"I think 26 episodes is the ideal about - not too long that it get boring, but not too short that everything is rushed. Licenced By Royalty would have been a great show if it was longer, while almost all long anime have fillers or get boring."

"I use Google all the time. I only go to Yahoo for email. Google is so much easier. The only thing I wish is that Google adds better coontrols to the image search. I would like to be able to search only for images in a specific size like 100x100 pixels, rather than wade through a ton of pictures that are too big oor too small."

Well, it's not in every anime. Just look at your list. There's isn't a guy like that in Cowboy Bebop, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Sprited Away, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind or in any Ghost in the Shell anime. "

"Well, it's one of the pages that I have permanantly tabbed, so my browser goes there every time I start it up. But usually I only spend maybe a 1/2 hour to an hour during the week here. But on the weekends I might spend a couple of hours in the forum."

"I love Cowboy Bebop. I think it's better than GITS SAC because it ended before things got sucky. It also has a much better ending than Samurai Champloo, as well as better music, better character designs, and it isn't as repetative.

The only thing I don't like about Bebop is that it is predicable. You pretty much know how things are going to go. In Irresponsible Captain Tylor, you can never tell what's going to happen next."

"Sometimes the animation looks bad because of the schedule. The creators run out of time and they just poop whatever they can out. Also there could be another factor - In Wolf's Rain, there are FOUR episodes that are just reused animation because the studio was effected by the SARS crisis."

Yeah, the bad guys in Berserk are all pretty evil. Shishio in Kenshin is pretty bad too, though in a way it's kind of understandable. His burns made him crazy and just added to his evil. "

Junkers Come Here (OVA/Movie)

"So has anybody seen this film? I was watching it with my girlfriend this morning and I have to say that it's a pretty good film. It's as well made as a Ghibli film, thought it is actually from Bandai.

It's about a little girl named Hiromi and her pet dog Junkers (Yoon-kers). Her parents are never home and it looks like they might get divorced. But it turns out that Junkers has some magic powers, or at least that's what Hiromi starts to think.

It's kind of slow in places, and ther isn't any action. But it does have a good message, even though the end is kind of corny."

"One anime with a really bad name is Cyber City Oedo 808. It's true that it takes place in a city call Oedo, but that has very little to do with the show. It could have been Cyber City Okyoto or Cyber City Ofukoka or whatever.

The number 808 comes from one of the character's prison cell number, but that only makes sense for the first episode. The other two episodes are about different people!"

has any of you seen these: Astro Boy, Speed Racer, Marine Boy, Gigantor, Robotech, or Star Blazers...? Theyr the 1st animes... as I've heard... Does any of you know in what year was the 1st ANIME made?... o.O?

They first anime was waaay before those shows. Robotech isn't even an anime, it's three different anime chopped up and given a whole new story by the american dubbers.

But to get back to the thread, I've seen some Astro Boy and Speed Racer, as well as Kimba & the orginal Lupin i. And yes I've seen Robotech too. The only show I really like is Lupin i, and I even have a Fujiko figure from the first episode."

"The last anime I finished was... Cowboy Bebop! I just got vol. 6 of the remixes, so I got to see the end again. It's a great show, but I don't think the remix DVDs are worth it. The old DVDs had more extras, and stuff."

Ever since I moved here to Canada, I've been starved of seafood.
CANADA IS COUNTRY WITH LONG-FREAKIN'-EST COAST LINE IN THE WORLD.
WHY IS IT damn HARD TO BUY A FRESH FISH AROUND HERE?

I live in Canada and I can get fresh seafood at my local grocery store. They even have fish that are still alive in tanks. I prefer the frozen stuff though, it's easier to cook."
