"Death Note is inevitably a great and ingenius manga. Though the initial plot is a tad weird, i find that this manga is one that just grabs at you. However I agree with everyone here that unfortunately it had probably proceeded to where it shouldn't have. I also find that Raito's sudden 'conversion' to being evil in only 5 days (at the start of the manga) is a bit unbelievable. I also agree with Chiisai that Raito not being 'evil' is well NOT Raito, and that stage of the manga was not as interesting, however i did very much enjoy the double personality and complexity of Raito's situation."View

"Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary) is my absolute fav mangaka, however i wouldn't reccomend her to just anyone. Yuki-sensei's style always tend to lean towards the 'dark' and 'gothic' side. However they're a great (Absolutely Great!) read for those who can handle it.My second fav mangaka is Wataru Yoshizumi (Marmalade Boy, Ultra Maniac etc), a definite switch from Kaori Yuki, Yoshizumi's story are much light-hearted, with humour and romance."

"I absolutely adore Lucifer-sama from Angel Sanctuary, and he is Lucifer afterall, so obviously evil. And Raito/Light of Death Note, that boy is twisted, however I can't help but think whether he is really evil or just manipulated by the power of the death note. Lastly, Itachi has been creeping into my favourites list lately."View

"Hikaru no go...well great manga but crap ending =_=' other than that it was one of my favourite series, and it was hikaru no go that got me really into manga. ^^I've gotta say that for a story about go, it really is great...i mean it's gotta be good if it makes you wanna read a story about go. Not that i'm dissing go or anything, i've played it a few times and it's quite fun^^ though i suck at it XD But a story about go, is like a story about chess...not that interesting. However hikaru no go has this shine in it that pulls you in pretty deep."View
