This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

What will you do to your anime collection if you have grown and become parents??

"Do you keep your movies? It's really the same question. People tend to hang onto what interests them until (1) something else interests them more or (2) they outgrow that interest. My son liked Teletubbies, then Barney, then Thomas... and now he's into Naruto. Will he outgrow that? I don't know - I watch Naruto, too (subbed so I can hear the dialogue and check for horrible mistranslations, which aren't that common with the good fansub groups). There are anime series I don't care for anymore, but others I look forward to.Anime is a medium now, with enough variety to appeal to various ages and interests (how many folks have I loaned Samurai Champloo to? Whoa.) You'll lose interest in something and learn about something else. Or, at least I do.
As to watching the stuff, it'll be a cold day in the nether regions before my son watches Black Lagoon with me (or even the fansubbed Naruto)."
