I love this scan and I want to make a wall out of it..
but I really don't know how to clean it...please help me..
how can I make it as sharp and clean as a high quality wallie?..

I only have corel paintshop pro XI in my pc..I previously worked in photoshop cs although now i don't have that installed yet..anyone who can teach me how to do it in this software?

"You have a nice idea goin' on with this wall..the sharpness of the wp's quite ok..one thing that's off with it is the blending of each element. It kinda has this 'too-much-vectored' wholeness..Kinda like slapping them all in a wall..catch my drift?..I mean, it's like they're too idle with one another...or isolated in some way...
Notice too that in the pictures, I think they're too obvious that they're kinda adjusted with the shape because there's some equal dimension issues with them..

hope I don't confuse you..they're just some things that I noticed..
But I think overall the wall's going to turn out great after you do all the touch-ups..^^"

I guess I'll redo everything..I did this like some kinda experiment for some of the tutorials I've read and just slapped it on a wall..(really not good, right?..^^')

I don't really like the result I have here since it has too many flaws. I'll try all your suggestions...but I'm going to work on this maybe next week..I'm quite busy with school right now so I haven't have much time..
In the meantime, I'll be glad if you could give me more of your ideas..I'd really appreciate it..and maybe I'll read it when I'm already working on this wall seriously..{",}

I noticed the sky's had too much stars but I'm quite tired for the day so I'll fix that maybe tomorrow..Btw, the sky's not a stock photo..I made it..(that's why it's so unfitting..I quite made fun of myself after I did that..^^')
I actually planned for a daytime version..but I really don't know how to make a good daylight sky..that's why I shifted to the night one..Is it fine if I continue this version or the scan would very much fit a day ambience?

If so, do you know any tutorials on how I could make the sky and the mountains (for the daytime)?...I really don't know how to make them..and 'bout the reflection in the lake, d'ya know how to make it distorted? pls pls teach me..."

I really didn't know how to remove that bad thunder anymore..tried cutting, replacing, but I can't seem to pull it all together afterwards..
but it seems to work just fine..so I guess it's ok..

"The end of the world is just an uncertain phenomenon that people claims every now and then..we can never be too sure about it...I've watched a documentation maybe about a year ago, 'bout the bible code that predicts that the wolrd may end iby some asteroid or something, but there was another code that says that God will not allow such a thing..(something like that)..anyways, it's just another theory...

I just hope it's not too soon...I have so many plans with my life and I don't really want for the world to end without even accomplishing them. . .^^"

but anyways, 'bout your wall, I think your idea's great..just have to fix some things:
bg: like they said, it's kinda plain..and I don't erally think blue-green fits it..maybe make it into a more vibrant blue..which kinda glows to add that wow feel to it..Then the black bg, maybe play with some colors, brushes, and other elements..Kinda make it abstract or simple..
Fai: Notice that the edges are blurry. And the colors superimpose each other...Make the lines more accurate , and the colors too..

Y'know, the design of Fai's clothes are beautiful in the original scan..maybe add them on your wall..

"Wow..I'd really love for this to be a wallpaper..hmm..maybe vectoring it will really take you a long time..why not start from scrap..Add the clouds, make the sea and the planet and comet-like thingies in the sky...then add Kira..(or maybe just look for a scan alike the one you have here and reduce his size and put him in the wall)..It may take you about 3-4 days to complete it but at least it's less than the length of time when you vector it..some tutorials and following the concept of this screencap should do the trick..

but that's just my opinion..Hope you'd work on this..I'd really love to see this finished..^^"

"Begin with a clean and high-quality scan..Hiding the low reso. by using textures wouldn't make the cut. It's pretyy much like a printed digital wall with blurry edges..y'know..You can make it more beautiful and nice to look at with a good quality scan..
I'm sorry if I seem mean..I'd love this wallpaper if the texture's out and the whole wall itself's sharp...^^"

I don't really know much about cleaning scans aside from those blurring techniques..maybe the best way to clean this is by vectoring..you can check out some tutorials in the web..or wait for more people to comment..
I'm a rookie myself..so I don't know much..sorry..^^'

Maybe look for some good quality scans if you'd have no other choice..it's less work that way..^^"
