This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"I like the clouds, but the grass doesn't look right. It looks fake. The guy was extracted well, but he looks wrong in the scene, plus overall the wall looks too simple and boring."

"The pen image seems low res and the font used is hard to read when small. The wall isn't bad, but it's not fantastic. It's kind of boring."

What do you think of this?

"The background and some of the foreground seems a little too bright. It's also kind of small, unless you were shooting for that."

"[quote=zippincracker]here it is. its not finished so dont be too mean if it sucks, but i do appreciate any criticisms or suggestionYou need to work on extracting the gundam from its orignal background. On the left bottom side, you can still see some of its background still attached to the image. Also, the background is shows a rainy scene, but the gundam doesn't have any rain on it, making it look like 2d and not part of the actual scene. Lastly, the scale of the gudam could be better. You have him next to a gravestone and he's just a little bigger than it, which means he's human size and he really should be about the size of a building. That would probably be harder to show in a wall, but a larger gundam and a smaller gravestone would help out alot."

"She seems "isolated", in order words, it's like she isn't a part of the background and is merely a 2 dimentional image in front of a picture. You she looks a little too smoothed out and she's also not color corrected for the background, so she still looks removed from it.
Everything else seems right now. Love the background, love the flowers on the left side, a classic girl-in-bikini- shot.
You also did a good job extracting her from her original background. This is something I need alot of practice on and I intend to submit here soon so I can get better at it."

Could somebody PLEASE help me...

"I'm new here myself, but from what I understand of the guide, if you need raw material for a wallpaper, you go to the scan section and get it there. From there, you remove the subject of your piece, give her/him/it a suitable background, then slap on your signature on it and submit.
When you're starting out, you post it here and if everyone thinks it has what it takes, you can submit it to the main gallery.
At least, that's how I understood it. I could be wrong, I am new after all...
But back to you, if you could have someone identify the character, maybe a better image can be found the scan section and you could use that. I think that would be acceptable."

"I like the second one over the first one. The dots aren't a problem, but the image overall seems too bright. Other than those things, it's a nice wallpaper."View
