Childish of being watched ANIME?

"Yeah, cartoons of the old days are childish. But not contemporary, if that's the word, anime! Some of the most complex and deep stories resides in the anime category and as said before, many are more geared towards adults and most definitely unfit for children. People who don't know simply associate anime with cartoons because they're colorful and not real. That's all they know. Granted many series in anime are children oriented so this generalization comes with it but it is wrong. Show some mature series to those "mature" people who haven't seen and they'll reformulate their perception of anime real quick."

Bleach catching up to the manga...

"Isshin being a shinigami as well as Ryuuken as with super Quincy powers and coming into the plot so suddenly surprised me. I can't wait to see more of them and their capabilities, especially with Isshin. I can just see Ichigo being freaked out by Isshin when he finally finds out. I can just see his first reaction LOL! While I don't like fillers in general, the bounto arc was not bad at all. Much better than say Naruto fillers which are long, dragged out, and many without good action. Seeing the opening and ending where many of the captains and their vice coming to the real world looks like much excitement will take place. Can't wait to see it all!"

What type of genres you prefer watching?

"I love action, lots of it! Series like bleach that does have a decent storyline, lots of action, and spiced with comical scenes are my favorite. I also like to watch those good love stories like His and Her Circumstances. That mixed in with a little ecchi once in a while is also fun to watch. Psycho thrillers are just not my thing nor are the super kiddy ones like Card Captor (bleh x_x). If there is a series that mixes Bleach, His and Hers, and some ecchi then it'd be perfect."

"I wouldn't want to watch it on TV. Other than the dubbing which more than likely will turn out horrible (as most dubs usually are), I think they also change all the jutsu names to something that sounds ridiculous. I think the English translation would just ruin it overall :("

"I personally don't agree with being gay but I won't hold it against others for being that way either. I think if they are happy then that's what matters since it really doesn't concern anybody else. I just don't like it when people start blaming them for "ruining society". If people want to be gay, let them be...just go with it."

"It didn't look too appealing to me at first from the animation (yeah I'm all into the graphics with CG and fancy details) but I started watching it and things got pretty interesting, especially the first episode which really hooked me. Before I know it, I finished the first boxset and then got another and another... Now I'm trying to finish out the discs and movie. Pretty entertaining series even though not a big deep story or intense character development. DBZ style but better IMO =)"

"The tree is a good idea, now definitely much more interesting. I like the one without the northern light as well, something just seems odd about that. Try having the gradient go into the blue sooner or even a lighter shade -or- just fade the backgound a little, not the tree though. It might work... I'm liking this a lot =)"

"That character dying is definitely an unexpected twist(well, they hinted at it throughout the book) for the story. I personally thought it just builds more suspense this volume. It leaves you wanting to know what Harry will do now. I have a feeling these last two books were more for laying some more foundation pieces( you know the whole half blooded prince thing) to later episodes than major turning events. Can't wait to read more!"

"I actually just watched this not even a week ago. I thought the story was very well developed as were the characters. If you are the type of person that don't mind a lack of action(really there action spread out here and there, just not constant is all) or comedy then this could be for you.

Basically Brandon Heat the main character is Gungrave or "Beyond the Grave" as they call him. And it starts off with him in the present waking up to fight. Then it flashes back to his past as he gains his memory and you find out how he got to become how he is, about his friends, life/work, relationships. It's mainly about the relation ship between his friend Harry and him.

I liked it a lot because it gave a pretty nice wrapped up ending and the story seems pretty unique. I'd give it another try, 4-5 eps to see. Have fun!"

"Yeah very beautiful work and like Furikuu said the whole brush effect is great. Have you tried perhaps to just have the words "broken faith" without the cross? Because right now I kind of feel like the wall is a bit cluttered other than it not fitting."

"Like the "middle" part of her hair is kind of off center. The part above her left eyebrow(from our view again). For her body, I'm guess you don't have an idea yet what she would be doing or how she would interact with the background. Umm...what about just have her stand there but have it so that she is holding her hands out in front of her. But here's the twist, have the hands coming from our point of view. In the end what you're trying to do is make it a mirror reflection of her standing there with her hands out. Sounds confusing and difficult huh? If you don't understand, tell me and I can explain in different words =P"

"Yup as everyone else said, your drawings are awesome! I really wish I can draw like that, but alas, abilities lacking. I like the later ones a lot more as they seem to grasp proportions on the faces better. The coloring could use some work (the computer skills huh?) but not bad for a start by any means. "Yeah you need more things that creates the atmosphere. I would say you should have more detailed things in the background because everything seems so simple right now since they're vectored. I'd also take out the circles in front, feels distracting. Have you tried stroking a thin line for the characters? That would make them seem more detailed and not blend in as much. It would also add attention to them. But it's a good start definitely, I'd like to see the finish product ;)"

"Ooh those scans are pretty nice. You can always make two different wallpapers, a big head and of her sitting in the sand. I wouldn't mind that ^^ Personally though since you have such nice scans there I'd vector them both completely and put them together since they look like they would fit. Not sure what other kind of background you can have besides a beach when they're dressed in swimsuits and are sitting/laying like that ^_^;

And why can't you have illustrator?"

"The blue and red you can just ditch. Too vivid and bright, can't really see anything else but blue and red. I agree with acidflower on getting back to the previous font and a gradient to reflect the shadow in the background for the cave one though. One thing you can also try is just picking a monochromatic color scheme and fill in parts of the image that way. It'll keep the simplistic look but add a little variation. I say that because you have quite a few characters in there and it'd help distinguishing between them much better than the line art ( lol at first I didn't see that one of Faye's legs were tucked behind the other and thought she was just mismatched). Very nice so far though, keep it up!"

"Yeah it definitely improved from when I last saw it. Still missing a little something in the back, perhaps what trismugistus said, a focal point. Agree with losing the stroke as before. The moon can also be shifted over to the right a little more, at least out of the words, not necessarily outside the stripes, unless you find a better place. The light rays, maybe you can have that coming from the moon's direction instead? Then it won't be parallel to and over the scan obscuring it. Keep it up!"
