I think two "humans" are different. For the anime character, you fell in love with him/her because his/her characteristics suit your demand and this is not truth. However, the real person is different because everyone has strengths and weaknesses. If you want to keep the good relationship with your girlfriend, you should tolerate all of her weaknesses, which is usually not needed for the anime character."

"I think it is good for people to have a chance to read manga at the bookstore because they can read the new published manga and they can know more about the new manga. This may help the business of the bookstore. Also, people can easily check which book they have not bought yet and it is convenient for them to buy the manga.However, some people will just stand at the bookstore all the day and this makes the other customers annoying. Also, as you mentioned, some people will misplace the book due to their convenience. To solve these problems, the manga in the bookstore is not "fully opened", which means that people can only read a part of the manga. If they find it interesting, they can buy it and read it at home. Furthermore, the workers can observe people who put the books everywhere and people who stnad at hte bookstore all the day, workers can tell them to go out. I think this is reasonable enough."

A Japanese wants the Government to pass the law that the people can marry with the animation character. In this news, I remember that the animation character is Mikuru Asahina from the animation of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And of course, this law is not passed and this incident is ended quietly. However, we have noticed the problem that some people treat the animation as the reality and they want to live with the animation characters. I think there is a trend that many people use too much time on the animation and ignore the reality. It seems that this problem becomes more serious since the animation market of Japan becomes bigger and bigger and people have more chance to see the animation. They fall in love with the animation characters because the characters are very beautiful and their characteristic is ideal. Sometimes I feel that the characters are perfect and I like them. "The supernatural on tv may be not true because the technology nowadays is really improved and there are many methods to create the fake video and pictures. For example, we can create the "ghost picture" by simply using some software such as Photoshop and Abode Reader. Also, there are many video editing programs on the web and we can use them to edit the video clips fastly. As a result, the supernatural on tv may be repaired by someone and broadcast on TV.

CHICAGO - Leave it to the Dutch to help demonstrate the health benefits of chocolate. A study of older men in The Netherlands, known for its luscious chocolate, indicated those who ate the equivalent of one-third of a chocolate bar every day had lower blood pressure and a reduced risk of death.
The researchers say, however, it's too early to conclude it was chocolate that led to better health. The men who ate more cocoa products could have shared other qualities that made them healthier. Experts also point out that eating too much chocolate can make you fat -- a risk for both heart disease and high blood pressure.
"It's way too early to make recommendations about whether people should eat more cocoa or chocolate," said Brian Buijsse, a nutritional epidemiologist at Wageningen University in The Netherlands, who co-authored the study.
Still, the Dutch study, supported by grants from the Netherlands Prevention Foundation, appears to be the largest so far to document a health effect for cocoa beans. And it confirms findings of smaller, shorter-term studies that also linked chocolate with lower blood pressure.
The findings, published in Monday's Archives of Internal Medicine, are based on data collected for more than a decade on Dutch men who were ages 65 and older in 1985. The long-running Zutphen Elderly Study has been used by other researchers to look for risk factors for chronic disease.
This time, researchers examined the eating habits of 470 healthy men who were not taking blood pressure medicine. The men who ate the most products made from cocoa beans -- including cocoa drinks, chocolate bars and chocolate pudding -- had lower blood pressure and a 50 percent lower risk of death.
Cocoa beans contain flavanols, which are thought to increase nitric oxide in the blood and improve the function of blood vessels.
"This is a very important article providing epidemiological support for what many researchers have been observing in experimental models," said Cesar Fraga of the University of California Davis, who does similar research but was not involved in the new study.
Buijsse noted the men eating the most cocoa products were not heavier or bigger eaters than the men who ate less cocoa.
Could the study results apply to women?
"Our study consisted of elderly men," Buijsse said. "If you look at the other interventional studies, you see the same effects in men and women, younger people and older people. It may be the findings are generalizable to women, but you never know."

"I have played L4D in the PC and I was impressed with the game. For L4D2, I think the style is very similar to L4D. For example, the zombies and the kinds of weapons. Although you will blame on this similarity, it is true that not all things will be changed in the second game. There must be some differences between L4D nad L4D2 but we still do not notice the differences. Just wait for the game and try it. TGV has recently held an interview with Doug Lombardi, one of the mystical figures behind Left 4 Dead and the upcoming sequel, Left 4 Dead 2.
The interview throws additional light on the features of the sequel. It's basically a rehearsal of what we've seen in previous News--about twenty new weapons are available, the AI director has been ameliorated and cross-gameplay is being developed.
The details of cross-gameplay are yet to be made known, but Doug states that modded content can be easily ported from L4D to the sequel with only a minor modifications. Here's a snippet of the interview:
One of the things that has been floating around is the idea of cross-gameplay with the original Left 4 Dead; is this likely?
That's something that we're trying to work out right now, the details of it. So nothing specific to say today, but we understand that it's a very valid thing to be working on and looking at. With the MOD stuff, if you're making stuff for Left 4 Dead it will work in Left 4 Dead 2 with very minor amounts of work to bring it over. So we feel we've made good steps on that side and now we're looking at how we manage that for folks who buy the first game and sequel.
