now to me everything is good, excpeted the moon. it still looks like a spotlight aimed right in your face to me. i think you could make it a bit less shiny... go in greyish tones or so.
if you mention me in wall description, call me "master of the universe" or "ruler of cosmos" or something like that XD lol

"Yay guys i worked on Illustrator (which i must say amazes me more and more every time) and went with a pretty cool result i find (i might just be completely mistaken ahah)
for BG i tried to draw, suck up, drain, vacuum (pick the one you prefer :p) inspiration on Kalico's wall but ended up with a sad but true conclusion: Kalico (hello btw if you read this miss) had plenty of room to play with tones and ranges of blue, and i have not much more than 20% of my wall to do that... so i did what i could XD i even took the green to almost yellow in some places... hope it improved at least a bit ahah
i added some new text too changed the title to "GUILTY"
oh well enough talk just have a look at it ^^

another thing: when i spent time watching the stars, i usually do it when there is not a single cloud in the sky. the thing is, clouds HIDE stars, and on your wall, it's obvious you put your layer with stars before the one with clouds. and i'd suggest to remove a few stars on the lower part of the wall (below the clouds) because its a bit too heavy in stars, looks like too noisy. to do it, i suggest you either play with contrast/brightness or levels, those two make wonders on this kind of starfields :)

"Yeah follow the advices of the unknown hamster about light it's all true.
i'd say the first one too, but honestly be carefull, puting anime character on "real looking" BG (even if it's CG or whatever it's still looking real) is a real trap and can easily turn up to an ugly mess. if you do it modify the BG first to have it look more "anime like" (it's just an advice).
and about the first version of the wall, if you intend to put fon't (of course u're gonna put font XD) on your next version, work on it as much as possible so it doesn't look just like thrown on the wall and becomes an eyesore (i see too many walls with a fon't not blent at all with the rest of the picture, don't you agree people? XD )

"No no no sorry but no. first, please provide a decent link where we can see the wall in its full size, so we can judge on the real wall (scaled down wall can hide a lot of details and imperfections)
second, the curved lines on your BG are all shaky and... not well done. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle is supposed to be a nice, clear anime and this kills it all. try to make perfect curves with the pen tool, it's just very very easy with this tool.
for the rest of the wall, it seems good but i can't really say since it's scaled down. host it on imageshack or something similar at REAL SIZE and i'll let you know how it is.

tho i'd say forget about the "water riddles" stuff on the character, or at least on her skin. then, you should put your sig on the bottom of the wall where it is expected to be seen, and make one stylized that blends with the picture, cuz for now, sorry but it's just a real pain for the eye.
and watch out for the size of your wall, it needs to meet the standards, look in the FAQ of the site for this (i usually go for 1280X1024, a very common size that matches for most screens)

"Yosh here we go. made the eyes according to what i understood of trismugistus' directions (not sure i got it all... :/) and went with two versions for the BG.
one with a full green and some yellow on texts, and another one with splashes of blue, dark yellow and red, same goes for the texts, as well as a blood line on Vince's chin... but i don't really like the second one.

"Extract moon -> layer via copy -> play with contrast/brightness -> overlay or lighten or any blendng mode you prefer -> outerglow or blur on outerlines to have a sweet blending. this little trick usually makes wonders when done well.

worked a bit on my vector of Vincent from Ergo Proxy.
and i went for a grungy background :) how is it done? do you like it?
my main problem now is that Vincent's face looks too "clean" compared to the rest of the wall. any ideas suggest advices? they're all welcome :)

here i am with a new wall! i didn't finish my Hantsuki wall but i will soon don't worry... i just needed to give my mind some fresh air so i came up with a vector of this dear Vincent... allowed me to practice my vector skills in the same time XD
it's rather empty for the moment, but well his face wont leave me a lot of room anyway. i'm gonna have to work on BG mainly i think, put some grunge effects and other stuff like that. i put the "i have seen it" thingie but i was thinking to put something like "now you pissed me off moron" lol i really find Vincent has an angry face on this hehehehe. well this is how it looks after 3 hours and a half (3hours vector, 10min walling 10min smoke break 10min stomach filling break)
so what da ya think?
