The plot twist with Galatea becoming blind was something I didn't expect, let alone the fact that she actually wanted to be found and hunted down to only exterminate a previous number 2 that's awakened. I wonder how the battle's going to turn out.

The whole story is a littler perverted anyway. two 14 year olds, get married in secret, and love each other so much that if one dies the other will follow so they will never be separated.

It's perverted and they ruined the real play. The only good thing about this anime is the op. XD

i read the claymore manga's and yes you could say there better story wise, but a manga and a anime are very difrent, so comparisions are stupid.

I've never had anything against Raki until now. Why did he have to stop Clare from killing Priscilla. If the real Priscilla from her Claymore days saw her the way she is in the future, she'd rather die than become the very monster that killed all those who she once held so dear. Does Raki seriously think that the real Priscilla would want to keep eating human guts or finally be released from her misery? And when I mean the real Priscilla, I mean the rational one that can tell the difference between human and yoma. I have a feeling there might not even be a second season since they could have at least stayed to the original storyline that had a much better plot

The latest episode was still interesting even though Clare's arms didn't Awaken. What's also intriguing is Priscilla's reaction after sensing Clare's yoki that she believes is Teresa. I wonder what she'll do, I'm 100% positive she will try to find Clare in order to find some explanation as to why she can feel Teresa's yoki after so many years. I can't wait for next week's episode. ^-^

Not recommended for those who do not wish to be slapped with a heavy dose of reality on how different the singers look from our imaginations. And beware of the cheesiness of Japanese PVs.

But I do find Kosaka Riyu looking somewhat similar to Clare though.

And yes, most likely you will need to follow up with the manga, as with most long running manga adaptations like Get Backers, Rave, Inuyasha, etc.

Although Priscilla seems to have lost her memory, we can't exactly confirm that unless Isley describes it. After all, her personality as a Claymore was lost years ago and her human mind was completely based on the righteousness of the organization, so without it, we may possibly have the Priscilla we see now in episode 19. If she had lost her memory, I suspected that she would eat Raki or something, but if she didn't, then he may resemble her deceased brother. Like they say, all will be revealed in time, I just wonder how long that will be for the manga and anime.

Priscilla's back, but she isn't acting even remotely like her old self. I wonder when her we'll ever see a fight involving her and any other Claymore for that matter. Well, as for Clare, I seriously can't wait for her fight against Rigald because it's one of the best fights in Claymore so far. Can't wait!

How could Clarice possibly get her sword stuck in a tree? Audrey and Rachel are total idiots for underestimating Riful and thinking that a number 3 and 5 like them could ever take on an Abysmal One without even realizing the power difference. As for Miata, I wonder if she'll ever snap out of that mental instability and notice that Clarice is not her real mother. I just hope she doesn't end up awakening in the end and turning into another Priscilla.

What do you guys think about the Awakened? I think they are a little clumsy in the design, too much stuff on a huge body...but well..the mangaa does like to empathize on detail in that way. Read Angel Densetsu, it´s like that there too.

Then again, the complexity of each Awakened One depends on the AB also. For example, Katia's design was somewhat intricate, but not as detailed as Jean's form that had really butterfly beautiful wings. I also love how each AB pretty much has their own individual form, compared to the usual, generic yoma since I love surprises. ^_^

You're talking about her right arm that was given to her from Irene. I'm talking about the left arm that she was born with. You've probably noticed that she can only perform the Flash Sword skillfully with Irene's donated right arm, not the left that I was referring to. And I'm still wondering whether or not she will master her left as much she has mastered Irene's right in the near future.

Although you were not quite specific, you pointed out the highlights of episode 17 that might ruin the surprise for others. But I admit, you didn't spoil too much so I take it back. However, don't forget who created this thread in the first place so you better watch out and don't bother replying back on the Claymore thread about our little argument because it'll only bother others if we keep bashing each other. If you want to make a scene, do it somewhere else or pm me if you're so angry at a total stranger that simply suggested something, otherwise I wouldn't call you much of a fan of Claymore if you decide to ruin the discussion for others.

This episode was pretty interesting, I didn't expect a strong AB like the yoki-controlling one to come up this fast when the Northern Campaign's just started and they were all male too. I always love to see the reactions of other strong Claymores that underestimate Clare due to her number status. After all, the organization would have lost 3 single-digit Claymores earlier in the show if it wasn't for Clare. I can't wait to see the next episode, but I keep wondering if Clare's ever going to be able to master her left arm the way Irene has.

Her face is completely covered in shadow in the anime and I never knew she was so huge either. Duph was much smaller when compared to her. One of the things that surprised me the most is how Galatea's going to lie to the organization about Clare and Jean. She said, "Low ranked warriors like you can't possibly survive an encounter with Dwellers of the Deep. And basically, I had no intention to search for the bodies that were destroyed by the Dwellers of the Deep." That was kind of her.
