"I think that we all need changes sometimes. It's not always good, but neither always bad. Depending on the circumstances, it may harm you but also give you a better life. I like changes a lot, I change everything whenever I feel like it, it can be from the slightest thing to the biggest, for instance, I never used to listen to music outside the house and now it has gone 4 years that I am listening to music (Ipod nano) whenever I am out, I never leave the house without my Ipod. I also used to be a very introvert person, didn't dare much, didn't talk, didn't leave the house for a second hehe, now I talk to everybody, whenever I have some spare time I always call my friends to meet or go to shops (I love shopping), I do whatever I want and feel good. So basically, changing my lifestyle and myself has really made my life better. I don't like being the same old person with bad habits and way of thinking, I like changes, it can be about my taste in clothing, food, character, lifestyle etc. "

Addictions

"I have been addicted to games before, but not so much right now, unless there is a game I long for. I was addicted to Diablo: lord of destruction, for some years ago, I couldn't stop playing for 2 years, I did my schoolwork, but I was still online very much, if I had 10 minutes recess, I came home to play for 5 minutes ^ ^. Then I became tired of it, it was an online game anyways so many of my friends weren't online and it felt like there was no meaning to play alone.

Right now, I wouldn't say addicted, but a die hard fan, of FF, I always listen to soundtracks, watch videos, search for wallpapers, well such staff to decorate my pc^ ^

There are many addictions, not just when it comes to games, it can be about food, just look how many suffer from overweight. It can be about shopping, hmmm, I might be a bit addicted of it too^ ^, if I don't buy anything, even a small pin or whatever, I become easily sad. "

"Sometimes, yeah, I do feel like my life is like an Anime, when unexpected things happen, when something is too good to be true and when special things that you think only can occur in fairytales and animes happen in reality. But I have to point though, anime includes much fantasy while reality does not, maybe that's the biggest difference. "5 years you were together and 5 years she cheated on you? where was her love for you? the empty space her father left when he died can't be replaced with anyone in the world, because a father is a father and a boyfriend is a boyfriend, you don't have the same relationship with both, so how could her other boyfriend possibly be there for her to replace the vague space of time? I think that she just needed someone who constantly could be by her side so she wouldn't feel loneliness and sorrow, but she chose the wrong way to do it. Why couldn't she have told you it sooner? you could have discussed things and found a solution. I don't know how you feel about it, you loved her and are now feeling very bad, wonder if there is a meaning with life and such things... but such kind of betrayal... I don't know if I would be able to forgive if my boyfriend did so to me... and even if I managed to do it, I wouldn't trust him, just like you said, we would remain only friends. I don't know... it's so hard, the situation, depending on how good relationship we had, how deep feelings I had for this person... but even so, 5 years are a lot of time, if she did it once, she can do it again, think of the possibilities. There are too many of us who believe that "if I only had money, I would be so much happier" but, would you? I mean, really? You would buy everything you want and spend so much more, what then? You would continue to spend money here and there, enjoy your life in any possible way, till you became obsessed and always had to buy something. My dad thinks the same "money is everything" and never leaves his job for any matter, whether it's about me or my grandmother being in hospital dieing in any second. He talks about money with such happiness and values them so much that you think that everything he cares about is money. I have often felt like that and it drives me crazy because people are so obsessed of money that they don't care about anything else, love, health, friendship, family...

I have a friend whose parents are doctors and well, you can guess how filthy rich they are^^, she spends money all the time, makeup, clothes, cafeterias, travels whenever she feels like it and doesn't care about her education because she knows that with so much money in her pocket, she can become everything she desires. The only advantage she has is a stable and good economy, nothing else. I worry about my economy, but that doesn't mean that I can't afford to live a happy life, I can live a better life than her.

There is no perfection in this life, so what makes you think that if you had money, you would live a perfect life? Let's suppose that money really is everything, in that case, they can cure you (then why do people still die? suffer?), give you love (as far as I can see, people betray each other and play with each other's feelings, especially when it comes to rich ones, just take a look at the hollywood stars, how much info is there about britney spears? why isn't she happy with so much money?).

I have seen enough evidence about money not being everything and my dad is a living proof for me. Not so much time ago, my parents lost their jobs and well, it was a difficult time for us, the thing was that my dad became so desperate to earn money that he decided to become taxi driver, guess why, he dreamt about earning millions by working around the clock, seven days per week. I went to the second grade in upper secondary school and had a dream about becoming designer because I loved to design clothes, give them cool shapes. My dad then told me "I will succeed and earn millions, you won't" while smiling brightly. I stared at him disappointedly and couldn't understand how he could think that way and wish the worst for me. Today, I am finishing the upper secondary school in just a few weeks and will continue my education in University, as for my dad, he didn't pass the tests and lost his confidence, so he got a job as cleaner. How things can turn out, lol, but my point is that if you put so much value in the money and want to succeed and earn millions, you will fail and become disappointed. Focus instead on your passion and success will follow you :) pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work. I have met people that are satisfied and happy with their professions as teachers, they don't earn billions, but yet live happily. "

"Everyone in my family hate anime, besides me^^. I have pictures in my room, pc, mobile, and whenever my mom appears in my room and sees my wallpaper, she just says "oh this crap" and I go crazy because I so much love my anime wallpapers. My dad was never interested in anime and even if he saw me having a wallpaper, he wouldn't care and I appreciate it much more because he doesn't hurt my feelings in comparison to my mom. My bro always has a comment and I hate it, just like my mom, why can't they just accept that not everybody can like the same things?? Which Career Path would you Follow?

"Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work. I would definitely choose something close to my heart no matter what people thought about it. Parents always want your best, so they just select the best carrier they think is the best for you, my parents for instance want me to become a doctor and I suppose you all know the reason.

We are prone to judge success by the index of our salaries or the size of our automobile rather than by the quality of our service and relationship to mankind. I don't claim that being poor is a good thing, but don't think that you will become happy with money. I have many friends that think exactly in the same way, they want to become doctors and masters of engineering just because they earn so much money. Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful!

I have had teachers who were happy and satisfied with their job while I constantly read the news and find out every abnormal and crazy thing the hollywood stars do every day and still aren't happy with their lives. The first thing I think about when it comes to my carrier is to choose something I know I truly love, then I think about all pros and cons and eventually about money. "

"Yeah, I certainly have, that's for sure. It's completely different in comparison to before, even about 10 years before, as a kid you went out to play in the garden, today? a kid who goes in elementary school has a mobile phone, a girlfriend, pretends to be tough etc. Even in my school, upper secondary school, those who started last year are only bringing noise. They run through the whole school playing games, talk behind your back, sit the way they want, play music loud etc. Rather in which language you tell them to stop behaving the way they do, it's not much of a help, I wonder why? Why has it turned out this way? then I hear some of my teachers telling us that we are the future, which we are, but what kind of future do they expect if we behave this way?"

Obsessions

"I agree with Longbow, either she will continue to become more obsessed or realize how much more important her future is. It happened almost the same thing with my brother, he got a friend at school and started to hang out with him and also liked to play extremely much! he left his school work, didn't care about anything, stopped listening to everybody and lived in his dream world ^ ^. He continued being obsessed despite the fact that everybody around him tried to talk to him some senses and yet after so many years, he is 21 and still at home playing. He is not like before, he has realized that he has to change his life somehow and that is good, I just hope that he really means it and that it is not only crap:P

Actually, I think I am obsessed as well. In another way perhaps lol, in a nicer way. I used to play a lot, not pay so much attention at school, but I still never let any of my homework undone. Lately though, I have become obsessed, really obsessed, by final fantasy. I listen to soundtracks, search for wallpapers, icons, videos and everything you can imagine. I have bought 3 big figures, a pillow, a keychain, cards and I constantly search for more things! Let's say, my dream is to travel to Japan and buy everything that involves final fantasy ^ ^. Not to mention that I have a huge interest in learning japanese --- pretty badly! A friend of mine bought me a book with the japanese alphabet. "

"I used to have a lot of energy and being out a lot, but lately I am at home all day right in front of my pc :P I need to get a high grade in physical education this year (which is my last in upper secondary school) so I run 3 times per week and my motivation for it... well, firstly I will get the highest grade, then, I can go down on kilos, build a healthy and good body, increase my stamina and a lot more... I know that I have to do this for many reasons and for every time I exercise I know that I become better and better. I guess it's just a decision you have to take and change some things in your life, besides, it's better for your health than sitting indoors the whole day. "

Dreams; The Power of Money

"I have had many dreams, too many actually. Look, only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly, so, there are no guarantees. You have to try, believe and struggle. I am going to do everything I can in order to fulfil my dream, it doesn't matter if I have money or not, if I am alone or not. You only live once, don't you think that you will regret it if you let such a possibility go to waste? Do not only dream about something you would love to do, make sure to do it no matter what. Especially when it comes to your carrier, you will work for so many years, isn't it better that you do something you love? Sometimes, sacrifices are needed as well, but don't refuse to change things, perhaps it will only be temporary and much more fruitful eventually.

Advices are good, always listen to friends, family and people you love and trust. Don't forget though that it's your life we are talking about so listen to your heart and choose what your heart wants (when you have thought about it sufficiently enough of course^ ^)"

Looks or personality?

"The personality is more important than the looks. That is because, you maybe look great until a certain age, then after that, the great looks will disappear and what will be left will be the personality =)

There is a problem though, isn't there? When we find someone we feel attracted to, it's not because of his personality, but because of his great looks. We all become affected by looks in one way or another, but the thing is, you have both pros and cons here. What benefits do you gain with great looks? -> you will love the body, hairstyle etc. What benefits do you gain with great personality? -> great moments, understanding, love, care, value etc.

Which one do you need the most to survive and live a happy life?

I would guess, a combination of both. It's difficult to find such a person though, because either he/she will have great looks and a nasty personality or the reverse, a great personality and nasty looks :P I don't say that you should go look for someone that has perfect looks, but as long as they are ok and you like him/her, it's good enough. Don't think though that you will live the happiest life of your dreams because of someone's looks, what if that person never listens to you, takes care of you, thinks about you or worries about you? Would you still want to be with that person just because of some perfect looks?

I liked somebody for a very long time. I became attracted to him because he had a great body and a very cute face. Of course he talked nicely and kindly to impress me ^ ^. Then when I found out what a really bastard he was, I realized that the value of a human lies in his/hers heart and not in the looks. I let my heart suffer while he didn't care about it, so I couldn't accept it anymore. I couldn't let my heart suffer because of his great looks, what about them if his soul is evil and nasty? I would want somebody who respected me, liked and cared about me. If he had great looks, it would be even better =) but believe me, looks are not everything. "

Has technology making us lazy?

"Yeah, technology has made us lazier than before, because we build up machines so they can do all the work for us. There are both pros and cons, starting with the pros, we have more time to do other staff we find interesting, we have evolved (just think how things used to be when people worked with agriculture and now everybody has 3 or 4 computers at home). We make our life much easier. The cons would be that we sit too much, don't care about exercising or doing anything at all, which leads to health problems. High technology is great, but we should also consider the problems we are facing today. "

"Internet has both pros and cons depending on how you use it. Starting with some advantages, people can communicate wherever they are, any time and the way they like it. You can order things and pay them, use both email and msn to communicate, play online games, find information, explore things and several other staff. Let's say, we have a big use of it these nowadays.

The disadvantages would be, if you become obsessed by it and stay inside your closed room for hours chatting with friends or playing online games. I sure do think that it's fascinating to play games and meet new people from all over the world, but only to a certain extent. We have to use it for the right reasons, to have a bit fun, to work, find information and of course communicate.

"Yeah I think the same, they should be more relaxed. Well, the guy in my class is not so badly affected as the girl. I am trying to talk to her and she has told me that her mother goes into her room trying to stop her from reading the entire day (parents wants us to read but to a certain extent, if we exaggerate and read the whole day they will become anxious and of course react in some way). She doesn't listen though and I understand that she has to get high points in order to become what she wants, but it's way too much when it affects her health.

Extra points makes not just me but also the two of my friends go crazy xD. We always have to get the top grades. The guy even compares himself to us and whenever he gets worse he flies into a rage and doesn't talk to us for the rest of the day. "

"I think it's different from pupil to pupil, the will matters, the interest and such similar reasons. I have a friend in my class who is extremely anxious and terrified of getting bad grades. She has very high expectations of herself to always get the top grade. In my opinion, it's not good, because she will live in fear for the rest of her school-time. What if I get a worse grade? -> suicide. She constantly tells me about her anxiety and dread. It's great to have good grades, but knowledge is not everything. Character matters as well. Even though she wants to study jurisprudence, all the work has affected her health and she already had health problems before.

Then I have another friend who is a bit like me, he struggles and studies (not 24-7 like her, she barely goes out or watches television!) but he doesn't push himself so hard to get the top grades. If he got worse than he expected, he would become angry, but not commit suicide. Alright, I know that it's about our future and carrier, but we are exaggerating too much. This surpasses the line of demarcation, we become addicted of constantly getting the top grade and that is not good. It's ok to cry and feel sad, but look from this point of view -> you never really lose, until you quit trying. We have to give ourselves a second and even a third chance. Practice makes perfect, right? Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, this time more wisely. We shouldn't judge ourselves just because of one failure, it's not the end of the world."

1. I am not a math genius:P but I think that you need to have big interest in order to understand them. To be logical, creative, be able to understand their system, think in different ways and come up with several solutions, because when it come to maths, there are 50 ways of ending up with the same answer. So the important thing as they say is not the answer, but the way to the answer, how did you find that answer? how did you think and why. That is what they want with maths, to increase your logic.
These are surely not everything that affects us, it could also be due to our heritage. Some are better because somebody in the family was good.

2. I usually get about top points so they never get pissed :P only when it came to maths, I barely made it. They were satisfied with what I got though, because they knew that I did my best and couldn't understand any farther. They knew that I never liked them.

3. Hmmm, English! And languages in general, I love to learn languages. Then Psychology, it's fascinating! Philosophy as well. Hmmm, what else?

4. Always bad, I make it, but that's it. I can't get the highest grade, never could, I could do better but not more. Like if we say from 1 to 5 I am getting 3 and max 4. "

do you get along well with your bro/sis?

"Not always, it depends on many factors :P we used to fight almost every time we spent time together since my older brother was too annoying :P(I'm female and 4 years younger than him) he always did something nasty or got into trouble of some kind or broke my toys. One thing we had in common was to play games a lot and we cooperated actually. So even after so many years, we still love to play games and have something in common to discuss =) We both love FF for instance (it's good to have interest in the same game or it is easier to not get along anyways) I am even reading more information than him :P but I think it's cool to have something in common to talk about, we can get along better and share our thoughts and ideas. Now that PS3 is out we are planning on buying it, he gives half of the money and so do I ^ ^.

It's different now, our fights have decreased very much, we talk more and have a better communication with each other. We don't hurt each other fysically like we used to, but we do have a tendency of hurting each other physically, we say hurtful things to each other. That happens when we are angry, fight for unimportant staff, can't get along etc. "

"A good idea would be to read psychology =):P there are different theories about dreams actually, such as, we dream so we will continue sleeping (the dream is a way of letting us sleep more by experiencing cool staff in our dreams). Or because dreams can be interpreted and there are symbols for each thing you see in your dream, some say that water means "quick", for instance if something will happen to you it will not take much time until you focus on something else and let it go.

A dream contains parts of your experience of the last few days and a wish. I also read that we can turn our dreams into the opposite of our will because of dread.

What do you do when you're bored in class?

"Haha, nice stories =) It depends on how bored I am and in which lesson, when it comes to boring subjects (for me), such as society, I often become totally bored and dream about other great staff lol. We use computers in order to find informations and explore things, so I often end up visiting a game website or reading my horoscope :P it's at least more interesting than the lesson :D. I think it's better this way, because the teacher can't know what you are doing (alright they suspect that we are doing other things :P but they can't confirm it unless they really catch us playing games :P) so whenever they appear next to us we just click on the Word program :P "
