Instruments?

"I'm playing piano for more than fifteen years ( l learn piano when i was like six years old) and i play double bass for around six years.
compare to piano...i prefer double bass becuase i do not need to coordinate both hands at the same time...XD
anyway, i was forced to learn piano when i was small and started to like it after i joined my school's chinese orchestra because i was exposed to lots of interesting music arrangement during that time...
i learn double bass through my school senior and practice it almost everyday by myself...even ended up as the instrument principal...O.o
ok...learning instrument really needs lots of patience...and you really have to like it in order to master it.
forcing yourself is not the right way...i've notice this after years of observing people around me...
next instrument? might be the guitar ( need to save money to get one... T.T )"

"Even though there might be teachers who appear to be an otaku, most of them might keep it as a secret.
For instance, my friend and I won't tell students that we like anime because it might cause some problems if they know about it...like asking about manga and anime which is not supposed to happen between a teacher and a student in class.
I even control myself and asked a girl to keep away her manga in class last week (i read manga in lectures...lol)
Personally, i think it is something about respect...and i prefer to be strict in class and be myself when i'm away from the students...XD"

How does a day in your life looks like?

"This semester, i'm having my teaching practical and my life goes boringly like this:
09:30 Wake up and get ready for school ( i mean going there to teach XD)
11:30 Having brunch (breakfast + lunch ) else where
01:20 Teaching and spending my time in school preparing for lesson, helping the teacher
06:45 Going back to campus from work
07:15 Having dinner else where
08:15 Arrived in my dorm: having my shower, laundry, preparing for lesson, checking my mail, playing games...etc.
03:00 Sleep

A monotonous life indeed...facing the same thing again and again everyday, except that teaching the high school kids are challenging...u don't know what will happen next...>.>
Apart from preparing tons of teaching materials...i don't have a life...and i need to write a detailed report in case my lecturer turns out one day...suddenly.

i'll be having an interesting life next semester..hopefully XD"

What songs do u listen to while walling?

"I'm a person who really need tons of songs for inspiration.
let's see...when i wall...it really depends on my mood during that time.
Sometimes i'll blast on random japanese songs...those from ayumi hamazaki, YUI's, arashi etc.
but, mostly i'm listening to chinese songs, especially those from mayday, because i can't wall without their music! ( as well as when i'm doing assignments...XD)

"Ok...making a non anime wallpaper for the first time and decided to share it here after leaving it in my labtop for a long time.

This is a wall of Mayday (wu yue tian...you'll know them if you listen to chinese songs).

i decided to make this after seeing the photos i found online and also for personal use.

I make it something like the sunset effect and i really like it very much becuase of the colour XD

Lonely..

anyway, back to the topic...it really depends if i wanna be left alone or with the company of my friends.
When i'm busy with assignments, reports, walling, designing and etc..i prefer to be left alone.
But...when it comes to weekends where my friends were out with other activities...i might feel lonely.
This might be cause by the stress level of mine, as well as lack of socializing in university (i'm not good when it comes to starting a conversation with people).

anyway, i'm in between of being lonely and not being lonely.
it really depends on the situation i'm in XD "

a teacher who likes anime and manga...
collecting anime figures and posters...
even worst...having his / her own walling site with anime wallpapers!
OMG...i'm talking about myself *faint*

anyway, it is nothing wrong for a teacher to be an otaku.
i happens to major in English education and my friends know that i'm an anime walling nuts...actually, there are tons of anime fans in my class and we are exchanging dvds and stuff from time to time.

Teachers are still human...and i just need anime to release stress.
i'm having practical now and the noisy school is killing me..gonna be insane soon. ( hey..the students are like zoo animals...i can't control them)

well again...i agree that a teacher = otaku...it is cool to be one...XD
plus, i don't look like a teacher at all.

How Safe Are China's Exports?

"I used to hear others saying that China goods are of low quality and you cannot trust their products at all...especially after reading about the news on slimming products and etc.

well...after reading the articles in the link above, personally, i think that they should put the safety of people as first priority while producing food stuff...as well as medicine, toothpaste, pet food and etc.when it comes to exported goods...thay should have strict quality control so that the reputation of the country are not effected by the consequences of the product.
ok...i understand that China products are cheap...as they have lots of man power and cheap labour compared to other countires.
but, is it necessary to cut down the cost, especially when it comes to chamicles and other items which concerns about people's life?
or is it wise to maximise the profit by ignoring the production rules and regulation?
i know there might be coruption among the officers or the company to cause such a trouble. Thus,with money involved, some people might be lenient in quality control, or even make a false report regarding that issue.

Even though China is a fast developed country which is about to host the Olympics, they should pay more attention in quality assurance.
And as a consumer,we should be aware of the band products and choose our food wisely.
it is way too scary to think about it.

i just love the view up from the peak of mount kinabalu and have been finding a chance to go there.
it is amazing...and also one of the main attraction in Malaysia.
as a malaysian, i should go there...:D

and also...i agree with you, autismgirly, the treadmill choreography is too great.
it takes lots of time in order to master such a difficult move.
imagine something moving under your feet and you have to keep dancing and maintain your balance.
i'm listening to 'Invincible' now...
i think the song is great.
u should not judge their songs by their image.

i just came on watching their video on Channel V last December and i remembered that i can't stop laughing at the music video because it is extremely hilarious.
Then, around last month, i've read an article that their video has won an award in youtube for the most watched video...or something like that.
thus, i send the link around and my friend said that their dance move is actually cool and it is difficult to dance on treadmills.

anyway, in my opinion..their video is creative...and i kinda like the song 'here it goes again' after repeating it again and again.
too bad their album can't be found around my place.
all i know is that they are a band that actually dance!

you can share anything here regarding this group...
it is fun for me to discover this thing and spread the treadmill madness around...lol

Where do you See Yourself in 5 Years?

"Well...lots can happen to me after five years from today...now...i can see that my future is pitch black...lol
ok...back to the topic...
five years from now...

First, i might be studying for my masters overseas on Linguistics (maybe) in order to get a better job (being a lecturer in private colleges is not bad)

Second, i might end up teaching in a secondary school...giving tuition lessons and earning a lot of money...XD

Third...venturing into different field instead of end up being an educator ( it is not what i intended to be...)..maybe graphic designing or a music instructor.

Lastly...still single and i get to go whenever i want to be by taking up a job as English tutor in maybe China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and etc.

i just can't imagine how far i've changed when time goes by.
it is scary to think and plan on your future.
anyway, i'll plan while i take one step ahead and see how far i can go...:D
