"Don't you just love how GAiNAX leaves you in the dark about so many things? I definitely agree that they should expand on that section of the series. Expanding on some of the other parts might mess it up, so if they were to expand, might as well do it on that."

"For some reason, everyone loves the sugarcoated stuff so much. I actually liked the ending to this series. It was sad, but still more meaningful than "they marry, and live happily ever after." Seriously, whats the fun in that?"

I wasn't really sadden about Nia's death in the end for some reason. One thing I did hate was that Kintan (sp? or that blonde loud dude with the 3 sisters) was a Kamina rip. That really was lame. Other than that, the anime is truly epic and Yoko is truly epicly hot as hell.

lol Wut? Those two weren't that alike at all, if you did indeed pay attention. Kamina was always the loud guy who the brigade looked up to, and motivated everyone, and most importantly the largest influence on Simon's life. Kittan on the other hand wasn't that loud, and wasn't much of a speech giver. He was just one of the other background guys, but went out with a big bang (moreso than Kamina did).

The two of them have similar traits, but when it comes to their personalities, they're not even that alike.


I'm sensing the only reason you disliked him is the fact that you're a KamiYoko person, especially from that last like in your post too. (Actually, the whole Yoko pairing preference really makes up the whole thing about whether you like Kittan or not, or at least that's what it seems to be with the fans who aren't from /a/.)"

"Well, my favorite anime out there is TTGL, which is already completed. If someone where to change the origonal TTGL story, I'd be kind of upset. It was already brilliantly done, so why do anything new to it. I mean, for episode 4 they had the guest director, and everyone remembers the 2channel incident for that, right? Wasn't good, if you don't know of it.

However, if they had other directors or writers add on to TTGL, I'd be okay with that. The story has a lot of things that it can expand on (most of GAiNAX's series seem to be that way, because they give you so much). I mean the Parallel Videos are all pretty good, so seeing what someone else could make would be interesting...

"I play MapleStory (Yeah, I know... its the game everyone loves to hate) and I get this a lot myself. However, instead of chewing out the person and such, I just walk on. Usually the people who really love to bug me for nudes (or maple marriage) are really low level, so I decide to be evil and take them through the ant tunnel, which causes them to die. After that, its pretty easy to add them to the blocklist.

There's also a ton of sexism towards females on Halo 2 and Halo 3. However, its usually not in the "lets see you naked" manner. Its almost always the same line from guys. "This is a mans game, b*tch." Sadly, most of the guys that I've played H2 with (seeing I haven't touched H3 on XBL) we're well over 25 and always would brag to the younger players that they're so much more mature, then they'd use that same line. So mature, huh?"

"I've heard a lot of dubs before, and I can't say that I like this one. The only voices I could say that I liked had to be Leeron's and Nia's. However, Simon, as the rest of Yuri's other roles, sounded the same (I swear, I've only seen a clip of one of the episodes, and the only line by him was "NIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" which sounded just like Haseo's "ATOLiiiiiiii" scream that he always does, which sounds the same as EVERY OTHER ROLE). I can't say that I disliked Simon, but I didn't like him that much either. Same for Yoko. Didn't like it, didn't dislike it. Voices I disliked that I heard were Kamina's and Kittan's. They really messed up the Double K. I don't really remember Dayakka's enough to judge it, but I remember disliking it. Viral's I loathed. I had only heard Sam Regal in one other game, and that was also .hack//G.U. (Well I've heard Yuri in more, but that's the only thing that I saw through to the end, or well, played, thus I can mainly judge his voice based off that role.) Aidene's wasn't too good either. Yeah, it sounded kind of close, but I loved her original voice (I'm just weird like that.)

If there's one voice that I definitely don't want to hear, its Attenborough's. I don't know how they replicated it for the dub, and I must say, I'm scared."

"I'm not much of an Otaku, but being 18+ and having a plethora of friends, sure I hang out with a few. Then again, I barely turned 18 and I'm barely starting college. Yeah, I can get away with hanging around with some of the younger kids who are still in high school at this age, but in about 3 years from now, that's gonna make things look pretty awkward for me, so I'll have to get some older friends who are into the same things. Then again, most of the people who I hang out with now are into this type of stuff, and are around my age, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, most of my younger friends, will have to be internet friends, to risk looking like some sort of freaky pedophile. And if that doesn't work out, there's always the animu and mango board down at our dear friend, 4chan."
