This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Plans for the Coming Christmas
10 months 2 weeks ago
"I'm going to be working, which isn't too bad. I'll be working for 16 hours but I will be getting paid double so it will be worth it. I'll be pretty far away from my family anyway so I won't be celebrating Christmas this year. Oh well."View
Encountering 'the' bagger.

"Let's be honest with ourselves here for a moment. I think that there will be a point in time of a persons' life where luck is not with them at all. Where every decision that some makes turns out to be the worst. It might not be as severe as some of the people who are holding a sign asking for money but you may feel that it can come close to that.A co-worker of mine used to be like that, every choice that he made seemed to be the wrong one. He would go to shelters and get food and such. Eventually his life turned around; now he has a very steady job and making good money. He still remembers about how his luck was down and he volunteers at some of the shelters that he used to go to.
To be honest I don't like to give my money away to someone I just met but I still do. When I give them the money I ask myself if what I gave him would actually make a difference in his life. I find my self asking "Would my measly change help change this persons' luck?" I'd like to think so, every little bit counts.
Now if someone came up to me and asked me for a large amount of money, I would have to say sorry and give them a little bit of what I can give. I'm not exactly wealthy and most of the money I work hard for is needed to pay bills and such.

Will you change yourself for just ONE person?
1 year 2 months ago
"Yes, I would. For me it wouldn't depend on who it was either. I don't really know if I can explain this very well but I'll give it a try. It's not always the best being the same person your whole life, actually I think that it's quite impossible. You might not notice it but you act differently when you are around different people. You don't say things in front of your parents but when you are with your friends its a totally different story. Truth is you are always changing yourself for other people but you don't really notice it. The reason that you do that is to get along with other people that you are around with. Another good example for many is the workplace, I'm sure that you don't talk to your boss or customers (for those of you who deal with them) like you talk to your friends. All in all, you can't deny the fact that you do change yourself for someone else. It's just in a very very small way.
Another thing that I would like to add is that it isn't so bad changing yourself to better fit the likes of other people. Mostly because you could always change yourself back to the way you were before. For some reason when people talk about changing themselves they think that the change will last forever but that's not the case. I don't know why people tend to think that way, and I think that I will never know."

How long does it take to find where God lives?
1 year 2 months ago
"You know I actually think that this man is very very smart to make a claim like this. He might even got off on all charges by claiming insanity. I believe that the police know that this will eventually happen so they are following any lead that they can take. The fact that they tried to find where "God" lives makes sense.Maybe someone who was claiming to be "God" brainwashed him into believing everything that the criminal claimed. If that were true then you have another person you can convict. It's a long shot but I think that it would something to look into, no matter how crazy it sounds.
Even if by the very very small chance they find someone who goes by the alias of "God" the man who did the actual killing would still get off and be put into a mental institution. Yet you still have someone who will go to jail or die from the death penalty (whichever your courts will allow). You would still have someone you can blame. You would still get what people call "justice".
I don't think that the investigation is not stupid, it's a desperation act by the police. They know that the criminal could very well get off claiming insanity and they doing everything they can to try to keep that from happening.
I don't know if anyone else would agree with me but oh well. I also don't know if this reasoning is, well, sane but it makes sense to me anyway. "

How do you think you will die?
1 year 2 months ago
"I imagine myself dying a lot through the day actually. I don't know why but I do. Whenever I am driving on the road I imagine myself loosing control or something and smashing into another car head on. Sometimes at work I imagine myself being sucked into one of the jet engines or being smashed by the luggage carts. I've imagined falling down stairs, being shot while getting mugged and so many more. I've also imagined myself never really waking up. They aren't really scary thoughts to me; they seem more interesting than scary. Which one will it be? I ask myself which kinda makes me laugh because I also imagine myself dying in a funny way. Like dying on the toilet or something. "View
