What is your weakness?

"My biggest weakness I'd say is that I'm OVERLY selfish with my time. I have a set routine that I'm basically in love with and I don't really wanna change that. It's a tough position to be in, I don't usually hang out with people because I like being in my own world so much that I don't want to leave. It's not something I'm proud of, it takes away from my ability to keep up the relationships I have with people."

What do you think 'bout Eureka7?

"I greatly enjoyed this anime. I was deeply involved with the characters, their stories and then general storyline plot. It's a love story for the most part and I like that. There was a lot of talking, but the action scenes that were in there made up for the lack of total action. I've bought all the DVDs out so far and I'll be buying the rest. This a great anime and I've recommended it several times and will continue to do so."

"I watched a concert earlier this year that they were doing and when they were introduced they were called Funk/Pop pioneers. I think that's a good description of them, but I think they are much deeper than that too. For a band to make the kind of music that just makes you feel good when you listen to them, to me, makes them a band that can't be simply classified like that. First you have Anthony Kiedis, originally when they first started out he rapped for the most part, but since Californication and a few tracks here and there on older albums, he has developed a more melodic and soothing voice when he sings. John Frusciante, in my opinion, is one of the best guitarists around right now, his range and intricate style of playing is a staple of the Chili Peppers uniqueness, not to mention his vocals sync perfectly with Kiedis. I've listened to his solo work and his albums contain a deep level of richness. Chad Smith is an excellent drummer, even when they're just jamming on stage, his drums and his ability mesh really well with Flea and John and finally there is Flea. He is, in my opinion again, one of the best bass players around right now. I know a lot of people probably don't think so because they think there favorite band has it all, I know because I used to be one of those people, but for the depth and technique of his playing it's hard to argue that there is much better out there, while his slap style of playing isn't anything new, he in as integral part of the whole of the Chili Peppers. While it can be argued that there are greater bands out there, it's impossible to argue that these guys aren't one of the best bands of all time. When I listen to them I feel like I'm being wrapped with a certain warmness that makes me feel good."

Prey: the good, the bad, the ugly

"This is a fairly good game, kinda revolutionary for what it was, like you said with the spirit mode and walking on walls, also going into the boxes the lead to a completely different area was cool too. The only thing that bothered me was the ending, it was really anti-climatic and wasn't nearly as good as I thought it was going to be."

Why do like Anime?

"I watch anime because it offers me a chance to get lost in a different world. The storyline, the characters, the settings, everything about the anime that I watch has elements that suck me into the world it creates and keeps me there while I watch it. I've watched anime for 7 years now I enjoy it even more now than when I first started watching. When I first got into anime there were only 2 shows on that I watched, every weekend I'd go stay the night at my friends' house and we'd record the new episodes of pokemon and digimon that came on Saturday mornings. As childish as they may seem now, they were really good shows for their time, some of the first anime to actually be in mainstream television here. After awhile I bought Akira and Vampire Hunter D on dvd before I even had a dvd player and that's where my anime collection started. I guess in a roundabout way of saying, I mainly watch anime for the feelings I feel when I'm watching it."

"I've stated it before, but if it's a good anime then I'll get both versions. As for burning a fan-subbed anime to dvd that's something I would do if it wasn't going to be coming here or if it's just something I want to save."

"I use the dark version of the CSS style so I don't get to see the banners, but the ones I have seen are awesome and the creators did a great job when they created them."

"I would much rather have a gift card, it's a sure bet you'll get what you want. You could also look at it as the person giving it to you didn't put much thought into your gift."

Do you think the anime getting licensed is losing quality?

"Not every occasion is like that to me, I do however think that there are anime that have been ruined by the dubbing. For instance, I think Funimation does the worst job possible with the exception of 2 anime that they did a wonderful job on, Kiddy Grade and Fullmetal Alchemist. They did the dubbing for Trinity Blood and it has already been taken off of Adult Swim, not to mention the other anime that could have possibly been good that they did. I singled them out because they have the one of the biggest catalogs of anime out there, I'm not saying that they are the only ones who suck, there are other companies out there that do terrible jobs alongside them. I also happen to think that Bandai does an excellent job of dubbing the anime it gets, one of the best knows of those anime is Cowboy Bebop. So when it comes down to it you just have to hope that the anime you like gets a good dubbing, I know I had my fingers crossed when Bleach finally got dubbed here and it turned it out to be pretty good."

"Memories in the Rain is the first OVA, Sealed Sword Frenzy is the second OVA and then the newest one that just came out is called Memories of Nobody. The first 2 have been subbed and have been on on bit torrent sites for a long time now, the newest one isn't on bit torrent yet and I'm not sure if any groups have subbed it yet, you'll just have to check around on the internet to see about that."

Dubbed vs. Subbed

"If I watch an anime, especially one that I like, I'll watch both versions. I like seeing the fansub stuff because you can get a better feeling of a characters' style and you just don't get that with dubbing. On the flip side, dubbing allows you to get a better understanding of the story and plot of the anime, the downside being in a lot of dubbed stuff that I've watched and have seen fansubing of, it seems like the characters are toned down a lot and say goofy things like dang and shoot when the situation obviously calls for something more."

what kind of anime do you like?

"I'm more of an action anime person. One of the most outstanding animes' I can think of is the Stand Alone Complex seasons from Ghost in the Shell. That anime has the perfect mixture of action and involved thought process. It really makes you think and that's part of it magic, your drawn in more and more as the season progresses. Another is Death Note, I've only seen the 11 episodes that are out, but from what I can tell it's already shaping up to be a lot like GITS. It also makes you think and keeps you on the edge of your seat with all the suspense it has. The action isn't as plentiful as it is in Stand Alone Complex but it's got enough for what it is."

"I watched the clip of him going to the ramen shop to help them sell more ramen. It was so freaking hilarious, he was doing all his poses while playing with the little kids. One of the best parts of the whole thing was when he was handing out fliers to people he chased down a guy on a bicycle and kept up with him, I couldn't even believe it when I saw it."

"I do feel lonely sometimes, but more often I feel like being alone. I'm not a socialite like most of the people I know, I just hang with my friends and chill at my house for the most part. I have to have a healthy dose of solitude or I feel like I'm being suffocated by the world. Is this video card a good deal?

"I would wait and just upgrade your stuff when DirectX 10 is released, there are some cards out, but more will be out at cheaper prices when it comes out. I currently have a Radeon X1600 512MB PCI-E card, it's awesome, I have a bunch of new games and I've been able to play them without having to turn any of the settings down. The best part is I only paid $150 for it when it came out. It's about that cheap now, but when it was released it was $299."

"I really enjoy this anime, it's easily one of the most intense shows I've ever seen. Light and L are both great characters and are exactly opposite except for the their desire to be #1. I haven't seen the movies yet, but I've watched the 11 episodes that are out so far and I'm really liking every bit of it."

BitTorrent - Why Use It?

"I use it to get all the wonderful anime I watch, lol, so I think it's a great thing to have. It makes it easier to get the files and puts less strain on website servers to get out the content they want to distribute. Peer to peer has it's disadvantages too, a buddy of mine was contacted by NBC through his ISP because he was sharing an episode of House. They asked him to stop which of course he did, he wasn't sharing it on purpose, he had to go to work in the middle of the download, so in the end it could go either way, it just depends on whether you want to risk it or not."
