"Hrmm.. having a look at it again. maybe you need a more complicated background. How about making a backdrop of Antarctica in the background but keeping your original brush work. Or you can have a backdrop of clouds... (more defined clouds). Probably right now the background for your wallpaper looks tiled if you know what i mean. Just something to give it more depth. I think personally i wouldn't put the character to the left. She looks like she running off the page. I'd more put her to the right instead. So that she's facing inwards? I can see an improvement on the hands. They don't look as patchy as before now hehe. And this also is just for personal taste but I like wallpapers that have titles of them. Of course you don't have to do this... i just find it looks better that way.

Also another point, umm what are you trying to convey in this wallpaper? Like whats the idea? e.g. say you want to express your feelings about the terrorist attack of the twin towers. You could put a man falling from the building as a center of attention but also put in the background a big picture of Osama Bin laden. I know that was a lame example but you get the idea?

So keeping that in mind maybe you want to make ice that slows you down. You can draw/brush in ice particles enveloping on the guitar but emphasising that the character is still attempting to play? Meaning that even if things are slowing you down you can still persist through? *shrugs* just a suggestion... "

"Nice wallpaper so far. I really like the icey feeling to it. But, can you see her hand? it looks very very patchy -> which doesn't look right. Did you put a texture on top? If you did maybe you should lower the opacity or play with the blending options. Also in the lower center of your wallpaper, there are vector circles... they look a bit jagged. Maybe fix that part a bit. Did you vector your character? If you did it looks great!. I hope this helps. I can't wait to see the finished product."

In the article it says it might be a practical joke by medical students but I highly doubt that. Why would they spell it wrong? They're highly educated people, I'm quite sure if they did do it then they would have at least checked for the spelling. But of course they have on the other hand another case <- It might be a psychopathic serial killer."

"Hi, I've done a couple of the changes you (Breezie + Thanthire) told me. I reduced the amount of motion blur on the characters. I've also blended the sandy ground much more that in the 1st revision. I've also added in the "sandstorm" or "sand twister" ... however you like to call it. I've also changed the title because i didn't like my old one. But if you guys think its even worse please tell me.

"Hey guys! another wall from me for you guys to critque! hrmm this wallpaper unlike my previous one really had more time and thought into it. Feeling dread for exam results really inspired me to create this wallpaper. Well first off, I downloaded a scan from here of fate Stay night. Then it took me ages to extract, I kept making mistakes with my shaky little hands haha. Oh and I moved the guy with navy hair more forward which he was much more further back in the scan. I also removed someone that was originally there in the scan and I motion blurred parts of the characters more. The backdrop i was going for was a desert kind of feel. I used brushes textures and a stock photo of clouds. I also added the dusty environment so it would look even more real. Which mind you was painstakingly hard to make <- well to me that is.

Well anyway critique is always welcome whether it'd be one of the harshest ones you've ever seen or one of the best appreciative ones. Please let loose.

Interesting observation about women and coughing.

"Hrm.. I don't really notice a pattern in anyone i.e. seeing if they cover their mouth or not. There are some people who cover their mouths and some people don't. Although I have noticed that most guys clench their fists and cough on that while girls cup their mouth.

Here is a screenshot of what happens everytime i press "view recent comments" button.


Description: In pressing the "View recent comments on my wallpapers" at the top of the web page, it displays an extra person (Gravityspec) who hasn't even commented on my wallpaper AND has not logged in for 2 months.

Comments: I've done this a couple of time already and it still displays it. I'm not sure whats happening. Is there anyway to fix this? "

"Hi my wallpaper (below) has just been accepted at AnimePaper but it doesn't seem to show any more resolutions than the one I uploaded (1800 X 1200). Is this a problem or do I have to upload the different resolutions individually. If so where can I upload it? Do I do it the normal way but clicking the submit button at the top bar. OR do I click the edit button on the page and upload more there (since it displays three fields <- Although i'm not entirely sure this is the correct method, hence my post). Thank you.

"An excellent standard of wallpaper! Although this is just for my tastes only, I really prefer wallpapers with titles. Maybe write Gaining of Innocense... *shrugs* just a suggestion. I love the vector you made though. So much detail put into the hair -> BUT something about it doesn't seem right... You see on top of his hair near the back? It looks like loose pieces of hair just sprinkled on top. It looks kinda weird.

Also I might add that about 1/4 in from the left side on the floor. There's a straight line. is that meant to be there? It looks out of place unless its something that i'm not seeing... I also think the floor looks a little bit repetitive <- what i mean by this is that it doesn't look like natural ground. It looks like its tiled in a sense... very synthetic. Maybe make different roughs just to make it look more natural.

Sorry if i'm being a little too pedantic. Also you don't have to agree with everything i've said. Its just the nooks and crannys i think need fixing.

I like the updated version mainly because of what you did with the empty space in the upper right hand corner and above the left hand

although the wall in general (to me) looks and feels kinda gothic-y i guess some of us have that feeling when school starts again we dread our way back

It looks too "gaussiony".. or maybe its just the condeseness?? i don't know something about it strikes me but i can't put my finger on it. But I love the dark effect you put on naruto though! I think also that you need a backdrop. Maybe the woods or something. Plain black looks a little boring if you ask me. The Background is the place where you get to "shine" so maybe get a screen shot and repaint it... or get a stock photo and put a few textures and brushes. "

Assuming you mean you want to use your own sound files as ringtones, there's a program called Motorola Phone Tools that you'll need to sync it with your PC. You'll also need either a USB cable or a Bluetooth adapter to connect it. The software is normally $35, but most people just pirate it anyway... either way, you shouldn't have to pay for a separate program to use a phone's full functionality, in my opinion.

True that, but I got mine already in the box when I bought it. So I guess you don't have to pay for a separate program unless of course you lost it."

I'm afraid not. I have to send my device to Japan for the warranty. I've just bought it and its way cool! It hasn't wrecked yet so there hasn't been a need to send it just yet. I've dropped it quite a number times but nothing has happened. Its built on flash memory so it doesn't skip or anything like that. "

Money or world peace??

"I'm afraid I'm one of those selfish type of people. Honestly I don't really care what goes on in the world. Of course I hear it on the news all the time, "Riots in Pakistan", "War in Iraq", etc but really... I couldn't care less. *scratches head* yup. Now with that money, it could solve a lot of my problems. I can help pay the rest of the mortgage for my parents, I could invest it houses, I could pay off my university fees. It'd make my life THAT much easier and quite frankly if there was world peace, it would not change any of my issues. None at all.

BUT obviously the circumstances change if perhaps war started happening in Australia where I live. Then definitely I'd want world peace. so they can stop fighting and so I can continue on with my life. There is not a completely direct answer to that, there are always obstacles and barriers and depending on the current situation. However if you asked me without considering anything, then I'm definitely taking the money. "
