hi there...
first you need to the saturation of the background.. cause the colors are to bright and they don't match with the ones on the scan.
the flowers look nice... but the grass.. mmm if you take a look at the grass that goes over the characters you will notice that it looks jagged...
I think you should work some more with that grass... maybe you can try to add some grass brushes in some parts of the background.

Yes, I've heard from friends about how good it is. ^^; But I try to avoid shows like that because my life is sad enough. ^^; (don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's not nearly as sad as the main character, but still...) I try not to watch anything that adds to my sadness. Owo;

"PS2 because I play a lot of RPG...
FF and Xenosaga series are all on PS2.
Not to mention Star Ocean.

Also I don't like XBOX because I'm morally against MS...

Can Animation Evolve?

While it was nice to see the history of animation I think that was rather irrelevant.

First, anime are always good for the first few episodes because they want to grab your attention, then when the quality decrease they'd hope you're hooked on to the story and care less about the actual...well, animation.

As a rule of thumb, longer anime tends to have the worst quality. Not that short ones can't deteriorate either...budget is certainly one thing. Another is time. Realistically speaking it is really hard to make one episode every week. So in the end, it's hard to keep up. As a result many companies outsource the animation drawing to other counties that...doesn't have quite the same quality.

One a bright side (not sure how bright it is) for important scenes in the anime, the creators usually spend more time to make it right."

"I bought the novel sometime ago. It's supposed to have an alternate ending to the manga so I bought it.

Since in the manga she went with the glasses guy (forgot english name) in the novel Hotatsu was supposed to end up with her brother. I liked her brother better so I thought I'd read it to complete the series.

However, it was quite disappointing. I mean for people who like the alternate ending it was fine. (I think that part's ok too) but the writing style was disappointing...it was way too Junior...for someone who reads novel on a daily bases, this can be finished within a day.

Description lacks details and it was very short. Issues were simplified. The story all in all wasn't very interesting either.

Then again, for anyone who likes "that pairing", I think it's always nice to have an official ending on them. I just wish it was done better."

Buying manga

"Hehehe...depends on what language you're talking about. For Japanese and Chinese I can get up to like 10 (back when I used to be say rich Owo;)
Because they're much cheaper, only like 5 bucks per book. You can't get that with English though...so naturally I don't buy too much English manga. I only buy them when I can't find the Japanese/Chinese copy. (Tuxedo Gin for example I bought in bulk because it was on sale)."

"I liked the ending...I think it was somewhat unexpected on the choice of the main guy's girl. I was really happy with his choice though because she was my favourite girl out of all of them. (trying not to spoil it for anyone)
Then again, there's always a side of me that doesn't really like the main guy and think the girl he picked deserves better. Then again this is one of those manga you think why in the world all those girls fell for the main guy...typical male fantasy."

But I heard it's hard being a vegetarian because you need to eat a wide variety of food just to keep up with the nutrient. I think it should be healthier all in all...I"m not sure...but I can understand where this is coming from. Sometimes I'm fully aware that I'm eating corpses, but I can't really help it. They tastes good. :D"

Thought I'd do something to the season, and since I have fallen madly in love with this series lately, I decided to use this scan that I found on a very nice Phoenix Wright site: Exhibit "A".

The scan itself wasn't big...so I had to work with what I got. Since I really liked the texture/water colour feeling, I didn't really want to vector it. The picture had such a nice atmosphere I didn't do much to change it but extend it, added more snow and the text.

Any comment/suggestion/discussion about this great game? :D
