"While not exactly an ending as its a continuation, El Hazard Magnificent World OVA 2 ruined it for me to some degree, as the first OVAs i enjoyed thoroughly, though the sequel never really answered things for me namely regardingThus whenever i watch it, i just watch the first lot of OVAs and cant watch the 2nd lot of OVAs
Though as for endings i can't think of one that's necessarily bad to the point of not wanting to watch it again"

"There is no best way to watch it, though for some shows there are things that are lost in translation, like Excel Saga and Azumanga Daioh, though unless you knew japanese it'd be more or less lost on you regardless of dub or subtitle depending on how well the translation is done.For me i watch it either way, though more commonly in english on DVD cause i'm lazy, though there is exception if i can't really stand the dub, which is the case for Meiking, sounded too flat. Seems liek they hired actual porn stars cause the sounds were better than the dialogue (going from intro scene in the anime :P)
But really i'm not fussed as to how i watch it just so long i can understand it (speaking of which i need to get the translated eps to You're Under Arrest Full Throttle, i been watching raws lol)"

"The PS3 has the additional benefit of playing Blu-ray movies.With the ps3, you can make it a media/entertainment centre, seeing as you can swap out the hdd for a larger capacity 2.5" (laptop sized) hard drive. With DivX support you can put all your videos onto it and also dump a heap of mp3's onto it as well
Gaming, movies, multimedia = winner in my books. Though a laptop can do those things as well (games to a lesser extent) but you can also do more work on it, depending on what you want to use it for.
It comes down to what you want most. A gaming/multimedia centre or something more portable which also allows you to do work/photoshop/image edit/whatever"

Which Animes Would You Like Redubbed?

"Amazing Nurse Nanako's dub annoyed me, especially Nanako, though as a whole the anime itself was fairly below average so i guess it didn't help the fact eitherSame goes for You're Under Arrest season 1 =D
Though i wonder what the japanese producers think of the english dub for Cowboy Bebop
The other thing is, with ADV they tend to use their "town bicycles" alot as it were. Granted they do top work just that on the most part they sound more or less the same and its just a matter of trying to pick which anime you can remember they did before hand, though in saying that Utawarerumono had a pretty good dub and the voices didn't sound as "generic ADV"
But i'm getting off topic a bit
Another show i'd like a redub is Ah! My Goddess Season 1 by Media Blasters, though not with a different voice cast, just redubbed by the same voice cast cause its woeful in the first season especially Belldandy's though 2nd season is a whole lot better. Though ideally, i'd like to have the movie voice cast redub the TV series :D"

"It does bug me when another person's grammar is incorrect, granted on the most part i am a grammar/spelling nazi, though unless it's intentional, such as the "lolcat" type grammar for comical effect, it bothers me. What i find more annoying is when you see posts where they have shortened the words and/or bastardized the english language as much as possible, so much so i have to read it 3 or 4 times to understand what they actually wrote"leet-speek" is another thing, i just don't really bother with that at all, all the numbers and whatnot in place for words @_@, it sends me nutty"

"Well somewhat i guess, though it's a point of contact for other people really more than myself using it to contact other people. i buy $15 credit for my phone and for the most part it lasts a few months, heck once i let it expire after 6 months (as $15 credit only lasts 6 months, though if i went $50 it'd expire in a year) though i did lose the $9 something i had left in credit at the time lolI probably could live without one, just that it'd be harder for people to get a hold of me, that and i wouldn't know the time for whenever i go out :P"

"As far as graphics for me is concerned, i'd say they'd have to be good enough to suit the console for the time period. I don't want to see something sub-par quality or something that looks like it was made for the previous generation of consoles, you have to expect a minimum standard for acceptable graphic quality for said console.They are important, though not of main importance. Graphics help the immersion of the game and if they are lacking, well it breaks that immersion"

"The recently aired anime Ah! My Goddess Fighting Wings is a 2 part OVA, both episodes were aired back to back (From what i can assume as they were both up at the same time)As far as a third season goes, there is nothing at this point in time, though there is word that there may be another one around October this year ( keep in mind this is only speculation at this point, nothing is concrete)
There is plenty still to be animated, to which i would love to see the Queen Sayoko arc animated (and done with justice to the manga version). Though they have left out Welsper so far in the series, granted he was an important factor for the Angel Eater story, namely the end of it, really he should of appeared in 2nd season with Hild
No it isn't considering you have yet to have Bell's two sisters Urd and Skuld to come in, plus the demon Marller/Mara (depending if you watch the japanese or english audio) who doesn't particularly like Belldandy
Alot does happen and a fair bit of humour plus a bit of romantic stuff here and there
2nd season sees the introduction of Peorth, another goddess and a bit later on, Hild the leader of Hell

"I havent finished the game myself (more or less just started the 3rd area) but it is a game really worth playing and parting money for. I have found it has been somewhat easier than i thought but i think thats more due to keeping the flow of the game.i love the style and the use of the brush is good and isn't over used as you can use normal melee attacks just as much if not more in combat as well"

"Well from what i remember and heard, the artist/creator to Astroboy was more or less trying to copy what was in american cartoons as they had the big eyes, so as to appeal to the western audiences. If you look at anime from the 80's they more or less have standard size/small eyes compared to todays animeFor the most part, the big eye thing has just something thats been used more and more cause of what he started.
Not all anime are like that, the more heavier/darker series the eyes on the characters are more or less the same as what you would normally see.
One thing in anime as well, is that the villians have smaller eyes, this also applies to characters that arent as nice as the lead character(s)"

That and the definition between Western animation and Eastern animation. Anime (also referred to as japanimation, although rarely these days) is aimed at a broader audience, specially with the shows that are created and there are more series dealing with specific things and adult stuff as well, in the sense of what most teen - young adults deal with in everyday life"

You can at most times buy dvds online for cheaper than what they are instore.
I want Cowboy Bebop remix collection boxset, but thats $119.95 at retail price, but online i can buy it for $101. Sure its not a massive saving but its better than nothing, and even with postage i still end up being cheaper. With postage online it generally works out cheaper per title if you buy in bulk. Instead of buying here and there, wait for a bit and save the money then say once a month buy what you want and you'd probably end up saving some money even with postage

"I'm sure many would of have said that about their atari's and what not back in the day too. PS2 has had a pretty good run mostly due to the fact that the good majority of game developers were making games for it, but with the current gen, more of the developers are going to others, thus sony is losing their exclusives they once had. Namely its more between the 360 and PS3 interms of gaming titans. Sure the wii will have its fair share (i have one so dont point me to fanboyism here ;) of games, and probably no doubt will have ports over from the other two, the main juggernauts are the 360 and PS3 cause of the power they have with games both graphically and what the consoles themeselves can handle
It's not going too far at all, its more or less keeping up with current technology. When the Ps2 came out it has the capability to play DVD movies and with games on DVD as well, offering better graphics and games that can be done better with shorter load times, the same is with the xbox as well. DVD playback, games on dvds and so on.
The only thing with the current gen is the format war between Blu-ray and HD-DVD. Given that both have only just come out its not surprising at the price they are, the ps3 though has more Hi-def output thus the higher p rice >_<
Look at the PS2, DVD technology had been around for a few years by the time it came out (dvd tech was around '97 i believe) so it had the chance to get a little cheaper, but that still made the ps2 still pricey at $700 odd (thats australian money)
It's just a shame at how expensive the PS3 is at $1000 (about $800USD) but you are paying for the latest technology though"
