Everyone hate Susaku?

"Both Lelouch and Suzaku had major contradictions going on, but even though I wanted to shake him sometimes for just how....... well, dumb and naive he was, I can't help liking Suzaku. I think he was more aware of his own hypocrisy than Lelouch was, hence the self-loathing and the daredevil suicidal stunts. Even Arthur I think he kept around (at least in the beginning) because he felt like he needed/deserved to be punished.
So I guess in support of the "Everyone Hates Suzaku" POV, even SUZAKU hates Suzaku, lol.


That being said, though, for me, Lulu was much more fun to watch. "

"I've always had a lot of friends who have at least a passing interest in anime. They're not really "otaku", so our relationships aren't defined by that aspect, but it's definitely nice to have someone to talk about and geek over that kind of thing with."

"I guess it can be easy sometimes for people to have a bad impression of people who say they're bisexual. Especially with girls, because sometimes they just claim to be bi to get attention. Then when the fakes get in a same-sex relationship, they inevitably end up bailing... it really gives bisexuality a bad name. Makes it hard on the people who really are. "

"Bleach just doesn't excite me the way it used to~~ though when I find some free time (after midterms lol), I'll probably sit down with it and get caught up. It's not so bad when you have a few episodes to watch at once, but waiting week-to-week for new ones has gotten too tedious and boring."

I also tend to have a thing for the "sidekick" and "best friend" varieties. It's rare that a main character will be my favorite; I usually end up liking his/her buddies more."

How do you choose your manga?

"I go with friends' recommendations and mangaka I already know and like.
If I don't connect with any of the characters within a couple volumes or so, though, I'm likely to dump it. I have to admit that plot is secondary to characterization; I can live with a shaky storyline if there are well-written characters to appreciate.

These days, I find myself automatically passing on most shoujo stuff (unless it has a reputation for being particularly funny)... after listening to so many friends whine about their love lives, I have no patience for that kind of thing anymore. My inner twelve-year-old boy is raging!!"

"I personally wouldn't refer to any American comics as manga, simply because manga simply means "comic." It's just a terminology thing for me, I guess? Similarly, I wouldn't call any Korean or Chinese comics done in a Japanese-inspired style "manga," as they'd be manhwa and manhua to me, respectively."

"The only problem I see with the theory of Urahara as the creator of the Vizards is that he didn't seem to know what to do when he noticed Ichigo's Hollow side taking over. Unless it was his plan all along to have Shinji and the others help instead, because the Vizards will be needed later... hmm, who knows.
