"I am one of those loners. my family doesn't quite understand why i watch anime. one of my sisters inn fact says i need to grown up bc i'm 21 almost 22 and still watching "stupid shows" on which is actually anime. i have tried to explain that there are people whom are in o i don't know older than me watching anime and that there is nothing wrong w/ it. but she doesn't quite seem to grasp the idea. "All nice comments. i will have to look into each one of them. might take me some time will get back on with what i thought bout them w/ each of. you as well. as for the books i read it was real interesting on how she kept twisting the story but it all made since in the end. the book i started w/ was called the Poison Study, then the Magic Study, & finally the Fire Study. if you like adventure, danger, magic, fighting, love and so on you will love these books. there are also side short stories to go w/ these novels and i believe there is an other one coming out soon. I can most defendantly feel your pain waiting for an other novel to come out. can hardly wait for her next adventure to over turn my imagination. it was a perfect quote from one of the critics whom read these novels "This is one of those rare books that will keep readers dreaming long after they've read it."-publishers weekly, starred review bout the Poison Study. i really do recommend reading these novels. ne ways keep up the replies want to hear all the great novel and more that everyone has read. let me know ne new ones as well for those whom have already replied."

"I am interested to c what the latest novels, short stories, manga, and so on that everyone has read. i personally just got done reading some of the greatest novels i have read. really awesome story line. it was a short series 3 novels as of now. however it was the 1st set of novels that i have gotten into, outside of a romance novel, in a while. they were well written and keep you on your toes. they were written by Maria V. Snyder i recommend reading some of her stories. "

"Games can b an addiction! most like ne thing else can. i take it from personal experience. my ex was very into (WOW) world of warcraft. now i have nothing against the game. i personally dont play bc 1. my comp can handle it 2. i dont feel like paying for it 3. i have some other things i need to do than play. i can become addicted quickly just like some others out there. i just dont feel like doing it. i love to play comp games and station games but i would rather write my novel. but hey thats my thing. "

"Well to b honest im disgusted on the issue. i can believe that this would happen bc look at todays society and look on what it is coming to. our world has changed so much since well 10 yrs ago. i mean you have shootings at schools every day and drug bust and rapes and you know in my city alone i think in a week we had 8 parents leave their young children in the scorching sun of the summer w/ the windows up and so on & when i say young i mean under 1yr of age. although im not as crazy to think this stuff didnt happen b4 our time. so im not at all surprised that this happened. and im all for do your own thing sexually but mean come on. there are time you need to draw the line. it is already against him bc he had a child w/ a 15 yr old girl but to even do this to his own child whom wasnt older than 8days. it is disgusting and wrong for him to do that. my heart goes out to the child and her hurt surrounding caring relatives whom most likley didnt c this coming. "

"I can understand your pain. even though its hard for me to watch tv these days due to the fact i live w/ my grandparents and my grandfather hogs the tv.. oh well hes 79 yrs old he can do it... but when i do get to watch tv its hard to watch a program bc there are so many commercials now and all they are about is how to loose weight and how to improve sex for older couples whom have harder time getting things done. just to leave it as that ill b nice. not that i go against ne of those commercials they show good cause for those people... i could stand to lose weight too.
but this is not the only reason im disappointed in tv. its bc granted most of tv is violent, degrading, and out right stupid at times. but when i sit down to watch tv. i would like to watch something w/o the censorship. im an adult and if i want to watch something that is swearing and showing nudeness all up and down the screen i should b able to do so. now i understand that people are concerned bout children watching tv w/o censorship and so on. but if i have kids it is my responsibility to watch and understand what they are watching and chose when i believe that they would b old enough to watch the same things that i do. whom else can agree w/ that? "

"I agree w/ most of the fellow repliers in this forum. why would you hide your interest? there is no reason to hide your interest. showing what your interested in shows part of who you are. the only reason i can think of on not showing your interest is bc maybe you are afraid of part of who you are. as for me maybe i could b in this category from what i say and i say this bc i dont let it b known but i dont hide it either. its just part of me. yes i talk bout it in public and would proudly display it on a shirt, folder, or what ever. but i dont. im more if you want to talk bout it and b known then ok if not then ok. thats your thing. but it would make me think that maybe your afraid of showing me part of who you are if i were to meet u. which would make me think what else are you hiding. you know what i mean. however, i am a proud anime fan. i have always love anime and always will. dealing with death

"My first cousin, Greg, died on Feb. 15, 2008, he would have been 30 on July 2nd this year.
my family received a phone call early Friday morning before 8 am saying that he was found on the couch not breathing, and was on the way to the hospital . shortly after we got there we received the message that he had passed on. it felt as if it were all a dream, time seemed to slow as you took in the words of the dead. as you sit there crying you think no its not true its not real. but at the same time you know that it is. and as you go to see his body, looking over him, you imagine that he is breathing and that he will reach up to you and touch you. as if he were playing some horrid joke. my cousin was much like a brother to me and my sisters and he was a good man for all the horrible things he had done and said in his life. finally as he was turning around because he loved his practically wife and his not even 4 year old daughter. but it ended up being to late.
now my family is fighting over him and how his remains will end up. my mother says that he should have a proper catholic memorial as well as I'm sure my grandparents, and his practically wife and mother say that only his immediate family should be at the wake and ceremony and he is to be cremated. my family finds this unfair to us and others in the family because we would get no closure with him if this happens. we understand and respect his and their wishes but we hope that we can get closure. if he is buried than we have a grave to go to at least.
i just don't know what to do. my entire family is torn to apart, they wont stop fighting at all not even for a death in the family. i know that this is not what he would want us to do, and i don't know how to get it across to everyone. i also don't know how to cope with my own problems in this. because when i lay in bed part of me says I'm scared to sleep and the other says its ok, and part of me just cant stop seeing his lifeless body on the table. i need someone to give me advise. please help...."

"You make good points. some how i view it as just to be yourself dont fallow everyone else. use everything that you have to create your own unique self. if someone says that someone has already come up with that idea or that name or product, oh well, just know that it was a great idea. then try again. go back to the drawing board with it and somehow make it even better. in doing this you will be original because you were yourself and no else. "I believe in some ways, yes, technology is making us lazy. here is a good example: most people if you need to look up something where do they go?? encyclopedia or internet? internet is the most likely choice. another example: say the school is no more than 5 blocks from your house. do you ride the bus or car or do you walk? most likely answer is the car or bus. or in math do you use the calculator or write it all down? most people would say calculator.

so i would have to say yes to this. just think about it though. think how many people would say yes to these three things ive listed. quite a few, yes. but also think why is technology making us lazy? number one reason in my book is its easier!!!"

hmmm... good question. I guess it just depends on the kiss. such as a kiss to a long time friend and say the person you are with gets mad. That kiss really wasnt cheating. however, if you kiss someone just to kiss them, then i would start to rethink about whom your with. if your wanting to kiss other people just to kiss them than you should more than likely not be with the person your with. i say this because you deep down might want to be with the other person. or you might feel like your trapped with the person your with."

"I have five sisters and two brothers most of the time my brothers and I get along. In fact I can not remember a time that we have had a disagreement nor an actual fight. My sisters on the other hand have had plenty of arguments and have gotten into some fist fights or two. Of course there are times I fight or even dislike them but I don't hate them. There are times where we would disown each other but, we would be there for each other at anytime no matter the circumstances. My entire family believes that family always comes before anyone else. I guess that what happens when you have a big family. "

"Here is a question: have you ever thought that the universeis of several universes?

what if the universe was like galaxies? with there being thousands of clusters of universes. it would be a grand discovery in science. even though this is possible lets get back to subject. ^_^. where did everything come from... well, in religious point everything was created by god. other than that there is not much else to say but it already existed. as for the other question the universe ending... my speculation is that it does not end. then again, science says that it must because it is expanding. some scientist have said that the universe is expanding, and that it will shrink back, then expand once again. it is on a constant path of expanding and shirnking. at least that is what i belieave i read. i could be mistaken."

to hide the truth! what they did to the countries in wwii was wrong. the people of those countries will not forget, the world will not forget, and because noone will forget they can not forget. they can keep it from the history books in their country but they can not hide it from all other sources. i like the japanese and their coulture but even they did wrong in this world just like every other contry.
