This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Geneon and ADV are merging.
1 year 3 weeks ago
"And. . . . the deal is now off.http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-09-20/adv-films-geneon-entertainment-distribution-deal-cancelled
Which means that not only is ADV not handling distribution for Geneon, but Geneon is now even worse off, given that it is currently without any means of marketing or distribution (it having fired the staff in preparation for the "merger"). All in all, this cannot be a good thing. I hope that the two companies are able to work out whatever (unannounced) issues they had preventing the deal from going through, or that Geneon is able to find another company to handle distro for it.

Geneon and ADV are merging.

"In my experience, Geneon has consistently met a high level of quality in its anime releases, as many other thread participants have noted. At the same time, however, I've always liked the lower prices associated with ADV's thinpak boxed sets, and thus if this "merger" means that Geneon titles will also be released in thinpak (read: at lower cost), then to me this is most certainly a good thing."View
Persona 3

"Like just about everyone else in this thread, I am thoroughly enjoying Persona 3.I love the balance between combat and social interaction, and I find that it works quite well. While exploring Tartarus does get tedious after a while, I found that the game paces things excellently. At the beginning of the game, for example, my party members tended to tire just as I was losing interest. Later on, I was completing requests and reaching the block ends just as I was getting bored, making for convenient jumping-off points. Still, I have to admit that, throughout the game, I found myself more interested in getting a girlfriend than saving the world.
Anyhow, I desperately hope that Atlus releases FES in the United States, because after seeing some of the FES footage, I absolutely cannot go without playing it. Meido Yuka-tan
