This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

FMA Anyone ?

"Well, chapter 75 is out, and we get to see more of Hohenheim's story as shown in the last chapter. Plus, Sig and Izumi are back! However, their return comes with a price...no peep from our resident pint-sized alchemist or even the Flame Alchemist. Ah well. They'll surely be back for chapter 76.Anyhow, I started with the manga after I finished the anime and the OVAs. I like both storylines, and they have their own positive and negative points. I'm currently collecting the manga volumes, so I really have to save up a whole lot. XD Right now, the manga story is keeping me at the edge of my seat as to what happens next. In fact, I have a truckload of theories as to how it'll all end...that's how much Arakawa- sensei makes me think. And the characters...so developed, and yet they continue to flourish. Though I'd like to see some other characters who have disappeared largely for now...I hope they return soon. ^_^
And I don't know if the end is near, or still a long way away. I can't wait for the next chapter."

What kind of ending do you hate the most?
10 months 2 weeks ago
"I don't like endings that are way too predictable...like, you can easily tell what's going to happen from the beginning. I also don't like those endings that leave too many plotholes...like characters suddenly disappearing for no reason. I like them being open considerably, but not so wide to the point that it's as if the anime never really ended.Still, I don't like endings that are too perfect either, or too "closed".
I don't mind when the main character wins in the end...heck, if I like that particular protagonist, I'd actually jump for joy, but I will start to mind if it's too perfect, too flawless.
It also depends on the kind of anime, if it's got more action or more romance. I get a bit irritated when something that's full of action suddenly becomes so melodramatic that I want to squeeze my eyes out - as in, out of the blue."

"It's slow at first, but towards the end, the real action comes in. Especially during the last few episodes. I'd say more, but I might end up giving a ton of spoilers. XD"View
Saiunkoku Monogatari

"I've only seen the first two episodes so far. They're showing it on Animax where I live, and they dubbed it. Though I'd like to hear the original too.Right now, I'm liking the story very much...it's really cute, and the female protagonist really knows how to use her brain. Though I have one question about the first two episodes...

What do you do when you're bored in class?
10 months 2 weeks ago
"I don't normally sleep in class...unless it's so boring that I can't take it anymore, or when the classroom is really hot and stuffy.Anyhow, I doodle, write random things in the margins of my notebook or at the back of it, and I've even written fanfiction during class. XDDDDD Or I daydream. About all sorts of things."

Fate/stay night

"I haven't played the game, and I only started reading the manga shortly before I finished the anime.Which, by the way, was very good. Though it's not my most favorite, it definitely is one of my favorites. The action scenes were awesome, and the effects breathtaking, especially the battles between different Servants (Archer versus Berserker takes the cake, and I seem to enjoy the confrontations between Saber and Assassin, and between Saber and Gilgamesh). Add the mythological and historical references, and I just can't stop. In fact, I think the series ended too soon. That's basically my only complaint.

Another Asian songs rather than Japanese, Korean or Chinese?
10 months 3 weeks ago
"I'm Filipino, and that must mean I listen to Filipino music. XDSeriously though, I highly recommend bands like Parokya ni Edgar, Bamboo, Kamikazee, Rivermaya, Sandwich and MYMP. Many OPM (Original Philippine Music) songs these days are very good, and quite a lot of them are in English; though written (in most cases) and performed by Filipinos. Musicians here really take their thing seriously, love their fans, and blow everyone away with their performances. "

The strangest things you have done in your sleep?
10 months 3 weeks ago
"I once talked in my sleep...and I was spending the night with my schoolmates in a classroom for an activity when I was in the fifth grade. And two teachers, as if that wasn't enough. Boy, I was embarrassed the next morning when I woke up and they were talking about me talking while sleeping. XD I'm glad they've forgotten it...but I sure won't.And during those days when I used to sleep with stuffed animals...I would snuggle close to them and fall asleep, and then when I wake up the next morning, they would end up at the foot of my bed. XD"

Swords or Guns?
10 months 3 weeks ago
"*snicker*...I have this feeling I'm not the only one strongly reminded of a certain Western sci-fi anime with gunslinging (...sort of) girls and swordsmen with mechas. XD
Anyhow, it all depends on what you want and what you're looking for in a weapon. Swords look really cool, whether in your hand or on your wall, but if you want to actually learn how to USE one, you would have to take lots of lessons and watch yourself, because swords, like most things, are dangerous in careless hands.
Same goes with guns, which are easier to master and are more common nowadays. But they're better for long-range.
As for me, I like both. I can't choose. But if I had to, I'll go with the sword. "

Can you listen to music while reading manga?
10 months 3 weeks ago
"I'm not picky with the kind of music I listen to while reading manga. I listen to anything...from anime OSTs to rock. It doesn't really matter even if the mood of the songs I listen to clash with the mood of the manga I read. As long as I enjoy the manga AND the music. ^_^"View
other peoples grammar
10 months 3 weeks ago
"Normally, people who make minor mistakes in English grammar and spelling don't bug me too much, despite the fact that I'm a self-proclaimed grammar Nazi. Some people just haven't been taught English from the cradle, like me, and others aren't as fluent, usually due to cultural reasons. But when they make glaring mistakes even a preschooler could correct, or when they use chatspeak, that's when my Nazi-ness really kicks in, and I can be quite annoying when I start correcting others, I admit. I even insist on using proper grammar and spelling in text messaging and IM, but I have nothing against people who don't. I'm more lenient when it comes to instant messaging and cellphones."

What music did you used to listen to when you were young?
10 months 3 weeks ago
"Oh man, I can't believe how my taste in music has changed over the years. XDI used to listen to Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, N*SYNC, Britney Spears (I did? XDDDD), Blue, M2M, S Club 7...basically a whole lot of pop. And I can't believe I used to like rap back then too.
Then I moved to rock. I don't know how or why though...and I started listening to more OPM (Original Philippine Music), Japanese (especially anime theme songs), and my fondness for pop began to tone down a bit. But I still do listen to pop...I still love Westlife. XD I do. Now the only genre I abstain from as much as possible is rap. "

"I've watched all 50 episodes, and also Blood: The Last Vampire. I have to admit, I had my doubts at first about this anime, thinking that it would be focusing too much on fighting, violence, and of course, a whole lot of bloodshed, but I was wrong. There's a lot of drama and comedy (inside jokes like Saya's huge appetite XD) in between, and several episodes run without a single drop of blood, probably with more tears and blood. The characters are dynamic, perfectly flawed (how ironic) and keep you wondering what they'll do next.(Do not read the following unless you've finished the series too)
The music is awesome; I salute Mark Mancina for it, especially Diva's song (performed by Elin Carlson). I have both OSTs, and the music ranges from fast-paced and suspenseful to slow and mellow. My favorite OP is Colors of the Heart by UVERworld, and my favorite ED is Cry No More by Mika Nakashima. I even have Haji playing Bach on cello, and it's relaxing to listen to it...sometimes you can just imagine Haji sitting beside you playing his cello. XD"

Hi, everyone!

"I followed several links around while hunting for anime scans and related stuff, and stumbled upon this site. And wow, I'm just amazed at the sheer number (and quality) of things I've found!Anyhow, I'm Reginastra (big whoop XD), and I know I'll have a lot of fun here. ^_^ A bit about me - I'm 18, Filipino, a college freshman, a self-proclaimed fangirl, and speaking of which, some of my favorite anime/manga are Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Gun X Sword, xxxHoLiC and Fate/Stay Night. As you can see, I'm more into the shounen/seinen genre, but I'll watch just about anything in general. "
