way the extraction lacks quality. Probably the use of layers could help a little.

"I like the wallpaper. The way you colored it its cool. My only suggestion its about the background (as Akiranyo said) but I cant think in another good idea for the background for this wallpaper (sometimes simple things do the trick...)

"I think the background might need more work, because i feel it a little too simple. Just a gray background and a line in between dont work for me. I notice you put some kind of brushes. Maybe if you try to change the background and get familiar with brushes in photoshop (or some fractals maybe)

The only difference I can notice between your two wallpapers are the text position and font style. I like both of them, but i think the text its a little tiny. Probably a little more big and in another position (somewhere you can read it well and more noticeable perhaps..)

"I think the background might need more work. The colors are ok but I think the background its a little simple. The text doesnt look good (probably because Haruhi is in top and its all hidden. If its your intent to put Haruhi's name in the wallpaper I think you shouldnt hide it.

The circle brushes are ok but they are out of contrast with the colors in the background (probably if you use some fractal brushes mixed with the circles...)

"The wallpaper looks nice but a little blurry (in the edges of the scan). The background is quite good but it has higher possibilities for something more.

"Ok. I will give you my suggestions for your wallpaper...
Maybe you could improve the background. The wood sticks and floor maybe more realistic. Have you considered using a texture of wood (probably with a texture will work and look better).
The grass could be also more real, using brushes (in photoshop) maybe or some grass photorealistic picture.

Now with Edward, I like the clothes coloring style, but the hair lines (im not sure if is a clean vector or a vector of all) looks a little too heavy (for the hair). And try to use some shadows (dark effects) in the coat.

Well thats my suggestions, I hope it helps you improving your FMA wallpaper. Remember this is your wallpaper and it should be the way you feel more comfortable with.
I like a lot FMA and always look forward for cool wallpapers and images.

"I like the brown-cromatic effect you tried to do (almost like sepia) and some of the brushes, but not all of them..

My suggestion for this wallpaper is to improve more the tones with the wallpaper, to give the impression of multiple layers (because it looks like a plain brown image with brushes all over...). You could do it giving more brown color to some "sections" or layers of the wallpaper and droping some tones in other areas.

Also, I dont think the black spot looks good...

"My comment is about the stars... In my opinion they dont look good (probably they seems to plain for my taste) and the background its quite enough. Also the white ellipse in the center it looks a little blurry in contrast with the rest of the wallpaper and the logo inside the ellipse looks like it need a little more work.

Another issue i see its about the shadows... I mean, if the pink rabbits have a shadow in the white ellipse why Chii doesnt have a shadow beneath??
