"I think it is best when one and the same person draws and writes the story. Because the result is exactly what you wanted. Also most mangas, that i have read are made by one artist. I will not tell you to give up, try and see how good your artist undrstands what you want from him... Let`s hope he is good. If you are really satisfied with the result you can upload it somewhere and give us a link, so we can see it too and tell you our opinion. Don`t start any project with the thought of publishing it, especially if it`s your first, because the possibility is high that you will be dissapointed in the end. Do it for youself, just for fun."

"To remove the spots from the hair and the kimono you just need to copy small areas from near the spot and place them over it.My expirience shows that no filter can do this .Use a hard brush to copy, because the edges of the cloned areas will blur if you use a soft one.It works i`m doing it all the time to clean my scans.Good luck!"

" This morning ( it`s 8.30 CET) i saw something in the wallpaper gallery that mada me totally mad! There is a wall, which is even in the most favoured section, the autor of that wall says he used a picture drawn by someone else.Then he says he lost contakt with the original artist and so on. That means he does not have written permission to use the picture! He does not even know the name of the artist! Is something like that allowed at AnimePaper? I have good reasons to think that the original autor is japanese and You all know very well what is written on all jap sites: reusing fanart is striktly prohibited! And the people, who commented on this wall are doing so, as if nothing is wrong! I hope a admin reads this,
because that picture must be taken down! Please correct me if i`m wrong and tell my your opinion.
I`m not shure that`s the right forum-category for this, but i looked around and don`t think it fits anywhere else.If i messd up, please move or delete it.Sorry for the trouble!"

"Yes the gass is good. The moon and clouds are pretty too.How about a reflection of light on the sword? Would seem just right for me. Try a lensflare, very small and not too bright. It`ll make a nice accent in the foreground!"

"I would only suggest that you make the colors on kira match the background more. He looks a little oversaturated/ overcontrast now. Maybe try to make his skin a tone that matches the sand, so that he does not stand out that much.

"About the first picture: the proportion is completlly off- the legs are too short: the head must fit 3 times from the waist to the knees and 2 times from the knees to the ground. Don`t be angry but that makes impression.If you wanted to make that look like he is doing some spell , maybe the hands are glowing , then it`s better whitout much shadow like you`ve done it, because the light is coming from two sides."

"If you ask me forget about the boxes. They will only ruin the composition, showing nothing at the same time. And as for this wall: 1. you have to outline the figure in the forground and make better color balance- it looks oversaturated.
2.the trees in the background are supposed to look as if they`re burning i think, but now they look like bad extraction.
3.the demon in the background looks really bad quality.
4. you must work harder on the sky - on the clouds or smoke or whatever this is.
5.maybe try to make the font burn

I think your composition is good and your wall has great potential.Have fun fixing it!"

"Great picture of Kenshin! I think it`s nicely placed too.Here is my personal opinion, it`s a bit different, than the others, but if you are willing to change direction read on: i liked your idea with the plain field very much. Why do you need big trees? Keep the field empty, also make the grass a bit brownish not just dark green. Accent on the sky! Make the moon and stars shiny, the moon mdy even le ligger. Then you put highlights on Kenshin. Dramatical light always makes a special wall and you have a scene where you kan use that. Try this maybe and it migt turn out great! Have fun!"

"You really should try to clean the figure more.I think you are right about the background and the black borders are ok too, but ... dark blue is one of the colors, that suit black the least. I suggest you try to make it more grayish using some soft grunge brushes. This will make the color combination stylish and won`t distract from the character, adding subtle detail at the same time. The robot is my favourite character fromTB too, so i`ll definetly come to chek your progress!"

"The way the figure is highlighted by the lensflare makes it look flat and too light. Try to erase selectivly this light where there must be shadow on the figure, to make it look more 3D. I assume that the figure and the lens are on the same layer so you can`t erase, but you could try making shadow with the burn tool. Also try making the stars different size to give the space more depth. And i recomend you not to use the red lensflare, because it`s too default and is considered for a cheap effect.Good luck!"

"The whole wallpaper lacks contrast.Try to make the white places on the figure whiter. Leave the squares in the background out.Why don`t you try creating an ice efect over the face in the background with the brushes you used in the begining.Rukias sword makes ice after all. You could try placing separate crystals araund the edges of the wall, or after the sword in an arc.Look if it helps and post again."

"The black and white is nice, but you could make the black cleaner ( there are litlle white dots as if the scan is not very good quality). It`s better there are not so many flieing heads around , keep your favourite and maybe make a horizontal black space at the bottom or top where the icons can be placed.I like the Bleach manga better than the anime, so it was a good idea to take pictures from there.It will sure become a nice wallpaper."

"Because there are many small details on the Justice, i think it would be more balanced if there is more detail on the background. For example you can use some grunge brushes. The font doesn`t suit the picture, you could try some technic fonts. The scan extraction is well done, but make more contrast between the background and the Justice so it stands out more.Don`t give up this is my favourite MS! Bye!"

"The lines around the fingers and the right strand of his hair are a little cut off. Overall your extraction is good. The idea for the background is nice, but you could put more detail. The font of the title doesn`t mach the background, try to make some glass or metal effect on the letters. And i think theres something wrong with the sword between his hand and head, like you filled the lower half with the background. I hope i see the finished version soon. Bye!"
