I happen to like the Guilty Gear series quite a lot. Although yeah, I do like the King of Fighters series, as well. But I suppose the winner would be GG for me. The game offers a lot of possibilities and the storyline appeals to me more than that of KoF. Not to mention that the designs from GG intrigue me more than KoF."

Hehe... The movie was an over-all good. Though yeah, the target is very limited to those who played the game. Like I said earlier, it's made specifically for the fans of the game.

Other comments on the movie... RENO & RUDE! Woot~! Reno and Rude probably composed about half of the fun of the movie. Their antics even in the middle of Cloud's emo scene with Tifa was simply wonderful. Rude kept his cool then I just rolled in laughter when his sunglasses were crushed by Reno who didn't even bother to apologize.

The fight scenes were defying physics which is kinda normal for that world, I guess. It wouldn't be half as exciting if they were bound by most of the laws of physics. The other characters didn't get as much attention other than Cloud, Tifa and the villains. Maybe they should make movies for each of the characters so they can get their own limelight. :lol:

I'm kidding. They'd spoil the series that way 'cause of over-exposure. I am hopeful that S-E would make Final Fantasy VII again with a bunch of extras though. It's going to be difficult stunt to pull off, but I'm hopeful that they can. "

Let's see... I got a bunch of resolutions but first I'll have to agree completely with captainlooney. Next to that would be to slack less and work more. The next items would pretty much add to my list of resolutions.

+ Somehow purchase own domain
+ Accomplish accumulated unfulfulled resolutions

"Yeah, I guess I'd have to agree with most of the people here already. Your room actually looks neat compared to mine. I can't vouch for anyone else's but it does look ok. Just the stuff is a little scattered into different places. You could probably get a separate display for your stiff on the shelf and use that space for books or whatever reading material. ."

When I was younger and couldn't grasp the concept of stuff like morality, yes, I'd cheat. I would get awfully frustrated whenever I tried so hard again and again but still lose. Of course, I'd cheat. But eventually age gets into ya and you begin to feel that the effort exerted into a game becomes part of the value of the whole experience. Besides, I had a gameshark then.

Nowadays, I'd only refer to some guides every now and then for extras and stuff. Other than that, I'd pretty much grit my teeth in frustration and repeat till I get it done. Or if I can't, I get someone else to try and maybe luck would favor them."

The PC

I'd agree with mikageryuji and Zethil on the part that it would depend on what kind of games you like. After all, there are some games that are better for the PC and there are games that are better off on a console. I can't imagine trying to play RTS games like Command & Conquer, Warcraft i or The Sims on a console and have the same experience if I played it on a PC. It just doesn't have the same feel when you're playing on the PC. On the other hand, I find it hard to imagine myself playing Guilty Gear or Soul Calibur anywhere else other than the arcades or on my PS2.

It's clear though that with the speed of today's technology, it'll be hard for people to keep up with all the hardware upgrades that come out every few months or so just to keep playing a few hi-spec games. It's just not practical when I can buy a console just once and play dozens of other games till the next console comes out.

Customization is another thing to consider for some games. In my case, I like to make lots of 'em whenever I can because I find it amusing to spend a little time to make a custom character to play. Though console games provide players with a wide range of customizations, the possibilities are still far greater on a PC since there are always those mods that could help you out.

I'm kinda doubtful that any of them would ever really dominate for quite a long time if ever they do dominate over each other. Each has it's own trail of gamers who are more than eager to defend his/her gaming platform on any given day.

Do u like FF Advent Children??

Ah yes... Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children. The sequel movie of Final Fantasy VII which takes place two years after the defeat of the mighty Sephiroth to the hands of Cloud and his party-mates. Directed by Tetsuya Nomura and the music done by Nobuo Uematsu, the movie turned out to some exactly what they had wanted or at least what they had expected and to others a dream come true. In my opinion, the movie was good overall. It did what I believe it was supposed to do... Please the fans and give a bit more of a fulfilling ending to an already great story.

The graphics of the movie were down-right wicked and simply jaw-dropping. Kudos to the brilliant designs and hard-working, under budgeted graphics crew of Advent Children. The details were very well done it's just that some of the scenes went so fast, you couldn't appreciate the actual quality of the imagery. Character designs brought life to what I remembered as simple polygons.

Next is the music. Uematsu did a good job in the music and it suits the mode. Though some parts seemed a little odd, it was tolerable or maybe just not my kind of music.

The story would seem odd to any casual movie-goer. But to fans of the game, it was the icing on the cake of FFVII. The story was straight-forward and didn't really invoke much throught on what was going to happen. Like I said, fans would probably know what to expect from such a movie. "

"Well wow... Where would I begin? I'll list down those who have the highest mention in my opinion. There are dozens of characters who have such varied personalities and appearances but only few are truly commendable IMO.

Final Fantasy Vi - Quistis Trepe
She's stunning in terms of character design. Quistis has that refined demeanor and her personality is also very appealing. Though it is sad that she developed a kind of liking for the main guy who probably has never even thought of her as someone else other than an annoying teacher. It's no wonder she would have a band of loyal followers at her tail.

Final Fantasy VII - Tifa Lockheart
I know there are people who would make an assumption that I'm putting up Tifa on this list because of her... well... large assets. But these are not the main reasons she is on my list. Story-wise, she played a key role in keeping Cloud together as a character. Her feelings for Cloud remained unresponded to throughout the game and even through the sequel movie that is Advent Children. In the end, she sppeared more as a big sister figure rather than a leading lady since that role seems to be much more appropriate to Aerith. Tifa's fine physique and alluring eyes are also characteristics which make her even more appealing.

I suddenly got lazy... Here're some more candidates I could vouch for...

I wander across the internet once in a while in desperate search for scans and other images to use for avatars and banners. It wouldn't be long till I would come upon AnimePaper and I was quite thrilled to see what was available to me. Just like pyreleaf above me, I didn't realize what exactly the system was. At the time, I needed only a few images which I found interesting. I eventually became inactive.

It was only yesterday that I was re-introduced to AnimePaper and I was encouraged to post and test my luck at trying to be regular on a forum. She actually encouraged me by showing off a couple of Tenjo Tenge scans which I simply adored because they were that of Maya. I'm sure that you can guess by now who it was that got me back here and posting. *points above*"

Cloud or Sephiroth

"Hmm... I guess it's true that Final Fantasy VII is on the overrated side. But this doesn't really lower the quality of the game. It's the overly zealous fans that make the game overrated not the game. Not that it's always a bad thing.

Anyway, on-topic. < My upcoming opinions are not to be taken seriously on this part >I'd vote on Sephiroth 'cause Cloud cheesed his wins. First was at Nibelheim when Cloud stabbed Sephiroth in the middle of a reunion with Jenova. < refer to FFVII:Last Order for a more graphic view > Next, was at the ending of Final Fantasy VII where Cloud 'mysteriously' fills his limit gauge and finishes off Sephiroth with Omnislash in a man-to-man fight. Lastly is a spoiler for Advent Children:

Cloud distracts Sephiroth with his splitting sword act then commences with Omnislash yet again.

In my case, one of the very first addicting game to play was Harvest Moon: Back To Nature. I could play for hours on end and I wouldn't even notice the time pass by. As repetitive as it was, I didn't seem to get bored at all. After that, the next addicting game was probably Romance of the Three Kingdoms Vi. I didn't get to play RTK7 but they say it's good. Ever since I played RTK8, I was hooked on the series in general."
