After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"What are Papers?Papers are the AP equivalent of currency.
You can earn them by joining in with the community and you can then spend them on things like scans.
The Paper system is always developing and progressing so you will have many different ways to spend your cash.
Why the paper system?
The system is really quite ingenious because Bantam is a genius. It functions on the principle that continued contribution (i.e. via posting, commenting, or submitting wallpapers and scans) will result in continued reward.
Here's an example. If you submit a wallpaper, you earn 100 papers. To download a scan, it is, say, 50 papers. So, if you submit a wallpaper, you can download 2 scans. If you have 0 papers, as a result of no contribution, you cannot download any scans.
This is better than earning to a designated level, or a certain number of posts, because we have found that often, once a member reaches the set goal, he or she will stop contributing altogether. Similarly, a completely free system encourages leaching and non-contribution. With the paper method, much like with real money, your contribution, or work, is equal to your reward, or pay.
Ways that paper can be earned
Please note, spamming the forums or wallpaper comments will be treated severely. A zero tolerance policy is operated.
To emphasise this point fully, members who are found to spam the forums or wallpaper comments may be banned or have their posting privileges removed WITHOUT WARNING. Not reading the guide is no excuse.
Having a wallpaper accepted to the gallery (gain 100 papers)
To upload a wallpaper, press the submit button at the top. Fill out the required details and press the submit button. Read the wallpaper section of the guide for the full submission guide.
All walls pass through an approval process. Only once your wall has been approved will you receive your paper.
You gain 100 papers for every accepted wallpaper.
Having a scan accepted to the gallery (gain 100 papers)
To upload a scan, press the submit button at the top. Fill out the required details and press the submit button. Read the scan section of the guide for the full submission guide.
All scans pass through an approval process. Only once your wall has been approved will you receive your paper.
You gain 100 papers if your wall is accepted into the gallery.
Commenting on a wallpaper
To comment on a wallpaper, full view it by clicking on the thumbnail, then press the back button on your browser. Now, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your comments into the box. Once you have finished, press the submit button.

You are only allowed to make 1 comment on any wall. Anyone found spamming will be treated severely - a zero tolerance policy is operated.
You gain paper for commenting on a wall.
Posting on the forums
You can browse around the forums by clicking on the links indicated. The forum is divided into several sections, based on theme - try to post in the most appropriate section of the forum.
To post a reply to a thread, click the link to view it and read through the posts that have been made. To make a post, scroll to the bottom of the page and type your message in the box. Press the "submit button" to add your post.
If you want to respond directly to something someone has said in the thread, press the quote button on his or her post. You can then add your comments in the box at the bottom of the page.
To create a new thread, use the create new topic button at the top of the forum section. Fill in the thread title, sub-heading if required, and the contents of your post.

There are a set of rules that apply to the forums and you must comply with them. Anyone found spamming will be treated severely - a zero tolerance policy is operated.

Donate to the site
The whole purpose of paper is as a way of preventing leaching of bandwidth for nothing in return. As such, the above methods are set up as a way of getting you to join in and be active and then give you something back.
However, there is another way of getting paper. In exchange for donating money to the running of the site, we give you paper. After all, the reason we have the paper system is that bandwidth costs money, so if you are happy to pay for some of its use, we are willing to give you some paper.

Ways that paper can be spent
Other ways of spending your paper will be added as the site expands and the developer’s get round to coding them. At the moment, the system is mainly a way of limiting bandwidth leaching.
Downloading, or full viewing a Scan (Costs up 50 papers - scan costs vary)
To full view or download a scan, go to the thumbnail page and either click on the thumbnail or press the download button. Please note that these are exactly the same process and each time you click it will cost you paper.
In addition, some "speed up" plug-ins can cause multiple clicks or downloads of a scan without you realising it. Please be careful when using such programs.
Once you have spent all of your paper you will not be able to download any more scans.
A scan costs a maximum of 50 papers, but discounts are often applied.
Creating a group (Costs 2,000 papers)
Groups are places where people with a passion for a subject can get together and chat about it, or share resources, or anything like that. Groups are fully explained in the groups section of the guide.
To create a group go to the main group page and click the create new group button. Fill out the details and press submit. All groups go through an approval process.

Ways that paper can be lost
Spending it (see above)
The most obvious way in which you can "lose" paper is if you spend it!
If you're puzzled as to why your paper has gone down, think about the things listed above - have you done any of them? If the answer is yes then that's why it went down :).
You loose paper if you spend it.
Having your scan rejected/deleted from the gallery (Lose 100 papers)
When a scan is rejected you are fined 100 papers. This is entirely deliberate.
Please note carefully here, during approval you either gain 100 papers or lose 100 papers. This means you either end up +100 better off or -100 worse off. The 100 is not removed after 100 is added.
The reason for this is essentially that you broke the rules. If you did not read the guide, or failed to do what it says you have broken the rules, and you are being fined for it. The fine is supposed to make you pay attention and try to ensure you read the guide.
If you comply 100 percent with everything in the guide you will never lose any paper.
You loose 100 papers for a scan rejection/deletion.
Having your wallpaper rejected/deleted from the gallery (Lose 100 papers)
When a wallpaper is rejected you are fined 100 papers.
Please note carefully here, during approval you either gain 100 papers or lose 100 papers. This means you either end up +100 better off or -100 worse off. The 100 is not removed after 100 is added.
The reason for this is essentially that you broke the rules. If you did not read the guide, or do what it says you have broken the rules, and you are being fined for it. The fine is supposed to make you pay attention and try to ensure you read the guide.
If you comply 100 percent with everything in the guide you will never loose any paper.
You lose 100 papers for a wallpaper rejection/deletion.
Fined for repeated bad behaviour (Lose X papers - admin/mod discretion)
If you spam the forums and wallpaper comments, or troll, or generally disregard the rules or the instructions of mods and admin's you will be fined paper.
The amount of the fine is dependent on the offence committed and the discretion of the mods. You should note that your paper total can go negative and you would then have to bring it back into the black before you could spend paper.
You lose paper if you break the rules and are fined.
The Leader board
In recognition of those who have made the biggest contribution to AP, a leader board has been put together.
This can be accessed by clicking on your paper total at the top and lists the top paper earners as well as where you sit in the rankings. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded for the top three.
It's just a bit of fun, so get uploading those high quality scans and your best wallpapers to climb your way to the top. Maybe you can even beat our three current champions!
