"19" is a good starting point, a good pricepoint. you won't be able to go to any resolution higher than 1280x1024 however, so keep that in mind
also, its best to run LCDs at their native resolution at all times (again with a 19" thats going to be 1280x1024) so if you game alot, make sure your video card can handle that

the issue of "remenance" (i think you are referring to ghosting) depends entirely on the person and their eyes. 25ms combined rise/fall has been enough for me to not notice ghosting, but on the other hand i know people who can see it at 12ms.

the benefits of LCDs outweigh their detriments, and i suggest you get one. good luck and remember to check out about a specific LCD model on review websites before buying (google + insert lcd name here + reviews)"

"MMORPGs tend to be where the market is going, which IMO is sad because they are just level grinds without good stories (usually), and the story is what makes the RPG game great

my favorite RPGs are definitely not ones made in the past 5 or so years. i think FF9 was the last RPG i liked, with earlier ones being baldurs gate and fallout. i also liked pokemon (laugh if you like, but its an rpg of sorts and it was good when it was original and not all over-sequaled)"

"There is alot of good anime out there, but just like any kind of tv show, for every good anime there are about 20 bad ones. my personal favorite list:

12 kingdoms, cowboy bebop, trigun, hellsing, trinity blood, x, samurai 7, lupin the 3rd, robotech (although the novels are even better than the series), macross, crest/banner of the stars, gate keepers, aura battler dunbine, ronin warriors, ghost in the shell stand alone complex season 1, outlaw star, tokyo underground, big-o, noir, blue gender, hack sign (not a series for everyone, but its sequal is good too), sol bianca, kiddy grade, stellevia of the universe, great teacher onizuka, samurai deeper kyo, da da da, aquarian age, dual, lodoss war, meine leibe (i forget the spelling), fullmetal alchemist (pretty original), psychic academy, bubblegum crisis 2040, witch hunter robin, scryed, gankutsuou (count of monte cristo), shingetsutan tsukihime, and those are just my favorites out of all the stuff i have seen. believe me, there are many many more that are all crap..."
