After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Try http://www.sxc.hu for high res stock photos (you need to sign up for an account to get images though).I don't know... there are still issues for it to pass. What version and what graphic software do you use? Photoshop? Photopaint? paintshop pro? Because the techniques are not quite refined. I assume you don't like to hear that, and I know you're good in drawing or so, but digital art is a whole new thing, it requires artistry as well as technical know-how of the software you are using. (So far you only got artistry).
here are the issues I want to note:
â?¢ Don't use too much stock photo.
â?¢ if you use a little bit of stock photo, try making the quality nice (you know this already) and don't blur it too much like the one in that wallpaper.
â?¢ It seems that you used the eraser tool with a round brush on 0% hardness on extracting the characters (did you?)... DON'T DO THAT. Try using the pen tool. If you can't get a hang of the pen tool (like 95% of the population in the world does) I'll provide tutorials about advanced pen tool handling in my site someday after I finish loads of project.

"EDITED: Fine. That's pseudocode, heh. And there's nothing wrong with that script IMO. Eitherway I'm not majoring in software development, I'm more in the Multimedia. But at least, I learned VB and basic PHP at home. I'm not much of a nerd anyway and I don't give a damn how good people are because if I know what they were doing, I too can code like shit blindfolded.
That was just a suggestion. You don't have to change your functions if you don't want to, besides I have fun pounding comments to those tasteless wallpapers who got into top rated."

"How does the script function? Don't tell me mods choose them 'cause I saw bad wallpapers the other day, and the other day.How about trying this pseudocode:
if (fav > 15) and ((hour posted + 1 hour) == true) then {
PUT TO TOP FAV
}
If the wallpaper has 15 favorites within the span of 2 hours after the hour of posting, then put it to top rated.
Or if you got something better than that then good. >D

"1600x1200 is 300kb to 800kb == TRUE else DENIED!(1280x1024 or 1260x960) is 250kb to 600kb == TRUE else DENIED!
1152x864 is 200kb to 500kb == TRUE else DENIED!
1024x768 is 150kb to 400kb == TRUE else DENIED!
Well I know that ain't PHP but you can use this pseudocode (and modify some values) for that wallpaper size problem."

"I gotta agree with Nuni and everybody, your wallpaper got "slammed" for a reason. Instead of complaining about the automated message, just try to improve your wallpapers a bit.The only thing I pity in your pleas is that there are WORSE wallpapers out there that got into the galleries... and GOT INTO THE TOP RATED TOO, and yours got rejected.
It's a good thing I don't see a bad one on the top rated as of now... if I ever see one again... hehehe..."

"Yup, stick with the first version. On the second one, I don't know if you believe in religious stuff or you think it's just crap, but taking verses from the bible might be controversial or offensive for some other people (like me). So yeah, stick with the clouds and less text.Don't be too monotonous with the cloud patterns. Add more "background" to it... what is the setting of the NGE world? You might add some elements from the anime in your wallpaper."

"It's not pixellated, it's a texture. AND IT'S FINE. (It's even better than the texture you used in that Naruto Wall dude :-P)Anyway Tate, I agree with the snow, the edges are soft that's why it looks like clouds. Make it a little bit more solid, putting some shading on it is nice but it's not necessary. In addition, place the snow, 'below the girl, it seems that you painted it afer the girl.
Some say it's empty? Well for me I don't think so, it looks fine. However, if you want to add some more elements in the picture (only if you want to), kailangan i-bagay mo sya sa ibang objects ng background. (hehe, speaking in tongues :P) Moreover, do not add a dead bird, WTF, it's going to look silly. hehehe"

The moon is bright and it's behind the clouds, don't you think the clouds' colors seems to be a little bit off? try making the body of the clouds shaded with a dark color, and preserve that light color just on the edge.
